I used to love going here they always had super fast service and the food was always hot. But the last couple times I've gone it takes forever to get through the drive thru or even get curbside. When we drove into Cookeville, EVERY restaurant was slammed and by the time we turned into Chik-fil-A's, I had resigned myself to a long drive-thru wait. Nope. Pulled up behind the other cars and quite frankly was surprised that the line moved and kept moving! Order was correctly taken by a very pleasant voice and the fellow at the window was so personable. It was so very nice because it was late; it was slammed; and just hearing a friendly, upbeat voice plus being handed our food with a smile made everything right in world, LOL. Chick-fill-A was our destination while traveling trough Cookeville, TN. In fact the selection of restaurants along the street where Chick Fil-A is excellent. We ordered the meal with the sandwich and another ordered the 12 count nugget. We were told we could have a small drink at no cost if we ordered just the sandwich and fries. We ask for the small drinks with the meal and was told that we could have a senior drink which we opted for . The senior drink was complimentary. The staff at the counter was among the most friendly we have ever seen anywhere. We ask for a refill on our drinks and the counter crew was just as courteous and friendly on a refill as with our originally order. This is a great stop. read more

So my pal and I left Los Angeles CA headed to New Jersey and we stopped by the Chick-Fil-A in Cookeville TN. I have never been so impressed by a restaurant, much less a fast food establishment with such high interpersonal skills, incredibly friendly employees and staff and pristine cleanliness. Erin at the counter was the sweetest person in the world, she greeted my pal and I with such hospitality and with an amazing smile, Jordan kept coming around our table to see if we needed a refill or anything else, and to top it off, Ben Prine - the owner and operator swung by to say hello and sparked a great conversation between us that led to an incredible time of connection. Customer service is HUGE in my book and when I notice above the top service - I have to make it known, oh and the food, obviously amazing! Also, the men's room was filthy in the exreme, making me wonder about the cleanliness of what I can't see on the back line. Today on my travels I stopped in Cookeville at 12 Noon and used the drive-thru and my order was taken quickly by an curbside employee with a tablet whom I asked about scanning my card and she said they could do that at the window. The only complaint I have for this Cookeville store is that it is so busy that the tables don't get cleaned when people leave. Stopped for a late lunch expecting them to be packed. To our pleasant surprise, they were not. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean and the those working there were very polite and professional. We ordered a chicken sandwich meal and a chicken wrap meal. Both were pretty good. Couldn't believe how busy they were. Cars backed up into the street. Still got our food super quick, everybody was extremely polite and accommodating to us and our 9 month old, and the toddler stick on placemats are a great bonus.
