The good is food quality as usual. Their drive through was not smooth. Two lanes but neither was dedicated to mobile orders. LONG wait.

I probably come to this location the most because it's close to my house and also near places I like to shop. I appreciate that they occasionally have free rewards in the app. I'm not sure if all locations do that or not. I like to place mobile orders and pick up in the drive-thru so that I earn my points in the app and for convenience. I arrived at 2:30pm and the line was overflowing a little out of the parking lot. I'm not sure if it was this busy this late in the afternoon due to people grabbing a bite while doing last minute Christmas shopping, because people's power is out at home, or they wanted to cash in their free reward before it expires tomorrow or if they're like me, all of the above. They have 2 lines at the drive- thru. Usually, there are people outside to take your order but they're not out there if the weather is too extreme, like today. I feel like I probably should have just gone inside to get my order but it could have been equally as slow since they had so many drive-thru orders to take care of. I'm not sure how they prioritize orders. It took about 30 minutes to get through the drive-thru line. read more

Literally my first time inside a Chik-Fil-A dining room, not just drive thru or food court counter! Killing time before Durham hotel checkin and grabbed a quick bite. GREAT friendly counter service, dining room clean and fully stocked paper products. Im learning, after my other limited CFA experiences: the key is visiting in between rush hours! I went to get 2 cob salads one with grilled nuggets and regular I asked for one no cheese no bacon and the other no bacon! I go to chic fi la by my job and I never have to check my bag. I go to another location and don't check my bag. This location gives me 2 salads that are completely wrong. I realize it when I get home. I call the person who answers the phone says if I have my receipt I could possible get my money back. I ask to speak to a manager and the person says that might not be possible. There are so busy. He finally says he might have a manager that I could speak with. He doesn't put me on hold I can hear everything that he is saying. The person in the phone says to the manager that I claim I have the wrong salad. I'm like I know I have the wrong salad and he could have at least put me in hold!!! Came in with my infant nanny kiddo (11 months old) and sat at a table. Got her situated with her lunch from home and ordered my lunch from the Mobile app to be delivered to our table. The app had a glitch and wouldn't complete my order no matter how many times I tried. I asked a passing by staff member for help and within a minute or two a (I assume) manager came over and offered to help. I showed him the error on the app and explained I had a little one eating. He offered to take my cash and submit my order and brought my change. That was so very kind of him! This was my first time to Chick-fil-A and I got the original chicken sandwich and it was amazing. I got the waffle fries which was amazing and the mac & cheese, my favorite and the lemonade so good and the chocolate milkshake and cookie oh my god so amazing ,but there mac & cheese was so good. But out of all the places I've got mac & cheese chick-fil-A mac & cheese is my favorite 10 out of 10 mac & cheese. And since I told them this was my first time at Chick-fil-A, They said my pleasure five times and gave me a free dessert. Ordered a chicken burrito in drive thru. Took 10 minutes to get from order to drive thru window, which wasn't enough time because they asked me to park in front of store while they heated the burrito. Can't park at front at first because all 3 spaces already taken by others in front asked to do a special wait. Eventually get space there and food after another 5 minutes. Open up package to see burrito isn't wrapped and just busted to pieces in the package. Drive thru line moved very quickly during tail end of a recent weekday lunch rush. An outdoor cashier confirmed my name and order and kept things moving. Window server confirmed my name and order again and I was out. If all you want is the original chicken sandwich, you can fly thru here pretty fast. Friendly customer service as usual. My order is always incorrect when I visit this Chick-Fil-A location. Firstly, I paid extra to get American cheese on my chicken sandwich and they didn't put any cheese. This is the worst location in Durham. My order is always incorrect when I go here, and they don't honor the newer customizations in-app. For example, if you order lemonade and add strawberries in the app, they will take the money for it but refuse to add strawberry syrup to it when you get to the window. I ordered the southwest spicy salad today with chicken, no tomatoes, add additional scoop of corn, and cheese (all of which they charged extra for). I didn't check my bag before I left but when I got home they had only put cheese and chicken on it (no the salsa or additional corn), and didn't give the tortilla strips and chili lime pepitas that comes with the salad. read more

Everything went wrong what could've gone wrong. I got there around lunch time so I was aware that it's going to be busy. There where two lanes at the drive thru and one person taking orders. Unfortunately that one person stayed in one lane instead of taking also orders from the other lane where I unfortunately was. After 5min a second person came and took care of the lane I was waiting. The weird thing is she started from the back of the lane....super odd! After she took my order I got to another stop to pay and then he had my name and order wrong and then at the window where I got my food finally they forgot my dressing. I would have like my nuggets to be a bit more sizable and not as tough. They were still good but not what I've tasted in the past. I've tried to call and let them know they screwed up my order on at least three occasions but the phone never gets picked up. Then there was he time when one of the teenage cashiers was super rude to be point her manager asked her to leave the register and served me herself. This place gives CFA a bad name. This location just opened a few weeks ago. It's Nice upgrade from the University Dr location down the street. Same Chink-fil-A menu, but inside the decor has a cool modern look. There's an indoor playground for kids as well. Since they opened recently they're very busy, especially the drive thru. I always had good food and good costumer service from Chick-fil-A, but today I took my nephew to Chick-fil-A as a treat. I orders nuggets for me and him and some extra in case we got hungry. We sat in the parking lot to eat our food and we noticed a weird smell. The food looked great upon inspection, but once we started eating it we figured out what the smell was coming from. Our food had been fried in old oil and it smelled like it was burnt but didn't look like it. A nice young lady came and said she was going to give us a refund for what we didn't eat. The manager ( or someone in a blue shirt ) came to give us our refund and when I explained what was up with the food she seemed unfazed, and said " Oh ok " , and then mumbled something and then left. read more

I came here a few nights ago and was treated terribly by one of the workers named "Kim". I believe that was her name and she was wearing a blue shirt. While I was placing an order she continued to roll her eyes at me, and ask if I could "hurry up to place my order" . Then she tapped her foot repeatedly as if I was wasting her time. I've been going to this location about once a week since they opened. Maybe I'm just a glutton for punishment because his has to the the absolute worst Chick-fil-A I've ever eaten at. The chicken is consistently dried out, the milkshakes I've had here are usually half melted by the time they get you around to the window to pick it up, the service is slow inside and out, the dining area is usually dirty and not well kept, and the staff seems poorly managed and always in a rush. To top it off this morning the drive through workers couldn't even get close to my name. First I was Sam, then at the window I was Nick. And my actual name is Ben. Plus on top of that they didn't ask or include and sauces. My husband and I went here to get dinner for our family. They shorted us a whole meal. I didn't realize it until I got home. I called the restaurant repeatedly and no one would answer the phone (this was before closing time). This was a very big inconvenience for my family. We generally never have issues with Chick-fil-A because they pride themselves on making sure the customer has everything by repeating the order, so to find out we were shorted was very shocking. This is the final straw. I am officially withdrawing my name from the Chick-fil-A hat. It doesn't make a difference which store you make a purchase it is always the same result. That take your order repeat your order, confirm your order before you pay and still give you what they want to give you. When I am having a salad I always ask them to hold the cheese, and no bell peppers. They got the cheese right this time. No cheese in my salad but all the spoilt and soggy bell peppers made a public appearance on my salad. I am st work once again O have no dinner.
