However, it was a snowy day and they were not doing curb side and you had walk in. I really wasn't dressed for venturing out and called the store and they simply offered to bring the food out. I really enjoy Chick-Fil-A's awesome food and their attention to excellent customer service. This particular location offers all of the above. However, this location seems to always have a very long drive-thru line. Therefore, I typically just go inside even when I'm taking my food out. I also found that this location easily gets swamped on the weekends, especially on Saturdays during lunch. Lots of families flood this restaurant after their soccer and/ or little league games. It certainly doesn't help that this location has limited and very awkward parking, so even when you change your mind, you sometimes get stuck in the lot. Despite all these problems, I'll still try to come back because I love their chicken sandwiches and salads. Everything is freshly prepared! The service is very good, especially compared to other fast-food chains. Their staff is quick, polite and attentive. Chick-Fil-A is famously known for being closed on Sundays to give their staff a day of rest. If that's what it takes to have such an excellent staff, I'm all for it. Importantly, the company revealed in 2014 their 2012 tax filings verifying that the company no longer supports anti-LGBTQIA civil rights. Today I went to the Chick-Fil-A located in Germantown, MD on my way home. This is literally the only Chick-Fil-A that is located in Germantown, MD. I ordered a Chicken Cool Wrap meal with a Half&Half (Lemonade/sweet tea) as my drink. As I'm driving home, 30mins away from the Germantown location, I start to drink my Half&Half drink. As I am pulling into my driveway I proceed to take another sip of my drink, as I am sipping I felt something come out of my straw into my mouth, now at first I thought maybe it was a seed from the lemonade, but as I reached and took it out of my mouth I then was able to see it was a FINGERNAIL. Someone's finger name was in my damn drink!! I throw up IMMEDIATELY in disgust. I am not one to post bad comments on restaurants, especially the ones I love. But to find someone's fingernail in my drink is just disgusting. So I called the Germantown, MD location and asked to speak with the manger and the person on the other end of the phone stated, "I am the manager, my name is Jennifer. What can I help you with?" I then informed her I found a fingernail in my drink and I literally threw up in disgust. Jennifer responded by saying, "Well we need you to bring the fingernail in." I told Jennifer I live 30 minutes away from the Germantown location and that I just stopped there for a quick meal. She responded "Ok, well we need the nail in order to talk about it." From then on I told her I can take pictures, but it is unexplainable for me to have to drive all the way back to there store to prove to her that there was a fingernail in my Half&Half drink. No one is the right mind would lie about something like that, that is disgusting. Jennifer then hung up on me. This is extremely unexplainable in the food industry, more so franchise. Especially a place so well respected such as, Chick-Fil-A. I expect answers from Chick-fil-A.. Drive thru service was exceptional as always! There were not 1 but 2 order takers outside manning the drive thru and baby it's cold outside! Very friendly and patient as I was maneuvering through the app to redeem a free deal. Window service was equally exceptional. They have done a great job improving service flow since I posted a 1-star review two years ago. It's still chaotic most times you go in, but they've found a way to get food to you faster by doing things like having people at the drive-thru to take orders on a tablet so you don't have to wait until you inch up to the speaker. Mobile ordering has also helped - the kids can play on the indoor playground while I avoid the line by ordering from my phone and simply plugging in my table number. Kudos to the management for stepping up their game to make it a more pleasant experience for the customer. The food is phenomenal and consistent. The service is outstanding. read more

There really needs to be more locations in the area. Every location is always packed, especially the drive-thru. I recommend just going in to order, saves a lot of time or place your order thru the mobile app. I never had any issues with their quality of food. Everything always tastes great and prepared fast. Chick fil a is known for their employees to be very friendly, which is true at this location as well. I love all of their sauces! They are generous with the amount they give out. I went to this chick fil a in the past and would have given it a lower rating. But my last two visits have been very positive. Even with the large lunch crowd the line moved fast and when I got to the counter, the service was kind and very detailed. Each employee was working hard but seemed to be in a good mood. This mood flowed through the restaurant and even with the crowd the customers were also kind and nice. The food came out correct and hot with napkins and utensils that I needed. I love the Cobb salad here. It never disappoints. It has plenty of chicken bites to make you feel like you're getting your money's worth. The dressing I choose is the avocado ranch. This review is completely towards quality and speed of service. I placed a small catering order a few hours in advance for 11:30am pick up. I arrived at 11:32 am and had to wait 20 minutes for everything to be handed to me. Additionally they left out all the sauces for the chicken strip tray. It was such a big deal to get a variety of sauces as they could only provide 1 large tub of sauce. I asked for a BBQ and chick fil a sauce in which I was happy to PAY for the extra cost. After being handed an entire bag of sauces it was only salad dressings... they FORGOT NOT ONE BUT BOTH TUBS! And on top of that, the salad platter wasn't even full. Chick-Fil-A is a guilty pleasure for me... Not because the food is really bad for you or anything, but because of the main company owner's right-wing politics (particularly their anti-homosexual stances). So there's that. They do have great chicken, especially their spicy chicken sandwich, which is comparable to Wendy's spicy chicken. They have good fries (not McDonald's, but still good), and Coke products (major plus for me, fast food-wise). I prefer the chicken biscuit sandwich at McDonald's though over the Chick-Fil-A's; the biscuit isn't as good. As far as this location... It's always busy. I do get fairly quick and courteous service there, but I hate going through their drive-thru because it tends to be slow. read more

Blah blah BLAH!! So take note servers and establishment owners. How can a server / member of your staff lose business for you and drive away repeat customers? Crappy crappy service and an odd sense of being too important to help your customers. On my way to an off-site office which took me across the river into Maryland and had me drive 30 minutes down i-270...I decided to stop for some breakfast. I had rushed outta the house without grabbing my morning toast and homemade latte in order to get to this off-site office by 6:30am. In doing so, my stomach was growling and asking for some sacrificial food to be tossed into the pit of my stomach to satisfy my hunger. With little to no gas left in the car, I pulled into this Chick-Fil-A location which was down the street from my off-site office. I parked the car, went inside and looked at the breakfast menu. I had never ever eaten breakfast at ANY Chick-Fil-A, so I took some time reviewing the menu to decide what to order. This Chick-Fil-A was empty and no other customers where in line and I was the lone person standing at the front counter. Heck, I even stood away from the counter in the event a customer walked in after me and was in a rush to place his or her order. The lady at the registers asked me, "Can I take your order?" "Ummm" I said still reviewing the menu, "I'm still looking" now feeling a bit rushed and like a dunce trying to figure out what I wanted. I decided on the chicken, egg and cheese bagel sandwich and approached the counter. "I'll take the chicken, egg and cheese bagel please." "What drink do you want?" "Umm...pardon me?" Server rolls her eyes and speaks louder as if I didn't understand her. "What DRINK do you want?" "It comes with a drink? I just wanted the sandwich.." Server sighs heavily as if I'm inconveniencing her. I looked at the board and see that for sixty cents more I can get a drinks and tater tots with my breakfast sandwich. "I'll take an orange juice." She places the order and sticks out her hand saying, "Seven twenty five". I hand her a twenty dollar bill and she asks, "Do you have a quarter?" "No ma'am, I do not have a quarter." "Are you sure?" "Yes, I'm sure...if I had a quarter I would've given you a quarter." Her eyes roll and she gives another "f*ck you idiot" sigh as she pulls out a roll of quarters, cracks them on the counter (and thankfully not on my head). She counts out three quarters, two one dollar bills and a 10 spot and hands it back to me. Taking out a box or orange juice she leaves it on the back counter and walks away. Another server walks up, picks up the orange juice and ask, "Who is this for?" The server that took my order points to me and walks into the back room. The 2nd server hands me my sandwich and thanks me. I walk over to the seating area, already annoyed by the 1st server's attitude and those friggin' sighs. All the tables and seats appear to be dirty and one table across from me has some huge liquid spilled all over the table. Finding the "cleanest" table in the area I sit down and open up the box holding my bagel sandwich. Ugh...futher disappointment. The bagel is okay; a whole wheat bagel which is covered in melted cheese and some folded piece of egg. The chicken patty was the most disappointing part of this sandwich as it was almost 2 sizes smaller than the bagel or even the folded piece of egg (Picture an 8"x8" piece of paper folded in half twice). Where's the chicken? Taking two bites of the sandwich on the chicken side, my fat ass completely ate the small piece of chicken. Two bites? Seriously? That small? I had been to Chick-Fil-A for lunch and their sandwiches aren't huge, but if memory serves right the pieces of chicken are large enough to fit the bun/bread. Total disappointment. As I finished the rest of my sandwich (which was now nothing more than an egg and cheese bagel), I kept looking at that table with the huge spilled liquid. I wondered if anyone would come to clean up that spill. During the time I sat there eating my sandwich no one came by. Looking around me at the chairs I saw little pieces of food and now-dry liquid on most of the chairs. At 6:30am I doubted it this mess wasn't from a huge wave of early morning messy patrons. It had to be from the night before and due to the close proximity to the children's play area I was guessing (having my own experience with my two monkeys) that all this mess was from the night before. Why was this place so messy? Why hadn't they cleaned this up last night? If the attitude and lack of customer service shown by the 1st server told me anything, it was that the staff of this Chick-Fil-A location probably didn't take pride in their job. Hey Chick-Fil-A off Century Blvd, make sure you find staff or make your staff care. Personally I will never return to this location and now have a bit of a sour feeling towards other Chick-Fil-A's. If I could give you 0 stars I would. Avoid this location at all costs. Not safe. The layout of the drive-thru immediately creates conflict amongst guests. Over the last year alone, I have been yelled at, cursed at, threatened, had my vehicle almost rammed, etc. I have also seen worse done to others. This has all been done by guests that believe they do not have to show any common courtesy or believe they have the right of way when they clearly do not. Each incident has been brought to the attention of the restaurant management, who in return show no regard whatsoever for their guests safety. While some might be confused as to why I'm holding Chick-fil-A to a level of responsibility, I will explain. This locations knows the limitations of their parking lot, knows how off the rails some of their guests have been and still choose not to offer any level of security. For me, the last straw was seeing a young "lady" jump out of her car and proceed to bang on another vehicles window believing they had cut the line. They did not. The first thing that you notice when you arrive at this location is the ridiculously long line for the drive-thru. I would highly recommend ordering inside the restaurant. The restaurant is usually crowded; the wait to order is not long, but waiting for your food takes longer. I think they restaurant is in need of an update too since the furniture is older. The restaurant is also in an odd location, a parking lot practically surrounds it. I think that contributes to the drive-thru issue as well since cars cannot properly line up. The service is good, and the staff seem to make efforts to minimize wait times. On a positive note, despite how busy it is our orders come out right. I usually get the nuggets and fries and they are not overcooked and taste fresh. I can't imagine the food sitting out too long here because it gets a lot of foot traffic. read more

My family is addicted to Chick-fil-A and the food is always served hot and fresh. We have been visiting this location routinely for at least the past 7 years practically once per week. Historically they provided a free kids meal with a meal purchase every Tuesday in conjunction with their Kids Night with crafts and activities but recently no longer offer the free meal due to a recent change in management. With the management change I have noticed a decline in customer service that I hope is addressed because the food is still good. You receive free refills on your drinks when you dine in. read more

I have been a good better yet one of their best customers. Not only I've been going to CFA for the past 20 years that I moved here from Fl but have always loved how CFA have shown their appreciation towards their customer. For the past 3 months, the managers at CFA Germantown, not only refused to give me for what I had asked for as a paying and loyal customer but had the audacity to tell me that I will be charged for an extra 25 cents for a cup of ice. Here's the thing, why is it that 1 out of so many managers and assistant managers in that place only one can relate to my frustrations. At first, I figured this is petty and I'll just let it go. The way I see it if I ask and was granted to me well then my attitude towards that is "Thank You!" However, not only that place is so INCONSISTENT but trying to make more money out of me!!!! Each and every time I asked for a side large cup of ice because when I order a sweet ice tea, I would get a cup full of ice and then get a MEDIUM size worth of tea which I need to remind y'all that I paid for a LARGE SWEET TEA! Then, I decided to get more tea out of what I actually paid for I requested to put light ice on it and asked for a cup of large ice since the ice melts so quickly, I like to have my tea really cold! That's what we do down south to have a very nice refreshing sweet tea! Here's my gripe on this "I can't give you a LARGE CUP OF ICE since other people continues to ask for it and then some idiots abused that privilege for me and the rest of us! But my thing is this, if I'm spending, whether it's $10 for breakfast or $15 for lunch, as a paying customer and to make me feel that you appreciate my business that I bring in your store, I'd be the last person to get HELL from everyone in CFA! But see between my family and I, each and every week we would spend a good $100 a week at CFA! Then, now that the guy manager, who's hair looks like it needs some combing and washing every time I see him (and it's so disgusting) tells me that he will give me a medium cup of ice this but next time I come back he will make sure that he will get me pay for any extra cup of ice. Another funny thing was this management would rather give out 2- medium cups of ice than give me a LARGE CUP OF ICE which technically would cost them less! Ms. Kelly Smith, if you care so much about how your store is running, I would suggest to 1- have your managers/asst. managers to go to customer service class and management classes. 2- if you care enough about this store, I would also suggest, that while people like me who spends money and been a customer of yours for over 20 years, I would reconsider about your new policies!
