We came to this Chick-fil-a during the COVID19 situation, unable to enter the restaurant and unable to go through the drive through as we were hauling a trailer. After calling the restaurant, the manager came straight outside, took our order curbside, and had our order back out to us in 5 minutes. They are consistently super fast, even when the lines are very long, it never takes me more than a few minutes to get my food. and they have such great customer service. Food is always hot and fresh. Chick-fil-A is one of the only fast food places that I go to regularly. I like that they are closed on Sundays, usually have fantastic service and great chicken sandwiches. Military discounts are not a right, but I like to support business who support our men and women in uniform. This is the only Chick-fil-A restaurant tha I have been to that does NOT offer a discount to military members. read more

YES! Finally, a Chick-Fil-A in Columbia!! I moved here in 2009 just as the CFA in the student center on-campus closed. I found myself considering driving to Springfield just for their Chick-Fil-A. Thankfully, one opened in Jefferson City a few years back to save me some gas ... and now, gloriously and to much fanfare, I can eat my sweet peanut-oil-fried nuggets from heaven in my home city. It's still in its infancy as a franchise location here, but the staff are fast, professional, courteous, and orders can't really go wrong. The chicken tastes fresh and hot and doesn't look or smell like it's been sitting under a red light for hours. This particular location has an indoor playground, which is a plus for parents wanting 5 minutes of peace to eat their dinner. Also, the high chairs come with disposable stick-on placemats to protect table and baby from germs and grease. Pretty cool concept! read more

After ordering with the app it still took 45 mins to get our order and even then an employee had to bring it out while we waited. I understand why they don't have those kids taking orders in the freezing cold but some idiot in front of us ordered at the kiosk and took 12 mins to order. another in front of us paid with multiple debit cards. People using the app should get preferential treatment. A huge parking lot no one is using. bring the food out to people who use the app. We ordered the new spicy grilled chicken sandwich. very spicy but nothing special. won't be ordering that again. ordered large fries, probably the cheapest thing they make and the box was about 3/4 full. sad. not worth the wait. this is not a 4 star restaurant but a "fast food place" ???? Build another on the east and south sides of Columbia and they will all be full. read more

The quality of their packets are the best. I say that for 3 main reasons. The way they conceal their ketchup, honey mustard, and ranch sauce is definitely the best way to process sauces and ketchup. All companies should have this same way of concealment. read more

I am a fan of this establishment and we eat here often. I just went through the drive-thru and ordered a #6. Got to the window and the person handed me my drink and told me to pull around to a reserved spot. I then waited and waited. I didn't mind the wait as I know how busy they can get. What frustrated me was that fact that this person came out and when they got to my window said, "You didn't want any sauces with that right?" Not "sorry for the wait," or anything remotely close. I declined and they replied, "oh ok just making sure," and I went on my way. I thought the people Chick-fil-A hired are trained to mind their manners. We've always loved Chick-fil-a. But our experience here tonight was enough to cause my husband say he'll never order from here again. Having lived in several areas we've been to numerous different Chick-fil-a's. This is the first time ever in my life an employee at any Chick-fil-a has been rude. We placed an online order & drove to pick it up. Once we arrived at the speaker we were told we could NOT receive our order through the drive thru. First of, there is no possible physical way to get out of the drive thru at this point. So we were forced to go the window. We very politely asked if we could just have our order. After a couple smart mouth comments it was filled. We were told from now on we would have to come in to get online orders because they're not familiar with it. Seriously, wtf!? First of, if that's the case, there should be a notice on the app stating that fact. Second, if I felt like coming in the store I wouldn't be using the online all. I'd come in to dine. And last, if Taco Bell can have this crap down you guys should. Come on, get with the program. read more

Best Chick-fil-A location I've ever been to. Consistent high quality service and food. My food is always hot, fresh and I never have to wait longer than 2 minutes inside and 1 minute at the drive thru window. This location is on it. The friendliness is phenomenal as are most (all) their restaurants are. This location is never dirty and is always busy. I always get and 8 piece nugget with a small fry or a spicy chicken sandwich with a small fry every time I go. Food is great, but if you want to experience their legendary customer service, be sure to go inside. Their drive-up service is not nearly as good as it once was. We've had poor experiences on our last three visits......not getting all the food we ordered (and paid for), getting the wrong food and listening to the drive-up employees talk to each other while completely ignoring the paying customers. Great experience at this location. My picky eaters couldn't stop saying, "yum." My baby enjoyed chicken soup on a clean/ new highchair which made me very happy. Clean, delicious with excellent customer service! Manager came to ask us if we needed anything and refilled our fresh lemonades. I was discouraged as I walked in the door and found the line was up to the door. I figured that it would be the typical fast food 20 minutes until we got our food, but no. We were in the back of the line and it was less than 10 minutes when we got our food. Yes , they were very busy, but our experience here was a sign of a well coordinated team. Kudos to the manager on duty and to the team that takes care of the customer. I've been to many Chick-Fil-A's and this one is good overall. The store is new so it's very clean and nice looking. Be aware that the seating can be scarce at peak meal times. The drive-thru service is a bit on the slower side for a fast food place but the location is always pretty busy so I'll give them credit for handling the volume well. Service-wise, I've had some very good employees I've interacted with but also some that weren't so great. Specifically, one lady who took my order seemed annoyed that I wanted to take pickles off my sandwich and that I paid with cash instead of a card. Overall, a pretty good location with the same quality food you'd expect out of a Chick-Fil-A. Fix a small minority of the employees attitudes and this place gets a 5 star. read more
