This is the CFA at the green-gate center. Some time ago we stopped in for a meal and there was a rowdy group with kids who kept interfering with us and very noisy. I complained and was told nothing can be done. I ask for a refund and was to no way and I should have taken my food out to my car instead. So the manger at this farce thinks people should be bothered while dining and keep their mouth shut! No can do Chicken manager. Bottom line upfront, we are at this Chick-fil-a last week for the first time and I could not have been more impressed with the staff at this franchise. At the time we were there, the staff was mostly older and the experience was great. It was clear that the customer experience is important to management and the staff. Everyone was friendly, polite, attentive, and not even a chair was left out of place. Tables were cleaned as customers left, our food was prepared to perfection and overall everything could not have been better. This Greensburg Chick-fil-a was overall the best of the chain that I have ever been to around the country. The first experience there last week resulted us adding this establishment to our list of go to places to eat when shopping in the Greensburg/Hempfield area. In fact we were back in the area at lunchtime yesterday and opted to eat lunch there this time. The experience was exactly the same quality as the first visit, and the observation was not only great food, but that management was checking even minute things like ensuring tables were numbered in the correct order and places exactly where they should be placed. Friendly staff, perfectly prepared food, spotless facility, plenty of convenient parking, and management actively ensuring a quality experience... this is the standard all Chick-fil-a should strive to achieve. read more

I never met a Chick-fil-A I didn't like. In fact, I might even believe that they wrote the book about Business 101. They seem to do everything just right and they have proven themselves to be a good example of what a successful franchise looks like. Though it is considered a fast food operation, the food quality, consistency, and freshness says otherwise. Their team members and management work together in order to provide their customers a positive and satisfying experience. They are consistently trying to improve the speed and accuracy of their ordering process. During my recent visit, they had 2 members standing outside along the drive-thru lane taking orders remotely to help speed up the line of cars. By the time I reached the pick up window, the order was paid for and ready to go. They also conduct various promotions year round and are very involved in community functions and fundraisers. I especially applaud them for the fact that they continue to remain closed on Sundays even though they could easily increase their business and profits by remaining open. Hopefully, Chick-fil-A will continue to follow the basic business principles it so wisely discovered, and possibly succeed in teaching a few other fast food chains the way to do things right. read more

I love me some Chik fil A. Recently, I've started changing up to eating more of the grilled chicken. I've always been a fan of the milkshakes and waffle fries. After some shopping in Greengate Plaza, my mother and I decided to grab a bite to eat. We both ordered grilled chicken sandwiches. My first bite into my sandwich was a big piece of inedible meat (fat and who knows what else). I ended up deconstructing my sandwich and eating about half the chicken and everything else. As of recent, this isn't the first time that I got chicken from Chik fil A that wasn't great. Typically, if no one else's chicken, I felt as though I could trust Chik fil A's. This is slowly not becoming the case anymore. As always, the service was fantastic. The establishment was clean. And it was very busy but the team moved things along quickly and smoothly. read more

Chick Fil A Greengate used to be our go-to place for fast food - BEFORE THEY RENOVATED! We were the at least once or twice a week and always satisfied. Then they closed for several months to renovate a restaurant that was completely fine the way it was. Even during Covid, their drive thru ran like a well oiled machine. Since they reopened, we quite frankly found other options because they were closed so long. But the last few times we have gone I've noticed a lot of negative things. 1. Their chicken isn't the same. It's like rubber 2. Prices are astronomical 3. You can't get more than 2 sauces with your meal. Then they have the nerve to suggest buying a bottle in their store if you need more??? The arrogance! 4. Today, my two sons ordered large fries with their meals, and the box was literally 25% full! 5. The way they redesigned their drive thru is horrible! It's incredibly inefficient, and they went from being the fastest drive thru restaurant to the slowest! I've truly had it. Their arrogance causes me anxiety. We'll go somewhere else, and I suggest you do too. All of these changes were made after the remodel so they could pass the cost of the remodel onto us. read more

When we got to where we would get our food, we sat and waited while everyone behind us and along side of us were getting their orders before us. We didn't irder anything complicated that it should have taken as long as it did for us to get our food.. There was only one person delivering orders to cars. After about 4 ir 5 other orders we asked when we would be getting ours. All the sauces we asked for were not included; no ketchup for the fries. This Chick-Fil-A is top tier, from the service to the food to the portion size it is one of the best CFAs I've been to. The staff is always very friendly and they always get the order correct! The drive thru line is typically out of the parking lot but the overall wait isn't bad, especially for how many cars are in line. Mobile orders are always on time and ordering through the app is cheaper than door dash and ensures the order is right. Sometimes ordering for an in-store pickup can take a while during busy times so I recommend going through the drive thru. The best place for Chicken Sandwiches in the United States. Chick-Fil-A is a favorite stop with my Brother and I. Located near the Greensburg Walmart. I have visited this location multiple times and have always had a good experience. The cashiers are good at taking your orders fast and accurately. I ordered their #1 chicken combo and it was quite delicious. The order comes with their Waffle fries and and a drink of your choice. The waffle fries are a nice change from the standard fast food french fry. After I ordered they gave us a number to put on our table and they delivered our food to us. That meant that we didn't have to wait awkwardly at the counter waiting for our orders. The food was made hot and fresh, it wasn't pre-made from what i could tell which is great!. Most of the sandwiches come with "Do it yourself" mayo and ketchup but their sandwiches just plain are also good. The chicken is full of flavor. The dinning room is always packed with customers but it usually doesn't take long to find a place to sit. Chick-Fil-A also has a Play place for the kids to play in. Which I imagine gives the parents a nice break. For desert I recommend trying their brownies or a milkshake. They are both great choices. I would definitely go back when I'm in the area. read more

You can only get so excited about ChickFilA, but this location lives up to brand standard. Chicken is reliably good, both grilled and fried. The waffle fries are delicious. If you want a healthier option, the fresh market salad and cool wrap are both quite good. The store is always clean, and the employees are exceptionally friendly and polite-- I'm always impressed that ChickFilA has great service wherever you go. I love coming here! No matter how frighteningly long the line is they somehow manage to push everyone through in a timely manner. I have never had a wrong order here and I've even had someone give me a free ice cream cone before just for having to wait a little longer. My only complaint is the online ordering for this particular location. It seems to always be an issue here. If you do order online, call and double check they received your order prior to driving out and make sure you have your order confirmation number. I have made that mistake more than once. read more

Thank you. A Chick-Fil-A that appears to be consistently clean! Some Chick-Fil-As struggle on that, but the lobby and bathrooms are kept clean, and they generally deliver on every other margin. Prices are fine as long as they can stay clean (it's totally part of what we pay for). The key to their cleanliness seems to be that they apparently have one or two lobby attendants/cleaners taking care of business in the lobby (excellent--sends a great signal and keeps business coming back rather than getting used to going elsewhere!). read more

i learned from the great boniface wimmer that man has an untold capacity to take advantage of other's kindness. as they jetted arnold palmer at mach 3 towards the stratosphere, i couldn't help but feel that i was being watched by eyes greater than mine. a bird sits upon a branch whistling his harrowing tale of how he escaped the heat of the south and back-packed his way north for the summer. three state troopers emerge from their armored personnel carriers. i feel safe. as arnold palmers green eyes gaze down from the heavens, i look at the great protestant temple that lies before me. lyric less music floats so unassumingly through the doors that one might expect a cloudless weather channel forecast is played on repeat throughout the structure's hallowed halls. only a fool would suspect ill will of such an establishments patrons. my compadre and i walk on our hands towards the structure, wishing for nothing but to share in the grace of god. it is then that we encounter our first Trial. a pregnant woman w a gaggle of eight raucous germ factories is b-lining for the same doorway as us. we share a destination which causes us to sweat glucose. i try to open the door as my compadre barges on w no intention of stopping. it's a poorly coordinated maneuver that leaves my compadre looking like a jackass and me, looking like a gentleman. my bow tie quivers w the excitement only bestowed upon a chivalrous man. my compadres face shrinks to the size of a penny and turns beet red from shame and rage. as i begin to feel that the Trial has passed, the woman performs an unthinkable deviation from all forms of rationality. her tattooed calf springs forward w the kinetic force of a tungsten rod dropped from a high rise, which shatters my knees and leaves me curled on the floor sucking dust as each of her ducklings step on my kidneys. unfortunately for us, her order was as large as her unbridled ego. as i stand in the queue, that bird from earlier makes himself at home on my right clavicle and begins speaking in tongues. my compadre translates and says the bird is persuading me to order a menu item which i'm not used to. i resist, thus completing the second Trial. the bird flies off, ripping my shirt from my back and a number of my unsecured personal belongings from my deep pockets. i begin to pray for sanctuary at one of the Shaded Booths. we take our stupid orange cone and sit down. we sit away from the creep taking up a family sized booth facing the play area. as we sit, a boisterous celebration erupts at my compadres six o'clock. he narrows his eyes and senses an impending third and final Trial. by the time he has uttered his warnings, the mother, who has now assumed the likeness of a vengeful hawk, has begun to patrol the restaurants lanes. all three state troopers have returned to their APCs, thus rendering the situation unsafe. my bow tie begins leaping up and down, bruising my chin and making me pee. my compadre now takes note that the mother is brandishing her youngest offspring as a well trained british grenadier brandishes his musket in low-ready. in a rapidly crescendoing sick cacophony of events, a smiling servant descends from the alter and delivers to us two wrong orders. she fails to take her stupid orange cone w her during the retreat. we stare dumbfounded at the mess that lies before us for a moment, before my compadre slowly lifts his head. the mother halts her advance, having arrived w a single cough from the child's mouth loaded to fire into the back of my compadres hair. time freezes, angels sing. THWOMP. a cough spills fourth from the child's mouth, crop dusting my compadres freshly-glued pompadour and sending his essential facial features soaring into multiple different directions. church bells ring. the third Trial is complete. the rest of the meal goes by w out a cinch. i've always liked the chicken sandwich and waffles fries. read more
