Last time I visited this place, it was a year ago and I don't remember this place being SO SLOW! Sure, any chick fil a in the area at lunch time is like going to an Easter mass. It's full of everyone and anyone BUT I came at 2:40 pm hoping no one would be at the line and inside would be a quarter full. Nope, the car line was long and inside there were two cashiers who, I guess had just started, and were taking extra extra long. The phone was ringing non stop and my visit for one spicy sandwich, no drinks or fries took about 15 minutes. Next time I'm on the go, there's no way I can stop here. Was customer service good at least? Meh, I mean sure they smiled and some guy questioned why I was standing there. Maybe I'm waiting for the cow to bring me my food? I can't say I won't go back since it's the only chick fil a near where I work BUT I most definitely know to not go back when I'm in a hurry. They've definitely got their social distancing service down -- like Cathy B mentioned in her review, I am very impressed with how this location is handling the current situation. This is known to be an extremely popular drive-through location under normal circumstances, and it was definitely still hopping when I stopped by. But they have a great system worked out to ensure as much social distancing and contact-less-ness as possible. They have workers spaced out separately (and wearing masks) to take your order, hold out a card reader for you (there is signage encouraging using the CFA app or a credit card only to pay), then when you arrive at the window to pick up your food, it's placed in a plastic tub to be held out for you so you can grab the grub. Everyone was still very friendly and pleasant, as per Chick-fil-a norm. My milkshakes took a little bit longer, so they had me pull up to the curb around the corner and ran them down to me when they were ready. I was impressed! read more

Impressed how they're handling the COVID-19 pandemic. So dining room is closed, but drive-thru is open... everyday but Sunday, of course. You will drive-thru 3 different stops and meet 3 different people. Person 1 will take your order. Person 2 will hold out the card reader and you swipe. Person 3 is at the window. They'll put your food in a plastic bin and you'll grab food bag from the bin. No touches with any of the 3 people. I was pretty impressed with the flow. It also looks like they're taking care of their employees with masks and face shields, which is great. Quick drive-thru, if it's not during a rush hour like 5-6pm dinner time. I usually love chick fil a, never had a mistake in my order and always got the sauces. Today was different. I usually get anything from a basic sandwich to nuggets or grilled sandwiches with fries or fruit or even soup. LOL who knew they had chicken noodle soup? I felt like getting carb(y) today and got a wrap, in addition to a sandwich, nuggets and fries! The chicken tasted like it went bad like ... no longer good to eat I think I have a good sense in whether a food is bad. Jokingly, I eat chick fil a pretty often and had everything on the menu before. In seriousness ish I often test my own food in a business before using and can tell very quickly with taste or smell when the food has gone bad, even with refrigeration we need to be cautious. Fast food joint? Sure. Fast food joint that tricked me into thinking it's like a real restaurant. YES! It's no wonder this place is so popular. First time to this franchise and I like!! When I placed my order, the manager hand delivered my meal to my table. Woah.... can I say restaurant like? Their infamous chicken sandwiches are no joke. From freshly cut tomatoes to crispy lettuces, it was super yummy. And I can't rave enough about their Chick-fil-A sauce, almost like sweet and sour plus honey mustard. Half way into my delicious sandwich, one of the cashier came by and asked if we wanted our drinks refilled. Wth? What great customer service and definitely made us feel waited on and that they cared about us. My only gripe is that their waffle fries could have been crispier. However, the location itself is generally quite crowded and more attention could be paid to table cleanliness. Additionally, order accuracy at the drive thru also could be improved. The food quality however, is what you would expect for Chick-fil-A so at least there's that, but otherwise it's not my first choice location. read more

Alyssa D is AMAZING. Just speaking with her brightens your day. She was very kind and bubbly. The store itself was pretty clean, and the staff were constantly sweeping and wiping tables. They have a playground for children, and many tables. However, the place was pretty packed and it was hard to find a table for 3 people. The food, as always, was good. We ordered chicken tenders, a cobb salad, and the #1 deluxe. Some cons... -- They got our order wrong, and the first two employees we approached ignored my brother and avoided him, and directed him to another employee...although they weren't doing anything (instead of a deluxe #1 they gave us a #8) --Unfortunately, they do not do "lettuce wrapped" sandwiches...so not gluten-free or carb-free friendly. read more

Good location. It is easy to get into and out of this place. I think the drive thru is pretty good with their service and speed. The employees are very polite to all customers. I think every chain restaurants should have service like Chick-fil-A! There are a few things that I crave which is why I come to Chick-fil-A. One of them is the Ice cream cone. I rarely review chains, especially Chick Fil A because the company takes its reputation very seriously and is pretty good about ensuring quality at all locations. Tip for Parents: Here's the thing I love about this location: there's a great nook for children (or adults!) who are more comfortable with fewer stimuli. Similar to a Target opening an hour before with dimmed lighting and no ambient music, there's a nook at this location with seating for six. There's a high table and a standard one. Don't go to this Chick-fil-a go to the one in Vienna instead. I am very upset, I went through the Drive-thru and the lady took my order and even repeated it back to me. I paid for my food, got to the window and the next lady said that I didn't order a second combo. I then paid for the combo and get to work to find out they didn't even give me the 2nd sandwich. I will not be going back to that location, and my recommendation would be just drive the extra 10 mins to get good service and ALL OF YOUR FOOD. Before Covid, we rarely went to this Chick-fil-A near the Fairfax Circle because it was always packed and it took too long. But during Covid, Kudos to them! Their drive-through system for pick-up is A+ and bless the hearts of all the employees that do such a great job AND always have such excellent customer service. Chick-fil-A has an outstanding drive-through system. One employee will be standing (with mask and gloves) ready to take your order, (if you have not already done so with the app.) There are always several cars in line, but it moves fast due to the excellent system they have implemented. Second, another employee (also with protective gear) will get your payment. Really fast and safe. Finally, they will quickly give you your order, fully packed at the third stop/window. They maintain their distance and everything is quick, super clean, and safe. Then, the food is excellent. The chicken is always delicious. Our favorites are the Deluxe Club sandwich and their awesome fries. The kids love the nuggets and they do not have to even have French fries with their meal, they can order the fruit salad instead, which is delicious and they like it. We love their sides, like the mac & cheese, the Kale salad is outstanding! Their frappe coffee is almost as good as their excellent milkshakes, what can I say? We give them an A+ and wish other drive throughs and pick-up services would implement similar safe standards for their customers, like Chick-fil-A has done. Great job! We go there often and consider it one of the safest drive through / pick-up options in town. read more

It's a franchise...which means everything should be the same as any other chick fil-a...yet for some reason...they advertise grilled nuggets...yet every time we order them...for some reason we always end up with fried nuggets....um what part of GRILLED doesn't make sense oh and this is at the counter not at the drive thru window. It's kind of ridiculous how at each visit it somehow gets screwed up. What's the deal chick fil-a ? I mean if it's too much effort to make some...then don't advertise for it. I don't care how busy you are it's called fast food. I love Chick Fil A. Being from CT where they are few and far between, moving to VA and having it be 1.8 miles from my house is a great treat! The staff here are very friendly and helpful. It is a nightmare location in terms of parking and drive-thru, but there are always employees out there with ipads​ and menus taking orders and payments to accommodate​ for the long lines. I have never had an issue with a single employee. They always seem genuinely happy and welcoming. They make me want to return time and time again. Don't let the hard to navigate parking lot and often long drive-thru​ lines from stopping you from enjoying the service and food at this chick fil a. They are the best of the best. read more

Chick-fil-A has their classic sandwiches, wraps, salads, breakfast items (chicken with a biscuit), and even desserts. My favorite item to always get is the Chick-fil-A Deluxe Chicken Sandwich as the chicken is nice and breaded, has the American cheese, a leaf of lettuce, pickles, and tomato slices; add some extra mayo in there, it's pretty tasty! My husband usually goes for their Spicy Chicken or their regular Chicken Sandwich (but the Spicy one is just way too spicy for me - no joke!). I love getting their nuggets, too, as they are bite-sized and little wonders for your mouth - I usually stick with the Polynesia sweet sauce. Who doesn't like waffle fries? I love them hot and fresh, and they're great dipped in ketchup, mayo, or both! We always get the 1/2 and 1/2, which is the Sweet Tea and their sweet Lemonade - yummy! Very refreshing, and I love how they give out free refills - you just have to go up to the counter for it. I was sad to hear that they got rid of the Southwestern Chicken salad, as that was my favorite (with the thin crispy tortilla strips and the honey mustard dressing). My favorite dessert is their fudge a la mode - the fudge is chewy, moist, and is very chocolate-y, with vanilla ice cream on top - a very nice treat to end your meal or to get one for the road. One thing I've noticed about Chick fil A is that their product is pretty consistent from restaurant to restaurant but the service can vary widely between stores. This particular restaurant did a great job with both when I visited during the height of the weekday lunch rush last Monday. Despite cars lined up far in the distance I was in and out of the drive thru line in 10 minutes. Very impressive and the employees with tablets in the parking lot keeping things moving probably had something to do with it. read more
