Loved this place! A friend pointed it out when we drove by it and I was craving something Mediterranean yesterday. The staff is very friendly and the food was great! They bring out fresh pita with a dipping oil and the rest of the meal came out pretty quickly too. I got the chicken shawarma platter, a side salad and spinach pies. The chicken was seasoned really well and so tender. I really wish they'd add a mezze platter as an option. There were so many things I wanted to try from the appetizer section of the menu. It was a lot of food for one person but now I've got leftovers for another meal. Will definitely go back to try other dishes!

I have mixed feelings about this place..There was no one there the first time we went. The bartender said it was because of the snow. The Pinktini was nothing to write home about the Mixed kabob platter was fantastic! All of the reviews raved about the flavor and they have it but the service is lacking. We have only sat at the bar but there's ample seating. Both times we came there were no other patrons but the service was lacking. The lamb was very chewy, deserts were frozen and even though they said they were open they cleaned around us even mopping the floor behind our seats and under our feet.FYI:The smell of strong cleaning products around food isn't appetizing at all!

It was surprisingly quiet for a weeknight, but the atmosphere was bolstered by their half-price bottled wine special, which was a great find. The restaurant offers an expansive menu with a lot of variety. I'd recommend staying focused on the Mediterranean specialties. I had the spicy hummus which was smooth and came with a side of olive oil, and the falafel platter--served with rice, tahini, and fresh vegetables--hit the right notes for a traditional meal. While also offer items like pizza, pasta, etc. The service was a highlight; both the staff and the fellow guests at the bar were incredibly welcoming and friendly. It's the kind of place where the people make you feel right at home. In terms of value, the pricing is very fair for the portion sizes and quality of the food. Unfortunately, the evening was dampened by a persistent, unpleasant sewage smell throughout the bar area. It was significant enough to make the dining experience difficult and overshadowed what would have otherwise been a very pleasant meal. #Enjoygoodpeople

If you are coming through or are local STOP here. WOW, genuinely we would drive from Richmond to eat here. The food is phenomenal. The menu is large but everything we had was amazing. Rasha is an amazing server as well. Some of the best service we have had in a while. The dining room was clean and welcoming. Stop debating where to go with your family and come here-NOW.

We went to Aladdin and it was amazing! We had the chicken and gyro rice bowls and they were so filling and tasty. The naan and avocado hummus was wonderful while we waited for dinner, although not long because we had a fantastic server named Alexa. She was very attentive and friendly making sure everything was good. The restaurant is a relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere with light music and can be enjoyed by all. Go today!

I went here for dinner and the whole place was empty aside from one other table. It was almost 8pm on a Wednesday, so that's probably why. The road work they're doing isn't helpful either, I'll say. I got one of the new Mediterranean bowls, similar to Cava, and it was delicious! They have us plus and olive oil to start, which the spice blend was not the best, but I ate it anyways. In my bowl i got rice, chicken, and tzatziki. It came with two fried pita chips and bit was it tasty! In comparison to Cava it's hard to say. Cava has so many different toppings with theirs, but this one was just as good, just not as customizable. If I'm in the area I would definitely go back! Our server was very nice, a little quiet, but definitely efficient!

It's been a hot minute since I last ate here. But I'm glad I came back. I opted for the bowl of the day (chicken, spicy hummus, rice, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, pita chips and olives) and the hummus platter to start with. The hummus was SO GOOD. I should have just ordered the platter as a starter for me, not to share. I could have easily eaten it all myself. Service was great throughout, until we finished the meal. Our server was nowhere to be found and it took almost 20 minutes to get the check. Minor issue, just annoying. Plenty of seating room inside, and ample parking in the lot outside. The menu has a decent variety; give it a try if you haven't. 3.5 rounded up.

Delicious food, prepared fresh, displayed nicely in a comfortable, spacious unrushed atmosphere. Attentive, engaged wait staff too.

New to the area, and what an amazing experience!…read more From the outside, the restaurant looks smaller than it actually is, but once inside, it's surprisingly spacious with a warm, traditional Sicilian atmosphere that immediately makes you feel welcome. Our waiter, Jack, was an absolute superstar. He was knowledgeable, attentive, funny, and incredibly helpful with our selections. He truly made the evening special. We started with the calamari and a salad with goat cheese, walnuts, and pomegranate unfortunately, I can't remember the name of it, but it was absolutely delicious! The complimentary bread served with their infused olive oil was outstanding and worth mentioning on its own. For our entrées, my husband and I both ordered specials the Lobster Ravioli and the Halibut. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We also enjoyed an excellent red blend wine. By that point, we had enjoyed enough wine that I completely forgot to take photos of the specials! We finished with the cannoli special dessert, which was good, though not quite as memorable as the rest of the meal. Most of all, we can't thank Jack enough for the great service, laughs, and overall experience. It's rare to find food and hospitality that work together so perfectly. We'll definitely be back very soon!

I've become a tougher reviewer over the years because food is expensive, and if I'm paying for a…read moredining experience, I expect more than "good enough." I've been to this restaurant before, years ago, and I probably would have said it was good. Sadly, today's visit was awful. This is often presented as Fredericksburg's version of upscale dining, but it just isn't. The pasta tasted store-bought, the flavor profiles were flat, and the tomato sauce was overwhelmingly acidic. The mozzarella appetizer with lemon butter? Absolutely not. It felt like I was eating a culinary mistake from the 1970s. It looked like a grilled cheese sandwich covered in sauce and drenched in lemon butter. Nothing about it worked. The arancini was forgettable. My dining partner couldn't even finish the lasagna. It was extremely over-sauced, sloppily presented, and tasted only a small step above something you'd buy frozen at the grocery store. To be fair, the Pomodoro was the only dish at the table that was reasonably enjoyable. However, even that felt overpriced for what was presented. When you're charging premium prices for a simple pasta dish, I expect exceptional ingredients, technique, or house-made pasta. This wasn't that. It felt like a basic pasta dish with a premium price tag attached to it. Maybe my expectations were too high based on the restaurant's reputation, but at these prices, "decent" simply isn't enough. The lone bright spot was our server, who was attentive, friendly, and apologetic. Honestly, the service is the only reason this review gets a star. If I were rating the server alone, it would have been three stars. The atmosphere didn't help. It was cold inside the restaurant, extremely loud, and the lighting seemed to have an identity crisis. One minute it was dim, the next it was bright. If there hadn't been so many elderly people dining, I might have thought I had accidentally wandered into a rave. I couldn't hear my dinner partner without leaning across the table. Even our server apologized and mentioned that it's not usually that loud. I left genuinely disappointed. If you've never ventured beyond Fredericksburg, you might consider this fine dining. But if you've experienced great Italian food elsewhere, you'll likely know there's a significant difference. Significant. Unfortunately, this visit missed the mark on nearly every level.

Now, let me be clear: Nicole the bartender is the sole reason this place isn't getting the kind of rating you give a broken lawnmower. She was thoughtful, attentive, and smiled like she actually meant it--which is rarer in restaurants these days than a Baptist drinking a margarita in public. But then the food showed up and dragged the whole evening back down the hill. The flatbread pizza was so thin I'm convinced the crust started life as a Nabisco cracker. It was edible, in the technical sense. The calamari, on the other hand, was about 85% breading--looked like somebody dumped a bag of fried socks on a plate. Not greasy, I'll give 'em that, but mostly just a pile of extra coating searching desperately for a squid. So, yes, Bravo did better... but only because Nicole held the rope while the rest of the meal dangled over the cliff.
