Second gripe, when I did my mobile order, I asked for them to give me an absurd amount of oil and vinegar. And they didn't, BUT, already expecting that to be overlooked, I asked the guy for a couple to go containers so I was set. Oh and it didn't give me any cutlery, but I have some on board so no big deal. The employee that I dealt with was super nice and super professional. I ordered an Italian bowl and was able to customize my ingredients. Man, it was so good. It was also the perfect size meal for me at least. I've eaten at a few different Jersey Mike's across the country, throughout the years, and I can't really say that I've ever had a bad or subpar sandwich from them. I mean they make it right in front of you. The Jersey Mike's by my house, the workers seem mentally challenged but whatever I digress. So yeah I got back to my truck and ate my bowl, I just finished it and I drank the leftover oil and vinegar at the bottom of my bowl. No major complaints, so I don't figure you will have any either! This will always be my #3 favorite sandwich shop, only topped by a local deli in my old neighborhood called "Hello Deli" that has been in business for decades, and then of course my all time #1 fav, Quiznos! I ordered a 2 piece white , with rice and gravy , mashed potatoes and gravy , roll , banana pudding , and a soda. I was happy they gave me 2 breasts instead of a breast and wing. The breast were kind of small , but with the rest of the meal it filled me up. The chicken was okay , not juicy but not dry either. I was disappointed the batter had no honey flavor , but as I said I didn't know that they no longer put it on the batter , you have to ask for a side of honey. After I was finished my meal , I passed a gentleman at his table putting honey on his so I was like dang it ! The rice and gravy was kind of bland and so was the mashed potatoes and gravy. I did add pepper to both. The roll was your standard pre-made roll not homemade. Banana Pudding was a huge disappointment. Southern banana pudding is supposed to shine , but this tasted like out the box bland pudding with some Nilla Waffers on top and No Bananas. The dining room was clean except the drink fill area could've used a wipe down. There are some old posters of Yogi Bear cartoons and a stuffed Yogi Bear near the front counter above the Boo Boo boxes. The old style menu is behind the counter with no electronics like back in the day and specials are posted on the wall. The iconic neon sign is out front with Yogi holding a chicken drumstick. Service was okay , not Southern Hospitality , but not rude either like I've read a few others have said. It was an experience of stepping back in time , but the food was disappointing. I hope it stays in business for years to come , but personally it was a one time deal for me.

The flavor was spot on but it just seemed a little soggy to me but it wasn't off putting. Pretty good smoke flavor. They have an assortment of their own BBQ sauces on the table. Fried okra - The okra was actually delicious. I'm not sure if I got a freshly made batch that just came from the fryer but it was crispy and I loved the small bit size pieces. Collards- Huge disappointment with the greens. Give me cold or even Luke warm greens and it can ruin a meal. Flavor was off and I didn't taste any pork or turkey. It may have been in there but I didn't taste it. Slaw - Decent. Nothing you'd want to replicate at home but it does the job. Hush puppies - Also good but nothing to write home about.
