I've never had a bad experience at Chick-fil-A until today, which made this especially disappointing. We came to celebrate my daughters making honor roll--they specifically wanted Chick-fil-A ice cream. The cones we received were noticeably undersized, and when I politely asked the manager (Logan) to fix it, he engaged in a back-and-forth with me in front of my kids and my mom instead of simply resolving it. After going back and forth, he made a last-ditch effort to fix it--but showed no genuine care for the situation. Even after learning we were celebrating their academic achievement (honor roll), there was no acknowledgment or engagement. What should've been a quick, positive moment turned into an uncomfortable experience. This was far from the "second mile service" Chick-fil-A is known for. Please explain why I have to get out of my car, bring my children into the restaurant to get unsalted fries? Staff are too heavy handed with the salt therefore I ask for fries with no salt. Heavy rain, cold, my 78 year old mother, and 4 year old grandchild have to get out of car for unsalted fries. Please change this. There is always a line which means fries are constantly being cooked and not take five seconds to set unsalted fries aside in the drive thru. Fredericksburg is the ONLY site that refuses to give no salt fries. And by the way- the 4 year old refused to eat he fries bc they were too salty. read more

The food was fresh and tasted great. The place was well supplied and clean. There is a fun play area for children 4ft and under. Catherine was super friendly to my child and brightened the day with a sticker. Additionally, I made a minor mistake on my order and was willing to pay the difference to correct it. But they corrected the order at no additional cost even though they did nothing wrong. Great service! read more

Food was great. No issues, 5 stars. Using the mobile app/line is supposed to be quicker and bypass the line. What a joke at this location. They still do it in order. The person placing the order next to me via the employee received their order before me and they were the 4th car in line compared to me being the only car. We were driving down from PA to NC and stopped here for breakfast. As soon as we walked inside the building the staff were amazing. The manager had great energy and was very attentive. The chicken for anything is awesome. The chicken nuggets, tenders, filet from the sandwich is unstoppable. Sauces is good I recommend Polynesian sauce, and Chick-fill-A sauce. We were doing our drive up to Maryland and had almost two hours to go and traffic had been bad. I was getting tired, my legs and lower back were protesting the drive and my passenger had to use the restroom. I was not traveling with Honey this time so was the driver and not the sleeping passenger. Either case, this was our cue to head off the highway (I-95N) and hopefully take a short break. With multiple options to choose from, we both voted for Chick-fil-A. It was pretty large and had the drive thru going on, but since we needed to use the restroom and stretch the legs, we opted to go inside and order once we noticed people sitting inside. Pulling to one of the parking space to the side, there were clearly marked signs that requested all pedestrians to use the crosswalk to ensure visibility for those ordering through drive thru. Safety is important and Chick-fil-A has such a good reputation for doing what's right. FYI - masks were not required if vaccinated, and they had lots of options if still concerned. There were very few but some with masks, but they also still have take out options, and you can use the app to order and pick up drive thru, etc. I could have been out of it (highway hypnosis and pandemic brain) but it took a few tries with the cashier on what we wanted. After our order, we noticed we didn't have any of the Chick-fil-A sauce . . . Hello?! One of the main reasons we come, and wanted to add to our sandwich and even for the waffle fries. Food came out quick enough, and when we left to our car, we noticed the drive thru line was now multiple lanes which meant to reverse out of our parking space was going to be very difficult. Figured we would stretch our legs some more and walk around a bit. And truth be told, I wanted to see if I may have perhaps missed a sign to indicate not to park here, but there were none, except that you can join the team as was hiring like many other fast food restaurants. The lines for the drive thru was quite long and naturally Chick-fil-A was responding accordingly by having more lanes for orders. Not so great for me and the other customers who parked in the spaces by ordering. Reversing was a slight pain since not only was the car two spaces down trying to leave via re erasing too, another car on my opposite side was too yet we had cars blocking us and when they moved forward, the next drivers behind were simply dreaming of their meal and moved forward and continuing the block. Let's say that since it's the NBA Finals, they had a great defense strategy to block and shots to get back on the highway. After the outer most lane diminished, we quickly reverse and then was stopped by an employee who was directing traffic for the 2nd lane to proceed. When we finally got to pass we saw the pick up lanes and knew they were also operating efficiently.what we also noticed was the ample parking spaces on that side of the building. Too bad we weren't aware of it as it would have also enabled a much faster departure from their premise and require more walking to stretch my legs. My chicken sandwich had no pickles nor anything else but then again when I ordered the Meal #1 and just the sandwich which my son said entree, I now know wanting just the "sandwich" is the entree. Learned a new thing. There's a reason why people go to Chick-fil-A and rather be in line than the other restaurants nearby. read more

I live closer to another Chick fil A, but that one always messes up, so I go a little further when I want a Market salad, to another nearby Chick-fil-A (we have a whopping 6 of them in Fredericksburg). Shouldn't be surprising since Chick-fil-A sauce was invented right here in Fredericksburg! My favorite Chick-fil-A location really dropped the ball today. I ordered a market salad on the app, with no blue cheese and a cold fillet. I always get the same exact thing. I ordered a good 15 minutes before I arrived, waited in the drive-thru, and still had to pull up curbside, to wait for it to finish. They brought it out and walked away. I saw that it had a hot filet on it, which I don't like, because it wilts the salad. No big deal, but I got back in the drive thru, let the attendant know, pulled up to the window, let them know...and they had me pull curbside a second time. They bring it out, the attendant starts to walk off... I said, "Please just wait right there while I check it". No apples. Not one apple on a salad that is supposed to be made with just apples, strawberries and blueberries (in addition to chicken). In total it's now been a 40 minute ordeal for a salad with no cheese, from a company that only makes chicken, waffle fries and salads mainly, and prides themselves on their accuracy and speed. She said, "I can get you some apples if you want". If I want? It comes standard with apples. All I requested was no blue cheese. Yes, I want the rest of the salad toppings I'm paying for. I instead request that she send her manager out, because they definitely are not checking for accuracy at the window. I have now waited in the drive-thru twice, waited curbside twice, and not that it was their fault, but I was in a wet bikini, after being at the pool all afternoon, and needed to get back to let my dogs out, and this was taking entirely too long. The manager came out and made me a third salad, which fortunately was made correct. He also told me to hold onto the second salad, and gave me two coupons for two free meals. So I guess I can't complain. I know, first world problems... I was just hungry and grouchy, and expecting a speedy, accurate drive thru experience. If you are in a hurry don't do mobile pickup. They have two regular lanes and one mobile pick up that all have to feed through one line and it is a complete traffic jam. If I had or known we would have picked up inside. When they brought the food they dropped one of the bags with nuggets and Mac n cheese so had to get another. When we started back on our drive realized they gave us a circular container of grilled chicken instead of Mac n cheese. read more

On our most recent road-trip from NOVA to Lake Anna for a weekend of camping, we needed to stop for some supplies at Walmart and within the same shopping area was Chick-fil-A. As at most locations, the drive-thru line was long, so we ventured inside. The line moved quickly, and staff was friendly as always. One of my favorite things about Chick-fil-A is that they have diet Dr. Pepper, which happens to be my soda of choice. I don't know any other fast food establishment that offers this soda. I ordered grilled nuggets and the waffle fries. I wish the grilled nuggets were larger in size, but they are tasty nonetheless. I absolutely love the waffle fries, especially when hot, which these definitely were. My favorite sauces are the sriracha and the Buffalo. The bathrooms were also notably clean and well-stocked. I'd stop back here again if I find myself in the area. read more

Entered the wrong order and when I took it to the front to have it corrected i got dirty looks from no less than 3 (different) staff before someone acknowledged me. The food was quick and tasty. Russell is amazing at customer service! My 5 year old dropped his full drink on the floor, and Russell was so quick to help without making me feel bad that my kid had made a mess. He was walking around during lunch with sanitizing wipes, greeting folks, and problem solving any issues. Paul the host was also amazing- he walked around offering mints to folks at the tables, cleaning up, and lending a hand wherever needed. We've had a great experience at the Southpoint Chick-fil-A today and will be sure to go out of our way to return to this location because of the outstanding customer service, overall friendliness and cleanliness here. I fully appreciate this location's patriotism as flags representing the military branches have been hung (possibly for Memorial weekend) as well as a table set to honor those MIA. WORST Chick-fil-A experience ever. I ordered a #5 Bacon egg and cheese meal at the drive through. Brand new location and there was no one in line, so I'm appreciative. However, my sandwich was thrown together in between an English muffin -not a biscuit. The cheese wasn't melted and the sandwich looked a mess. I gave it back to the young lady servicing me and explained that the sandwich is supposed to come between a biscuit. She takes my sandwich back and few seconds later hands me something wrapped up like a sandwich. Something told me to take a look at the item before I left. I opened it up and it was just a biscuit- no egg, cheese or bacon inside When I showed the girl what was inside she actually chuckled...?! I said to her "oh, this is funny to you? Take this nonsense and give me money back". I will not be returning to this location. This place gives Chick-fil-A a BAD reputation. Stopped at this location on a road trip, what a mistake. I have never been so disappointed with a Chick-Fil-A location in all my years eating at them. Made a very simple order of two basic chicken sandwich combo meals. It took over 15 minutes to get my food while watching other people who ordered after me with way larger orders get their food. On top of the fact that my drinks were only filled 3/4 of the way full. And after telling the cashier twice that I wanted unsweet tea, I was still given sweet tea. read more

The young lady at the drive thru lied to me she says that "unfortunately they no longer had the ingredients to make breakfast" why lie and not just tell the truth. I understand they trying to enforce their policy, however, they need to enhance their computer system to not allow customers to place the order. Ryan you are a rockstar! After sitting in traffic for an hour from Richmond to here, I saw the exit sign & got off. My usual travel time of 5.5 hours started off with a piece of fruit & glass of orange juice, so here was the perfect place to fuel up healthy wise. My cashier was Ryan & he gets 10 starts for being such a trooper in making sure my salad was full of fruit & veggies & no meat. He even to ask his team leader to assist him in making sure he was ringing me up correctly. While my food was being prepared I stepped to the Ladies Room & kudos to the team who are responsible for the upkeep! I returned & my salad, diet lemonade & waffle fries were waiting on me. This is my particularly favorite Chick-fil-a because when it's pretty much the halfway point between DC and Virginia Beach. As soon as I see the Fredericksburg sign, I start jumping excitedly in my seat because I know that the promise of sweet, sweet chicken is near! A lot of people feel the same way about this particular Chick-fil-a because it is always super crowded. Do yourself a favor and get out of the car, stretch your legs and order inside -- it's a whole lot faster than waiting in the drive through. My go to order is a medium waffle fries and fried chicken tenders. My fingers swell up from the sodium and I'm racked with guilt from supporting a company with discriminatory beliefs...but man do they make great chicken. read more
