This CFA is poorly managed. The drive thru is dysfunctional. After all these years, I thought they would have gotten it together. You have the young employees outside no matter the weather. Smh. It really doesn't make the process any faster. The drive through is one lane and you cant drive out.. you're stuck. The drive thru used to have a window . Now its a sliding door, where they walk up to your car. The employee not sure if she was new but was so slow, they weren't busy or rush hour. I sat in drive thru for 20 minutes. My food wasn't hot, and I couldn't go back. I know theres mobile features I can use but from what I saw they were backed up too.. Avoid.. The Gaithersburg or Rockville are better options. read more

Came through the drive thru at 9:30am on a Monday. The line wasn't too long and we were through in about 8 minutes. Service was quick and efficient. The chicken, egg and cheese biscuit was AMAZING. This Chick-Fil-A was certainly a great one. Obviously, the food was nice, but what Id really like to annunciate here is the service and the staff. I pulled up to the drive through and there was a guy in a full winter coat with gloves on (it was probably 40 or so/less degrees outside), meaning he was already cold. However, that guy, was incredibly nice. My father and I had some relatively annoying requests for our meals, and the service there was great. There were also probably anywhere from 15-40 total cars in this drive through (it was lunch time, about 2 or late 1) and I got my food in probably 5-10 minutes. Very quick. SAVE YOUR MONEY!! BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION!! On 11-06-2023 I went to Chick-Fil-A 19945 Century Blvd, Germantown, MD 20874 for dinner. I went inside to get my food. After ordering my food and went home to enjoy it. Well NOT AT ALL. After eating my fries, I begin to eat my chicken strips and right before I was getting ready to bite it, I noticed something weird hanging from the sauce. I looked closer and noticed a piece of hair sticking out from under the breading. It made me nauseous and I got upset, so I contacted the restaurant and asked for a manager. A lady named Brittany said she was the manager. I told her what happened and she said oh no that's not good I'm sorry about that. I expressed to her how frustrated I was because this was my dinner. She then said how about a refund for the entire meal and you don't have to bring the food back. I said okay. I ended up going to bed upset because this is not my first time encountering an incident with this location. On 11-07-2023 I contacted the restaurant again to speak with another manager. The man who answered said he was a manager. I old him the situation and he was immediately apologetic and said this should not have happened. I told him that Brittany refunded my entire meal, but I was disgusted with the situation. He then stated he would put my name down so that the next time I visit I could get another meal for the inconvenience I experienced. Tonight I went through the drive-through line. I told the gentleman my name was taken for what happened yesterday. He contacted the manager on the walkie. As he watched through the window the manager searching for my name. The manager called back on the walkie and asked what my name was and what did I order. The young man told me to proceed through the line to keep it flowing. He said they will take care of me at the window. NOT TRUE.. When I approached the drive-through window the guy asked me are you RHONDA I said yes he said you were refunded your money yesterday and you don't get anything else. I told him the manager said to come and get a complementary meal. Then he asked me if I wanted to speak with the manager. This is where all that chick-fil-A stand for went right out the window when the manager Greg approached the window, he was immediately rude and obnoxious. I began to tell him about the conversation with the manager earlier, that I will be contacting the Health Department to report this because this isn't my first time having an issue. He then stated you got refunded, now you here for free food and you threatening me with contacting the health department. I politely told Greg I was not threatening him. Period!! I told him I was going to file a complaint against the restaurant because it's not sanitary at all. He rudely said it doesn't matter. I already spoke to Brittany and she told me she refunded your money, you are not getting free food, go ahead and contact the health department then proceeded to walk away. I drove off. Great customer service and the food was comparable to other locations. What drove me crazy is the parking situation. I tried to park in front of the restaurant not realizing the cars blocking my way were all in line for the drive through so I was stuck waiting until they inched forward at a snail's pace. Chick-fil-A really stepped up during COVID. I have fast food cravings every now and then so I wanted to do a rotation between different fast food restaurants, but unfortunately no other fast food restaurant implemented the touch less service that Chick-Fil-A did. All Chick-Fil-A employees are in all PPE, they don't take your credit card to pay you swipe your own card on their portable paying machines which are also touch less, they hold it for you while you swipe, they then pass you your food in baskets. The food and friendliness of the restaurant have not changed since before COVID. They are extremely nice, and the food is still perfectly crafted. What also didn't change was the long line for the drive-thru. But that is to be expected as they closed their in-restaurant service. Chick-fil-A due to safety concerns will be the only fast food restaurant I will be frequenting unless the other fast food restaurants step up their safety game. read more

This is the worst Chick-Fil-A I have ever gone to. Not just once, but three times now. I went back both times after management said my issues were just one-off and would not reoccur. They get the orders wrong, they don't deliver the food to the table, and their in-house management has no interest in resolving issues. My latest time I ordered via the APP and was told 8-14 minutes. After 16 minutes with no update indicating food was on the way, I went to the counter. Guess what!!! My food was sitting there on the counter. The soup was lukewarm, the sandwich was cold, and the ice had all melted from the tea and it was warm!!! Just so you understand I eat at Chick-Fil-A ALOT and no other location EVER has an issue with getting the right food to me in a timely way. read more

Love and hate relationship with this particular location. Love because it's near to my place and hate because the drive-thru gets insanely crowded. The times I've been here I avoid the outside chaos at all cost and just head inside for my order. I appreciate the fast service with their iPads to take orders while standing in line which speeds up the process x 10. The staff here are always quick to get the orders out and I don't think I've ever waited longer than 3 minutes for my food for how busy they get. I have a love/hate relationship with Chick-fil-A. I love the food, the price, and many variations of their delicious chicken but I hate the location of every Chick-fil-A. Chick-fil-A is the Trader Joes of fast food world where they seem to pop one up in the most unorganized parking lot. There's almost always a line here, whether you're in the drive-thru or in the restaurant. Most times I do just bear through the drive thru but on the rare occasion that I am inside the restaurant, it has been clean and the staff has been very attentive with refills and just checking up on you to see if you need any extra sauce, etc. The drive thru is tight but you gotta do what you gotta do to get some decent cheap fast food. They always have employees outside that are taking orders from multiple cars at once. I've been coming here for years and never once have they gotten my order wrong. Recently, I discovered the world of Chick-fil-A salads and I swear I'm never turning back (unless they bring spicy chicken nuggets..corporate I hope you are reading this). I got the spicy southwest salad without tomatoes and with avocado lime ranch. The salad is fresh. The chicken is spicy. The avocado lime ranch needs to be injected in my veins with an IV. As long as they continue to serve fresh food and manage their drive thru properly, I will continue to come back. read more

This is probably my first time trying Chick Fil A and I must say that I like this place. We ordered almost every variation on the menu, waffle fries, and the chicken nuggets, and everything came out well. We came here on a Saturday at lunch and it was busy. I was shocked how busy it was. It was packed with people, line outside for the drive through, and all of the tables and seats were taken. They were still able to handle the foot traffic, which is great. I did not feel like I was waiting a long time for our food. The one thing I noted was that there was someone walking around and asking whether everything is alright or if we needed anything. I do not know if they do this everyday or if it is only for this particular location, but that was a nice touch and pretty much unheard of for any fast food establishment. Props for that one occasion. Parking is plentiful as it is in a huge shared lot. They will definitely see me again. read more

1:00 pm on Saturday, 6/13/2020. During COVID-19. I just placed a mobile order for lunch. There were no available spaces so I went inside instead. I explained the situation and that I was willing to wait. What I observed by patrons was absolutely despicable. Customers were so incredibly rude to the staff and treated them like trash. If you can't be kind, then stay in your house & cook. They are working so hard to serve us as quickly as they can and do not deserve to be treated so horribly. Who gives a flying frick if you paid extra for your ranch dressing, how about you be polite and ask for it, don't throw a fit that it wasn't placed it your bag as 25 other bags were being distributed to other customers. If you can't treat others as you want to be treated, be patient and kind, then literally - go f*ck yourself. The staff here is doing a stellar job and is moving quickly. All were wearing masks and moving about with their heads held high and answering questions to every guest as they were being asked. Bravo. I could tell the stress levels were high but during what I observed, they were handling everything with poise and high levels of customer service. Our food was hot, the drinks were filled to the brim with the perfect amount of lite-ice, and we received everything we ordered. To whoever it May Concern, My reason for leaving this job at the Chick-Fil-A in Germantown, Maryland is because of my manager, Jacques Simon. When I first started working, I thought he was more of a "playful" manager. But I quickly realized his way of joking was just shielding his poor behavior to his workers. For example, one day I was given an opportunity to leave early due to the store being slow, and as I was leaving Jack was constantly mocking me about being happy to take my leave. Another time, I had came to work after being up for 16 hours which he knew and he put his hands on my shoulders and aggressively shook me to "wake me up"... He did not need to touch me or shake me as he did to do so. A few days later I came into work and got sent on outside expo. Though, after being outside for two hours I asked for a switch since it was 30 degrees out. Jack purposely ignored me, not listening to my request until 45 minutes after. Even though there were people who offered to switch with me. Finally, the last Friday before I left, I got written up and sent home for my nails; which I completely understood. However, as I was leaving and my food that I ordered was being handed to me; Jack snatched it and said "No, you don't get to eat." then said "I'm just kidding, here." And shoved the food into my chest. How can I view these things as a joke? Last Friday was when I realized as long as Jack was there, that store would not be a place for me to work. Please keep in mind I'm not the first to be complaining about my manager, and most likely won't be the last. I used to have a manager who lived for trips to Chick-Fil-A. That meant they had to leave Indianapolis Indiana to get Chick-Fil-A. We didn't then, have Chick-Fil-A locations on the north side of Indianapolis. Personally, I love their salads. I don't each bread as much but I do really lvoe their salads. 1. salads can be screwed up easily. 2. the quality of the meat is critical. 3. Great dressing is a huge plus. I really enjoy Chick-Fil-A's awesome food and their attention to excellent customer service. This particular location offers all of the above. However, this location seems to always have a very long drive-thru line. Therefore, I typically just go inside even when I'm taking my food out. I also found that this location easily gets swamped on the weekends, especially on Saturdays during lunch. Lots of families flood this restaurant after their soccer and/ or little league games. It certainly doesn't help that this location has limited and very awkward parking, so even when you change your mind, you sometimes get stuck in the lot. Despite all these problems, I'll still try to come back because I love their chicken sandwiches and salads. Everything is freshly prepared! The service is very good, especially compared to other fast-food chains. Their staff is quick, polite and attentive. Chick-Fil-A is famously known for being closed on Sundays to give their staff a day of rest. If that's what it takes to have such an excellent staff, I'm all for it. Importantly, the company revealed in 2014 their 2012 tax filings verifying that the company no longer supports anti-LGBTQIA civil rights.
