Picked up lunch yesterday, and it doesn't matter how long the line is, how many cars are wrapped around the building, they have mastered the art of getting food to the people at Chick-fil-A. Upon going in and getting to the cash register I was greeted by a very friendly work who was happy to take my order. Because of how busy it was, I opted for it to go, and it didn't take long at all I ended up getting a traditional chicken sandwich, small fries and a 5 piece count of nuggets (I had a reward for). All came out quickly, and tasted great. I don't do much fast food, but Chick-fil-A has it figured out

Tammy was a hoot, thanks Tammy. Manager was attentive and gave sticker. Preciate yall big time.

Quick stop in for breakfast and tried the bowl. Pretty good. Nice fluffy eggs with hash browns and pieces of chicken. Once seated I realized I didn't get and condiments and started to walk back to the front by then realized there was a station across from me and also another close one. That is super convenient not having to go back all the way to the front and leave my stuff at my table where I can't see it. I finally tried the honey roasted BBQ sauce.... Umm that is chick Fila sauce still great though. Love the stuff!

When I lived in California, I completely ignored the new Chick-Fil-A that opened on Imperial Hwy in La Habra because I had In-n-Out and didn't know what this was. Now after being in the South for 7 years, @chickfila has become a dependable and pleasant weekly work lunch treat. I think that Chick-Fil-A is the In-n-Out of the South, in that they both provide extremely good customer service and quality. They have family-run company roots and a religious backbone. I'm constantly impressed by the organization and efficiency in which they serve customers and how this improved during quarantine in 2020. Here are some favorites I enjoy when I dine in and relax from the office for an hour- grilled chicken nuggets 8 count, kale salad, fruit cup, waffle fries, very very good ranch, the market salad with grilled chicken, a frosted lemonade, and a frosted coffee. I use the app all the time and because of this, I get rewards redemption every other trip for a free waffle fry! High Point recently remodeled their location. Go check them out. Be prepared for them to offer to refill your drink and to clear your trash when you are dining in.

We've been a few times but I've been too busy eating to do pictures or a review in the past. Tonight, I had a craving for a good burger and knew Frady's would hook me up. Despite the restaurant being packed, we were seated within a few minutes of arrival, and greeted with a smile. Service was kind and prompt our entire visit. I started off with a glass of whiskey, which is a nice treat since they have a comprehensive and fairly priced list of options. It's a nice way to try something (especially among the allocated options) that you might not have at home. For food, we got the Frady's ultimate cheeseburger and the All-American cheeseburger. Both were huge, served fresh, and fantastic. They really use fresh high-quality meat here and it shows. My wife also had had a side salad which was delicious and fresh, and I enjoyed the perfectly crispy tots. I've never had a disappointing meal here, and continue to recommend it to friends. They could use a larger location (a good problem to have because their popularity is well-earned) but otherwise I have nothing but praise!

Make you a grilled cheese to go with it, and life is complete. The service is great. I met the owner a year ago, and she was soooo sweet. She gave me a sample of her soup and I've been a fan since. I'm only giving it 4 stars because I haven't tried anything else on the menu. I don't live anywhere close to Stock & Grain, so I only stop by when in the area.

It's not to be confused with Fig and Olive Cafe in Greensboro. Fig & Olive is new to Stock + Grain. It opened last month, July 2025. Stock + Grain opened in early 2022. The food hall has really filled in since then. We visited for dinner before a Carolina Core soccer game and the place was packed. My wife and I were drawn to Fig & Olive's menu. We wanted something light and relatively healthy. They sell sandwiches and bowls, priced at $11 to $18.50 each. We both got the Portofino Bowl for $16.50 each. It comes with baby arugula, soppressata, bresaola, marinated artichoke hearts, shaved pecorino romano, fresh lemon, and extra virgin olive oil. The bowls/salads were presented nicely. One of our friends commented that they looked "delightful." Unfortunately, the bowls looked better than they tasted. They were unbalanced and hard to enjoy. We were unable to finish them. While the portion sizes were decent, I was working/chewing through a lot of dense, cured meat. There wasn't any dressing except for the EVOO (which I'm not sure we even noticed) and some lemon wedges. Overall, the bowls weren't that flavorful. They felt incomplete. The quality of the ingredients was fine, though. They give you a pager so you know when to pick up your order. When I went to pick up our bowls, they made a mistake and only prepared one bowl instead of two. I let them know and later, the cashier brought my bowl directly to where we were sitting. She was polite and apologetic. No big deal to me. It looked like there were only two people working and they were busy. Given how new this place is and the appealing menu, I'd be willing to give it another shot. Maybe they were still working some kinks out and/or we ordered the wrong thing. Fig & Olive is certainly a nice addition to Stock + Grain's lineup. According to Fig & Olive's page on Stock + Grain's website, the business is "a social enterprise" of Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC's Providence program where "all efforts and profits support workforce development programs." It closed in early February for what were supposed to be renovations, only to reopen months later with a new name and a new concept, trading slightly upscale Southern for more upscale Italian. In some regards, this makes sense - it fills a void created by the closure of Lulu and Blu - but in other ways, it's a massive gamble. My wife and I went for our anniversary dinner, and while it was an overall pleasant experience, it also made us miss Magnolia. The higher price point is the chief culprit. Otto and Blue offers pastas in the $20s and entrees starting in the $30s, bread and olive oil not included. While we were celebrating an occasion that merited such a splurge, it's hard to imagine the restaurant remaining competitive at those prices once the sheen of newness wears off. Look past that, however, and Otto and Blue shines in both ambiance and service. It's classy without being stuffy, and the dark turquoise tones suit it well. Allison, a Magnolia Blue mainstay, was personable and attentive and provided excellent service throughout the meal. Otto and Blue's menu offers apps, salads, pastas, and entrees. It's predominantly Italian albeit with a few options for the steak-and-potatoes crowd. The dishes range from recognizably classic (rigatoni Bolognese) to conspicuously elevated (halibut piccatta). After mulling over several offerings, we went with the bread service, tagliatelle, and duck cacciatore. The food ranged from fairly good to outstanding. While $9 for bread is a tough pill to swallow, they executed it as well as they possibly could have: a hot, fresh ciabatta with tasty herb butter, olive relish, and a quality olive oil-balsamic combo as accompaniments. The cacciatore boasted a pair of duck legs confit, and while I'm usually no fan of dark meat poultry, these were prepared well with crispy skin and plenty of meat. For a typically hearty dish, the sauce seemed light (and a bit subdued), but that could be a consequence of serving atop polenta (more absorbent) rather than pasta. Speaking of pastas and sauces, the tagliatelle hit a nice balance of creamy and zesty without swimming in its white wine lemon sauce. Surprisingly, the highlight of the meal ended up being the dessert that Otto and Blue kindly offered as an anniversary gift. A scoop of vanilla bean gelato came adorned with a Biscoff cookie, a drizzle of olive oil, and a dash of salt. If salt and especially olive oil on ice cream seem vaguely blasphemous, don't knock it until you try it. Each bite was thoroughly delicious. It's a given that good food doesn't come cheap, but even so, Otto and Blue has no margin for error to justify what it charges. On food alone, it was close but not quite there. However, the overall experience made it worthwhile, and I have no regrets about dining here.
