Shake shack for me has been a pretty consistent brand and experience. Located on the second level of the mall next to a playground is perfect when dining with kids. We had: hot dogs, a single cheeseburger, bacon cheese fries, onion rings and two shakes-strawberry and chocolate. I really wanted to try the chocolate marshmallow shake but knew my kid wouldn't finish her chocolate so I held back. Maybe next time! I went hear by mistake. I thought I had placed my order at the stand alone store near the Orvis and TjMaxx. In any event, I had to drive to the mall to get my on line order. It's not the easiest place to find if you're not familiar with the mall. I had to park in the garage and then call the restaurant to see where they were located. The person I spoke with was delightful. The only thing he didn't mention was it was outside the doors once you got to Starbucks. By the time I arrived, my order had been sitting for a good 40 minutes. Luckily, my milk shake hasn't been made but the food was cold. I immediately requested to speak with the manager. He was on his break unfortunately and no one else could handle my request. I waited for an additional 15 minutes for him to return. I asked if I could have my order remade. He did so without any question which I greatly appreciate. Now that location was very busy. Almost all the tables were full and more people were coming in by the minute. With that said, the restaurant was a mess and some of the workers clearly didn't want to be there from what I saw. I ordered a single bacon cheeseburger, onion rings and a vanilla shake. The bacon was undercooked and the burger was questionable. I threw it in the trash after one bite. The onion rings were decent and milkshake was pretty good. I expected better for $25. Came from another SS location which was absolute chaos. Honestly this location wasn't much better but we were able to flag down an employee to confirm gluten free ordering procedure. Inside is very cramped with only a handful of seats, more of a set-up for takeaway or eating outdoors - it was pretty dang hot and sprinkling rain so luckily we were able to grab seats at the counter looking out the window. Food was ready fairly quickly, piping hot, my burger was delicious. The starting price for a cheeseburger is about $10 and I'd say it's worth it. $3.99 for a small soft drink seems ridiculous but maybe it is in keeping for the area (?). Disappointed that they were out of the limited edition Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Shake. Appreciated the various shoutouts to Pride (employee T shirts, rainbow logo on cups, opportunity to add rainbow sprinkles to shakes). I just paid $13 for cheese fries and a strawberry lemonade and waited like 25 minutes to have my food brought to me. But that never happened. After reluctantly and.sheepishly approaching the staff, wouldnt you know it, I was met with attitude as if I wasn't patient enough. And when I finally got it, the drink had boba in it so I had to get up and approach again and wait until the none busy associates got good and ready to approach me. So sitting here choking down these dry greasy over priced French fries and this overly sweet drink in this not very clean establishment reminded me that being nice to customers is paramount and just not that difficult. My friends and I stopped by last Thursday to try the Korean-inspired menu items. It was incredibly busy, but the staff still got orders out at a reasonable time. Definitely hard to find a table, so we had to wait around a bit. KOREAN-STYLE FRIED CHICK'N This chicken sandwich comes with a pretty thick and crispy chicken breast that's been marinated with gochujang along with some kimchi slaw. I personally found the marinade to be too sweet and not spicy enough. If you didn't tell me this was Korean inspired, I don't know if I could tell. I would have thought it was a sweet BBQ sauce. There was barely any kimchi slaw in my sandwich. The bites that did include the slaw were much better. Overall, I did not get the most balanced sandwich. A couple of my friends got the KOREAN BBQ BURGER which they seemed to enjoy. There's outdoor seating and indoor seating but mainly outdoor and a really small indoor area where the kitchen is exposed. Ordered food in the app and the app says you'll be texted once your food is ready and an estimated time. I wait until five minutes past the time my food should be ready and enter the shop to inquire about my order. I ask one guy at the front (right) bout my order, he can't find it on the shelf, and makes a show of checking the new checks coming in and says, it just came in. During this time I have the chance to observe the left half of the kitchen working quickly and hustling, while staff on the right chit chat not doing anything and not close enough to the front counter to look like they want to help any of the people walking in. Yes there are kiosks to place orders, but you also have a counter to place orders and for people (like me) who need help, and it would be great if on a busy Friday that someone was there designated to help and welcome customers. The guys on the left are working hard to put together orders AND run in and out trying to deliver food, and it's just evident the right side is supposed to be handling customers but isnt. Remember you are an open kitchen and people can see what's going on. Anyways, I wait another 10 minutes. Still no text and no one calling out orders. I ask another person from the hard working left side. He finds my food on the shelf, cold from waiting 20 minutes. What a disappointment! I took my daughters for dinner tonight and wow, were we underwhelmed. I get it, this is a busy location but, come on, there is room for standards and some pride. The burgers were just pathetic. Not a hint of quality control or desire to make something that looked like a hamburger. On the good side, the fries were not bad, including the Korean spices fries. They were crispy and hot. Same goes for the shakes! They were not bad at all. The dining area could use some TLC. The garbage was overflowing and the tables were pretty gross. What amazed us was that the manager walked around from time to time asking the seated customers how the food was or if they needed anything. It was my wife's first time eating Shake Shack so we went with the original double ShackBurger paired with some fries and cookies and cream shake, and for the avocado lover, my wife got the avocado bacon burger and fries. Right off the bat, it felt like the avocado was just a garnish based on how little of it we had on the burger. We had to ask the employee just in case they left out the other half but no, it was only a few slices totaling less than a quarter of an avocado. Avoid the avocado burger and get the original, take it to go and add the avocado at home. Aside from the avocado issue, everything else was great! Consistency is hard to predict but I'd spitball the odds, if you were to come here 10 times, as being very good once; slightly above average 2 times; average 4 times; slightly below averafe 2 times; and then poor (but not terrible) once. All in all decent odds, given the area. I feel bad for Uber Eats/delivery drivers who have to zigzag through the mall to pick up delivery orders from here. read more

The food was pretty good, although I didn't realize when I ordered the shake shack burger that it automatically came with sauce. When I selected, using the kiosk, what I wanted on the burger, I wanted it in a lettuce wrap with pickles, onions and cheese. I never selected any sauce so I expected it to be just with pickles, onions and cheese. But it wasn't. It came with this sauce on it and I don't like sauce on any burgers at any time. So when I took it back to the front counter, they said oh you ordered a shake shack burger that has shake shack sauce. But I didn't realize that because I didn't select sauce. It came on it anyway. They did remake my burger but I don't think they were very happy about it. Fries were good and cooked to order and my kiwi lemonade also was very good. My mother's burger was good and she had a root beer float that she loved. Service was okay, although when it indicated that my food was ready I expected it would come directly to the table as indicated when I ordered. But when it didn't I went up to retrieve it. It was several minutes between when the text came through before I went up to the counter and by then if I had waited until it was delivered to my table it might have been cold. Shake Shack is seriously one of the best on-the-go places for good consistent burgers. I personally love the burgers, grilled cheese, and fries. Since the pandemic hit, I try to support as many dining establishments as possible. With so much uncertainty, it's nice to support while STILL being delivered the freshest foods. Not one time have I experienced my orders unsatisfactory. There was one time I ordered a well-done burger (for a child) and it was more med-well. I politely returned it during the same visit and they made it right!! If you've never experienced the shack, expect to have food items neatly wrapped and boxed, hot fries, and fresh toppings (lettuce, onion, tomatoes, etc.). Recently I tried the shroom burger. I have NEVER enjoyed a mushroom...ever. For some reason, the Yelp images made me do it...so I did! While I can say I am still not a fan, I wanted to love this so much. Shake Shack is a standard burger joint that's exactly what you'd expect. My group ordered two ShackBurgers (one single and one double), a Hot Ones chicken sandwich, and cheese fries. The total price was fair for what we ordered ($30). I ordered the double ShackBurger, and it was hot and fresh when it came out. It had a nice presentation but was average in flavor. The cheese and patties melt in your mouth, but the flavor is exactly what you'd expect--nothing too special, nothing horrible. The Shake Shack sauce didn't really add much to the flavor of the burger, and all that I really needed on it was ketchup. The fries weren't that good as they gave off frozen fries from the grocery store thrown into the oven type of vibes.
