Chick fil A's chicken is the best chicken around, makes KFCs chicken look like woodchips from a playground. Colonel Sanders would be disappointed. Wouldn't consider this food particularly "healthy" but I'd rather have this than the trash that the other places continue to produce. Their Milkshakes can easily contend with Cheesecake Factory's, Five Guys, and even the place which prides themselves for their dairy, Dairy Queen. The only other time I've been to a Chick-fil-A was in a mall when i was in Atlanta. There it was nothing special. Here though, it was a different story. Maybe it was because this location was just recently opened six or so months before we visited? Maybe it was because it was in an actual brick and mortar location? I'm not sure. But either way, I loved it. There was a line almost out the door when we arrived. The line moved rather quickly and within five minutes they were taking our order. Once our order was made we picked a place to sit and they brought out food out to us. This was something new we've never experienced in a "fast food" location. The food was hot, fresh, and juicy. All of our orders were correct (we're talking two adults and three kids here people). All of the staff were very friendly and checked to see if we needed anything (extra sauces/napkins) more than once (but not to the point where it was annoying). The store itself was VERY clean. There was someone cleaning up continuously during our time there. The bathrooms were also very clean (which is something I look for) and well stocked. If we are ever in the area we would absolutely go and get some amazing chicken. read more

So I stopped into chick-fil-a in north syracuse. Turns out it's right next to KFC. Long line and I can not justify the wait. I say let's do KFC. No line. Go figure. We order 1 grilled nuggets, 1 kids nuggets and a grilled chicken. Ka-Ching! $21. Are you kidding me. Better be really good and plenty of it. I can get a bucket at KFC for that. The order shows up at our table. The 6 nuggets look like clam strips they are so small. The grilled nuggets are in a microscopic box. I have been to chic-fil-a before and never had a small portion like this. The grilled chicken sandwich was dry and tasted over cooked. Look at the pictures. Basically had to feed my boy and wife again. Only the shakes were decent but they are just soft ice cream stirred up. My experience here was terrible. I'd had sought out manager but it was a madhouse. Needless to say I won't go back. Get a 3 piece at KFC for same price for a full meal. Had a nice kid play area and plenty of parking read more

I've wanted to patronize this Chick-fil-A for months now, but every time I drove by the lines were way too long. So I patiently waited and it paid off when we finally were able to drive right up to the ordering area. Talk about unreal service, they had super nice young people waiting for you, to take your order. They all seemed happy and so sweet! I place my order, drove up to pay, and everything was ready. BOOM. I brought chicken sandwiches and strips home to Buffalo since we don't have this chain yet! Ask for honey roasted BBQ. It's the best sauce they have. read more

In all fairness, I don't review many chain restaurants nor do I review fast food really at all with rare exception. But since this is a new place that is making its first Upstate NY location near me. I had to give it a go. I have had Chick Fil A in the past in other places so it wasn't completely new to me. But I wasn't blown away by the food I had then. And not much has changed in that regard. It is better than average fast food. A lot like how I feel about five guys and other places of the sort. What is giving this place extra stars is their staff currently on hand at opening. The grand opening of the cicero location was 2/22/18. So at the time of my visit. They have been open 6 days, and this place was an absolute madhouse. Shoulder to shoulder in the building. Full parking lot and a line of cars 30-40 deep in the drive thru. But it's one of Naomi's favorites fast food wise. So we waited out the 45 minutes in line and I got myself what they call their Chick Fil A Deluxe sandwich. A crispy chicken filet with lettuce and tomato and cheese, with some waffle fries, and a frozen lemonade drink. It was the same chicken I'd had elsewhere which I'll agree with the masses. Is a well done piece of chicken far better than you'll get from a KFC or Popeyes. Juicy and crunchy and the seasonings they use wherever they flash freeze them and ship them to stores is good. Fresh veg and a soft steamed roll. Classic chicken sandwich done right. The waffle fries are crisp and something a little different than you'll get somewhere else with shoestring fries. One thing I will say is I've had their fresh squeezed and their frozen lemonade now. And those are superb quality. Fresh squeezed Just like the fair grounds makes it. And the frozen is a creamy lemonade treat that tastes like a lemon creamsicle when they add the whipped cream. That's unique to the place. The extra stars that put this place above average I'll reiterate goes to the staff. This place is a zoo right now and they are all younger people taking it in stride and of the 3-4 people I heard nothing but thank you and smiles. They have to be genuinely exhausted with this rambunctious opening that according to them has been bigger than the NYC opening. And that says a lot for a medium sized city. I wish them the best of luck. And since the girl loves this place. I'm sure we will be back. I just hope not having to wait almost an hour next time! read more

I was very impressed how delicious this place was. This review is a 5 star in the fast food category. This isn't meant be compared to a regular restaurant. I had heard really good things about them and kept asking what in the world could be the difference between them and every other chicken fast food place I have eaten at. I was definitely incorrect to assume they are all made the same. Their friend chicken sandwich is so freaking good! The chicken is piping hot and crunchy, the bread is so soft, and everything is so fresh! I love the waffle fries so much! I have to ask myself why it has taken me so long to eat here. Another really unique thing is their sauces. I am a huge sauce guy and typically make my own out of a few. I don't need to do that here. Chick-fil-A is pretty awesome. I take my daughter there to play after we eat lunch together, much healthier than other fast food options and I don't feel grossed out feeding her the chicken nuggets. My favorite is the spicy deluxe meal and a large fry (to share with my daughter) definitely a comfortable restaurant you can bring the family to. read more

This place is fantastic!! It was peak time and and they took my order and I was immediately served. They even had an employee walking around handing out straws, napkins or whatever else you may be missing. There was tons of parking and plenty of seating. The bathrooms were perfectly clean. Always a pleasure dining at this restaurant. I'm glad they finally open a location here! The crowd is still fairly busy depending on the time you go! There is a kids play room and plenty of seating inside and outside. There is also a drive thru for quicker service! But the food is always the best quality! The food comes out very quick, as soon as you find a seat, the food is already coming out! The chicken is moist and delicious! The waffle fries are perfectly salted! The chicken wrap and Southwest salad are healthy delicious alternatives as well! Try the sweat tea, frozen coffee or lemonade for a great beverage with your meal! Tried this place twice. Unimpressed. The chicken is just ok, nothing special unless you don't eat good/great food often. Waffle fries cold both times and basic. The whole drive-thru experience where a person takes your order outside is a mess. Last visit, I placed my order with one guy and guy in front of me (different order taker and customer) took 10 minutes to order (no idea why) so I sat behind them waiting, and waiting more to eventually drive by him as HE tried to take my order, then get to the window for my cold food. I have to admit I was not going to spend any money at this restaurant based on their hate of the lgbtq community but my son had never been so we went.
