The clam chowder came in a small cardboard cup, with some oyster crackers. I wanted to have the clam chowder before I dug into the salad, so I opened it up. Was it looked like the milk had separated, and it looked very watery. I tasted it and it had a really odd taste to it. I showed it to my girlfriend who tasted and said don't eat any more of this. This is spoiled. Ewww ..... not good. I took it back out to the front, at first. They wanted to exchange it for the tomato soup, but since I do not like tomato soup I said Well, why don't we just take it off our bill. Since I had paid with the InKind app, she had to reach out to the manager to see about doing that. They were unable to refund the money but they said they were going to "Make it right" and that the manager would call me the next day. Well, the next day came and went, so I decided to wait an extra day before writing my review. Since this happened on a Saturday, and the manager was supposed to call me on a Sunday. I definitely had some Grace as I am sure the last time you wanted to do on a Sunday was deal with customer problem. So Monday came and went and still no message. I don't know about you, but if there was a customer problem with spoiled food I would have reached out ASAP to make sure I got it right. Sadly that did not happen. As someone who has been in the food service industry, I know how critical it is to take care of something that went wrong, ESPECIALLY if it involves spoiled food! In this case I felt discounted, uncared for, and that my business (and well being) really didn't matter at all. I did have a pleasant experience with the salad though, which is why I gave it three stars. The people behind the counter were gracious, but the lack of follow through on the part of management is something that really sticks in my craw. Bottom line? I doubt that I'll be going back to Chop Stop again based on this experience. This is sad, because this place has a lot of potential.

The food was good this time with the exception of the tomatoes, they seemed mushy like were stored to cold or semi frozen along their journey. Otherwise the rest of the salad seemed fresh. Lettuce was crisp, onions and cucumbers were fresh, just not the tomatoes. But in their defense, they normally are. The salmon was cooked perfectly, and the entire bowl was fresh, flavorful and filling. We also tried the spicy feta spread with grilled pita, which was delicious. My wife ordered the Steak Kalamakia, and the steak was tender, well seasoned and served with rice, Greek salad, tzatziki and pita. The only downside was the price. Adding the salmon to the bowl alone was nearly $15, and our meal for two ended up close to $80. That's considerably more than we usually spend at other high quality counter service Greek and Mediterranean restaurants around town. The food was excellent, and we would definitely return, just probably more sparingly because of the cost and the 45 minute drive from our house. They also have a location closer to us in Centennial that we'll likely check out. Overall, this is a solid restaurant that's absolutely worth a visit. Just keep an eye on the total because the bill adds up quickly.
