Dirty tables inside and out. Outside tables seem like they are rarely, if ever, cleaned. Also, if your intentions are to dine in, please be prepared to hike through the badlands/scorching Florida asphalt dessert, because the 30+ nearest parking spaces are curbside pickup only. Didn't realize that you have to make your own sandwiches after they are delivered to your table. Although the employees are some of the nicest in all of fast food, my aging father with his shaky hands would have to make the trip back to the counter and ask them to finish preparing the food. The dine in was more busy than the drive thru. We opted to dine in. The restaurant was clean as all CFA typically are. I'm so glad they brought back the regular tenders. It's the best and easiest way to place an order and pick up your food either in the drive-thru, curbside, or at the counter inside. When I arrived I decided to go inside instead and because of that, I had the pleasure to see the employees work. They are so efficient. They work so well together. They treat their customers with the utmost respect and reverence. And this is all happening during lunch hours, one of the busiest times of the day. Finally had a chance to try Chick-fil-A in town. No issues with food. We ordered 2 Chick-fil-A Chicken Deluxe and 3 kids chicken nuggets meal. The young lady who took our order through the drive thru was patient with us since the kids didn't know what to get. Surprisingly the drive thru was faster than McDonald's Drive thru. So I typically don't have issues at this location but I suppose there is a first time for everything. As I received my drink it was wet on the exterior of my cup. I made a face but accepted it. Apparently they had just wiped it with a sanitizing wipe but it did not feel/smell like it was with a sanitizing solution. Not a big deal but just a warning ahead of time would have been better than reacting to my face after touching a wet cup. Generally that doesn't reek of cleanliness. Also, upon getting home I find an item missing. Of course it's the times I don't double check my orders (which is unfortunate that I have to do that in the first place) before driving off that something is awry. The drive thru wait time here at Clermont is unacceptable, ridiculous and in need of attention. I have stopped during morning, lunch and early afternoon and it is always the same. I am a Chick-fil-A junkie so I go to various locations throughout the Orlando/ Central Florida area and I must say that the Drive through staff at this location is exceptionally efficient and friendly! The line went so fast and they made my iced coffee with less sugar just as I requested- it was PERFECT! As a regular customer I will say that Chick-fil-a has many benefits but the one thing that has a harsh impact to the environment is your styrofoam cups, plastic straws and plastic lids. Isn't there an alternative? Well if not there should be. Styrofoam cannot be disposed, but their chicken is amazing, their milkshakes are so good, and I really enjoy eating there. Major rave, pulled up to the drive in a window, had $20 bill on my leg. When I opened the window, raining hard, the wind blew my bill down the side of my seat. I have large hands and could not get to it so I told the young lady I was going to park get the money and walk In. Her and the manager said, "don't worry this one is on use". This is located in a very busy area, an area super-busy around noon on Saturday. LOVE LOVE LOVE the fact they have employees outside running the drive-thru, it makes it SO MUCH FASTER to get through talking to a person instead a semi-working speaker in a box.
