This review is for Chick fil A catering. WOW it was so amazing and so easy that I can't believe it's the first time I tried catering. It certainly will not be the last. I ordered the spicy chicken chicken sandwiches/subs, kale salad, fruit, lemonade, brownies and original nuggets with sauce for my daughter's birthday. It was all amazing. You also get plates, cups, napkins and forks. The food was outstanding. The brownies went very quickly and we had a little bit of nuggets left, but my favorite was the spicy cold chicken subs. They are still amazing a day afterwards. It was so easy too. You can order it online and I picked it up, but I would have it delivered to save even more time next time. I use a packet of their clover honey and their Tabasco sauce. I know. Not everyone can have Tabasco first thing in the morning, but don't judge Their superfood side is the healthiest fast food option out there - with a sprinkling of heart healthy nuts, poached raisins, and lightly steamed super greens. First time I tried their coffee and it ain't bad. Sitting here studying for boards again. I love that this place is so clean and friendly. I'd like to give a shout out to the Chick-Fil-A in the Home Depot shopping center. They have fast quality drive through service down to a science. There are two lines of cars at lunch time, and no less then 5 people walking around with handheld monitors taking orders and checking people out. I only waited about 5 minutes and that was with the line backed up to the Home Depot lot. The young staff is well trained, extremely polite, dressed professionally in all kinds of weather (with masks) and super enthusiastic. The owner of this franchise should be proud. I'm not one to post a lot of reviews but I feel like these young people deserve some acknowledgment. Especially in a day and age when courteous professionalism and pride in your work seems to be sadly absent at a lot of places. read more

He was charming, kind, and attentive. He seemed like he was working at Chick Fil A for years, when my friend and I asked how old he was- he's 17!!! We both had experience in the service industry and were appalled at his professionalism. I love Chick Fil A, and I prefer the Urbana Pike one EVERY time. It's more convenient and the service is much better. I am always treated like a queen *laughs* The training must be super thorough, I know the workers are young, but they hold themselves so professionally. Visiting my son, who happens to be in the military and dang if we didn't mess around and visit this CFA on a date when military members were eating for free. The line for the drive through was backed around the building and out the parking lot. People were unable to pull out of parking spaces because the drive through was so packed. They had people in the parking lots taking orders on iPads, so the line moved rather quickly and as usual CFA has the friendliest employees, you would have never imagined they were being bombarded with military members eating for free and that the parking lot / drive through was almost impossible to maneuver. This location is always super busy. But the employees here can handle a crowd with ease!!! They are always super friendly and get your order to you in no time. We came for breakfast and I ordered a 12 count nugget and food for my kids. It took 10 minutes in line before we could order and I was the third person in line. When the food came out (another ten minutes later) I opened the box of nuggets and there was a hair on top. Not just a stray hair, this hair had been fried with the chicken. I felt sick, lost my appetite and took it to the counter. They offered me a refund, but that seems a little weak. No reason to ever come back to this restaurant. The attached picture is an empty table in front of me. Disgusted. Update... my daughter finished her nuggets and found another hair, (not fried) this is disgusting. Another update, I went back up and the lady offered to bring out the manager who came out, typed in a code for a refund on my drink that I didn't touch, and walked away. Chick-fil-A never disappoints with their customer service or food quality/prep speed. The line was huge which is to be expected when one goes in during the lunch rush like I did on a Saturday afternoon. The whole process, from entering the drive thru to getting my food at the service window, took roughly 5 minutes which is incredible given the sheer capacity of customers in the drive thru entrance. All of the staff members wore masks and carried the food items on a tray to be delivered to the cars upon reaching the drive thru window. However, I was disappointed that they didn't allow customers inside the restaurant even though they advertised dine-in options on their app/website. I understand since it probably was to busy outdoors to allow a flux of customers indoors during the COVID-19 pandemic but it was still disappointing. The food was good and they made sure to give me lots of sauces for free unlike other fast food establishment. They did skimp on the fries because I noticed they gave the same amount of fries for our separate medium and large fries. All in all, a decent Chick-fil-A experience that cures any afternoon blues during this year of the pandemic. read more

I've frequented this Chik-fil-a on and off for years because of the convenience of the location, but I don't know why I bother since the staff doesn't seem to care about it's customers. This past week, we had a series of appointments in the Frederick area that were late in the day, so we decided to pick up Chik-fil-a for dinner. While they are under construction, only the drive through is open, which has been expanded to a 2 lane drive through with longer lanes. That has helped the traffic flow, but the service hasn't changed. Both times this week, I got incomplete orders. The one night, once we finally got to the window, they handed me my bag and waved me on to go. I ordered almost $30 in food and that didn't look like everything. I asked, "Is that everything" to the person standing outside and they didn't answer me, but kept basically waving me to leave. I asked 2 more times with no response from them or the person in the window. Well, when I got home, I realized we had no french fries. I live 25 minutes away, so wasn't going back. The next day, we were up there again, so decided to go again to get our fries we were shorted and another dinner. I'm always willing to give a second chance. So, we told the person standing at the order screen about the fries and she made sure they'd have 2 fries for free at the window. We placed our order and got up there again. Same person from previous night, no apology, etc. They gave us our order and we pulled away. This time, I pulled over to check. They forgot our drinks. I pulled around and had to park and walk through cars to get to the drive through. I told them they forgot our drinks. She acted annoyed with me. I told her I was frustrated because that's 2 days in a row we've had the wrong orders. Then she was like..oh sorry. I was said, "There it is, finally an apology". They could care less. I've had issues at another chik-fil-a once and they bent over backwards to fix the order and even gave us a coupon for a free sandwich on another visit. This location has horrible customer service. I will not eat here again. We have one near our home and I rather drive past where I live to go there then give this one any more business. So disappointing. My next email is to their corporate about the lack luster service here. I completely DON'T recommend this location. read more

I am a delivery driver with both Uber eats and Door Dash and I have to say the customer service at this particular location is absolutely shameful. For one, other chick fil a locations have parking spots specifically for Uber and Door dash drivers but this one does not. Now that the lobby is back up and running the order for delivery drivers take an astronomical amount of time before they are ready and on the shelves for pickup and as you stand there no one acknowledges you or makes you aware that the food is on the way or maybe a "thank you for your patience." I have worked in sales and one thing important in a customer service industry is to acknowledge the customer and make them feel as you know they are there and that you will get them what they need as soon as possible. I'm several occasions this place on Urbana Pike has been a great disappointment even having servers outside talking back to you disrespectfully when you have an issue with their lack of service skills.
