Sardi's is the family's favorite rotisserie chicken shack in the USA. This was our third location to try. It was no different than the other two locations we had eaten from. The seasoned chicken was flavorful and moist. It was perfectly roasted over fire and coal. The sides didn't take a back seat. Our brussel spouts, plantains, and black beans were so delicious. We also decided to try the seafood ceviche also and it did not disappoint. The fish fillets, scallops, octopus, and shrimps were fresh. The marinade was tart and it was so cohesive with the sweet harmony kennels, sweet potato, and roasted corn kennels. My wife was literally drinking the marinade. Possibly one if the best ceviche we had in a while. Prices were reasonable. Counter service was friendly and efficient. Small private parking lot was available. read more

The Peruvian grilled chicken here is excellent, and so were the 2 sides I tried - black beans with rice, and roasted brussel sprouts with carrots. She failed to give me the drinks the company paid for and started blaming me for being a thief and cussed me out in Spanish. I understand Spanish. We will not be ordering there again. Consistently good! Everytime and now that they are on Uber eats even better! My go to is the quarter or half chicken, yellow sauce, arrow con chaufa and green beans. If you want feeling fancy and want dessert I would hands down recommend the banana pudding- OMG is it good!!! read more

Don't get me wrong, the food has always been very good and I will miss going to this location, but tonight was the last straw! A customer should get what they request (within reason) and tonight that did not happen. I went into the restaurant at around 6pm, no line, and I ordered a three piece dark meat. I specifically requested three thighs since I DO NOT like drumsticks. I was immediately told that their policy was that I have to take a drumstick. I offered to pay an upcharge to get three thoghs but was again quoted their policy. Their food is not cheap and if I am paying top dollar, I expect to get what I like, not what their :policy" says. I didn't bother to ask for a manager since everyone working there was hearing the conversation and nobody stepped up to resolve a simple issue. Whatever hapopened to "The customer is always right"? I am sick and tired of places like this being so rock hard on policy! Its BS! Until this, my family had been regular customers there but no more, I am done. Great food, wonderful customer service! If my family is looking for a good rotisserie chicken meal, we go to Sardis. This restaurant is located in a small strip mall by Home Depot and warehouse cinemas. Walking in the rotisserie chicken is on display and constantly cooking. The inside itself is always kept very clean and well-stocked. Onto the food. The size of servings are always more than enough for the price. I would highly recommend getting the black beans with either the white rice or the fried rice, they are divine. the sauces that they stock are also great. We always leave Sardis well fed and we never feel gross like you might after eating fast food. Sardis is in our top 10. read more

My husband and I had a long day at work and placed an order for pickup here, one of our favorite spots. Had a few issues recently with ordering online at Sardis, such at wait times being inaccurate and orders not going through to the restaurant so we came early to make sure it went through. When we arrived, the team member said that what we ordered was no longer available and there was nothing they could do. A manager overheard and offered to fully refund our order and gave us a free replacement meal with the same sides we ordered (but not the entree as it was out). He even threw in a free soda! I'm telling you, we come here for the food all the time as it is that good. However, this interaction really makes me want to bring my business here more as this manager went way out of his way to take care of us. He had no idea the day we had and this was such a nice gesture. Will be back read more

Wow! This is my first time tasting Peruvian food, and I am loving it so far. I'm sure I got the basics and haven't got the full flavor of this delicious cuisine. My order was: Chicken Empanadas: 3 's only because I was hoping for more of an authentic "Granma makes them like this" bite. But they were still good. I would order again. Pollo Saltado: 3 's I'm sure the steak it the right way to go but unfortunately red meat just isn't a dear friend to me. If I could request, I would probably ask for dark meat for this dish. But still enjoyed the gravy, tomatoes and onions. But the RICE!!! I loved it, it was just plain white rice but the way it was prepared is my favorite way to have rice. Plain rice is appropriate because you have the flavor from the main dish to be complemented by the rice. IYKYK. 1/2 Chicken Pollo a la Brasa: 4 's this was flavorful! And juicy, not dry at all especially for the white meat. The meat for me came right off the bone, tender to perfection. The Fried Yucca! First time having and Love this stuff now, I'm glad this place did not disappoint or scar me into not liking it. I truly hate when a particular cuisine or dish is ruined from the first impression and most of the time not intentionally. There was this side of diced tomatoes and slice red onion marinated in a citrus goodness. 4 's on the serving portion for delivery, love when places feed good. Sardi's food is pretty good but not sure I can say the same about their customer service. I ordered 1 and 1/2 chicken and asked for 2 large yucca (pictured) which they put in 4 small containers and called it a "large". Their large fries/yucca usually comes in a white box. When I questioned the cashier about it, she said this is a large. That they "changed" how they pack their large yucca. Feeling like I got played there. They packed the little that was left in the tray that held the yucca and instead of asking me to wait for a fresh batch or if I wanted to choose another side, they said they changed their packaging. read more

Sardi's never disappoints. The chicken is juicy and flavorful in EVERY bite. I usually order a 1/2 chicken and double chaufa as my order so that I have leftovers for the next day or let's be real...later the same day. This was my first time having white rice and brussel sprouts. WOW! I'll have to order extra sides from now on because I can't decide between two. I did get extra sides of chaufa and plantains just because they're too damn good not to get. I have yet to eat anything I did not like from this restaurant. Ordering online was EASY! One of the easiest online ordering experiences I've had. I've eaten at other Sardi's locations throughout the DMV and this is hands down my absolute favorite. I added two whole chickens (dark meat only since we'd have a total of six chickens) to two family specials (two chickens and five large sides) because we wanted leftovers! I ordered online that am, and when I called to double check my order hours before they went out of their way to make sure it was precise! Then when I picked it up at the scheduled time it was freshly packaged, and they helped me carry it to my vehicle. I highly recommend their Arroz Chaufa (Peruvian Fried Rice), Brussels Sprouts and Carrots, Fried Plantains, Green Beans and Roasted Veggies sides, but honestly all their food is amazing! The chicken is seasoned so well you don't need sauce but you can't go wrong with Aji Amarillo Aoli, Alabama White, Mumbo, Sardi's Q (BBQ like) or Honey Mustard (all mild)... they let you select plenty! The restaurant is very clean, open, and airy. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and answered all my questions. The quarter chicken is tender, and cooked through. All the sides looked fresh and recently cooked. I tried the fried rice and mixed vegetables. The portions are large, and the meal was just as good leftover. Everybody raves about their chicken (and they're right to do so), but I found something else on the menu that's the bomb and I can't bring myself to order anything else whenever I come to this place. It's the seco de carne with cannelloni beans. It's beef short ribs braised in this other-worldly sauce goodness and paired with the most deliciously bean side dish ever. The rice just soaks up all this yumminess and you just can't get enough (I'm drooling as I write this). Anyway, yes the chicken is excellent but the seco de carne is beyond that. The meat gets so fall-off-the-bone tender. I don't know how they do that. The onion salad has this strange herby flavor that just goes perfectly with the beef. It's. Just. So. Good. Ok. EDITTED* Thank you to the owner who reached out and fully explained to me. if it was not for such a kind well spoken gentlemen i would not take the time to even edit this post. not sure if i may return, but kudos to this man for his professionalism. i meant to order 1/4 marked price of 8.95$ (mistakenly ordered 1/2 a dark meat chicken ) with two sides and came out to be charged 11.50$. does my image not look like 1/2? i came up to ask them to make sure i got the correct items. i don't mind being charged more if i actually got more, but to give me a condescending attitude about it? that's not how you correct miscommunication with a customer. i work in a restaurant for years and i would never give any customer such attitude. i have not been back here for so long and to have to witness this today is completely disturbing. i will never step foot in this place again . train your employee to smile and able to correct miscommunication a couple dollars won't hurt your business but a bad attitude cost you this review. two stars for your food. read more

As always the service is fast the line moves quick, you get to see the chefs in action cutting the Birds up, Birds getting roasted and what have you! As always you have to get the "Green" and "Yellow" Sauce, just adds to the already AMAZING flavor of the Chicken. Probably the juiciest well seasoned Chicken I've ever had and the Sides are just as good, the Green Beans with the Onions so delicious, the Coleslaw isn't all watered down, its sliced up perfectly and the bites are perfect. I really enjoy this place in Frederick. My co-worker and I luckily beat the lunch rush. Your first time there can be overwhelming since there are so many options. I got 1/4 chicken with rice and beans and plantains. It was delicious! They were also generous with the sauce and gave me three! I had leftovers when I finished as well. When we got there the line wasn't long and we were helped immediately. There is plenty of space to sit. The only thing I missed was the horchata which they didn't have at the time I was there.
