The inside was very clean and the staff was hard at work. We ordered off the kiosk and got to spend as much time as needed figuring out what we wanted to order. I got the sweet & spicy bacon burger, fries and an OJ. My husband got a double Whataburger with fries and a fountain drink. Our food was brought out by a very pleasant and polite young lady with orange in her hair. I'm sad I didn't catch her name as she was wonderful! My OJ was missing but she had no problem grabbing me one when asked! We tried a fry on the way home, and I'm glad we did. We have about a 15 min drive and the fries did not hold up hot and fresh. They were still good, but that first car fry was amazing! We'll definitely dine in or eat the fries in the car next visit! The burgers were phenomenal. They were full of flavor and the toppings complemented them nicely! They were nice and hot when we got home as well! Only downside was the missing sauces in our bag. Not a deal breaker and I should have checked before we left, but it's okay! We have ketchup at home and I hadn't yet decided how to use my ranch! Great experience and we will be back to this location!

Dave's Hot Chicken just opened on Battleground Ave in Greensboro, and wow…read more This place is delicious. I ordered the #2 sliders, one Hot and one X-Hot... lol holy smokes the extra heat will light you up. I honestly can't even imagine trying the Reaper level. I also got a large chocolate milkshake and it was amazing -- super creamy and a perfect balance to the spice. The fries were awesome, perfectly seasoned, and surprisingly not too salty at all (which I really appreciated). Service was a little slow, but honestly? That's because everything is made fresh. I'll gladly wait a few extra minutes for hot, fresh food instead of something that's been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Overall, 9/10. Great food, bold flavors, and totally worth the visit. Highly recommend!

Service was pretty good, about what we expected; and the atmosphere was as advertised, bright colors, loud music, lots to look at. HOWEVER! if you like sweet with your hot, this chicken is well marinated, fried extra crispy and cooked to perfection. the crinkle cut fries are fantastic, crisp on the outside and still soft inside, dusted with a seasoning that, for those who like sugar, would be great. I highly recommend this place to the right customer, that customer just isn't me.

After ordering, it took maybe 5 minutes to get our food which felt decent for the fresh food! There was a steady flow of to-go orders so it seems to be a popular spot. I ordered the Popper Topper Burger, although I do get the jalapeños on the side. I was expecting a little bit more to be honest. It was cheesy and delicious, but the patty itself was lacking any flavor. This was shocking because the menu described it to be "Cajun seasoned" but it felt very plain. The fries were my favorite part by far!!! Unlike other places, this had plenty of toppings. Normally, once you eat the top layer the underside is dry. Not here! I was covered in cheese sauce by the end of the meal. If you're in the mood for some really good fries, definitely check it out!

This location of Big Burger Spot is tucked away by a dingy looking gas station, in a parking lot…read moreyou'll almost miss as you drive past the adjacent Walmart entrance. While the exterior is a far cry from the "vibrant patio" the restaurant description promises, the interior opens into a clean, bright space, which is more spacious than one might expect. On the front counter you will see an artistically designed menu board, depicting the many creative offerings available here. When I invited my coworkers to join me here for lunch, 2 immediately began ardently affirming my choice, regretful they could not join me but promising I would love it. In this moment, vague memories of them talking about this "really good burger place at the gas station" for months on end began to come back to me, as I realized they had been indirectly recommending it for a while. On the other hand, my 3rd coworker, who was in a separate room and had not heard their high praises, told me that it was "overrated" and "fine but not that special." Lol. Needless to say, I had absolutely no idea what to make of it all when I arrived. When I walked in, the woman behind the counter asked if I had ever been there, before patiently walking me through the various sections of the menu and helping me pick something out. I settled on the Popper Topper, which promised Cajun spices and fried jalapeño coins, among other various toppings. At its smallest size (big), it only cost $10.99. I also ordered bacon and cheddar fries. My initial impressions upon receiving my food (quite quickly, I might add) is that 1) the restaurant's name is perfect and 2) this is a very good quantity per dollar and an absolutely absurd calorie per dollar meal, especially in 2025. For right at $20, I got a huge burger and enough fries to satiate 2-3 people. I cannot fathom what the larger burger sizes look like, much less who could possibly be ordering them. The fries were everything I could have asked for -- crispy, salty, and with a very generous amount of both cheddar sauce and bacon (the perfect amount to have sauce on every bite but not be soggy). The burger was good, and definitely satisfied that primal craving for salt and fat that we all carry with us from hunter-gatherer days gone by. However, I wouldn't say it was particularly spicy, nor did its flavor deviate significantly from any generic burger I could order. Don't get me wrong, it was still delicious, but I was a little disappointed. I think that the fried jalapeño coins are breaded a little on the thicker side, which somewhat mutes the spice and slight acidity that they would otherwise add to this dish, to help cut through and brighten the other flavors. All in all, I had a great meal and would totally come back, but I don't think I've tried the "perfect" burger from here yet. Definitely going to recommend this to anyone in the area.

I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, a side of beans, and a drink. The sandwich was okay--nothing bad, but nothing that really stood out. The beans were actually pretty good and may have been the highlight of the meal. The only thing that surprised me was the price. The meal came to about $14, which felt a little expensive for a fast-food lunch. Overall, it was a solid experience with good service and a clean restaurant, but the food and value probably wouldn't have me going out of my way to return.

They serve agua frescas and soft drinks. I ordered the 12 piece combo. They let me try both half fried and half grilled chicken. I chose 1 order of sweet plantains and 2 orders of yuca fries for my 3 sides. Also I was given some dinner bread rolls. The fried chicken has a distinct taste;it was savory and citrusy. There was a crunch to it but not as crispy as the other fried chicken chains and is less greasy. The fried chicken is seasoned with cumin, lime, paprika and cayenne peppers. The grilled chicken tasted super zesty ( heavy flavors of lime/oregano). The plantains is super sweet but soooo yummy!! I enjoyed the yuca fries as well( tasted like sweet fried thick cut potatoes). They carry the Cholula brand hot sauce and not texas pete like most places do. There is a good amount of seatings outdoor with umbrellas and indoor seating. They do catering too. I went on a Friday afternoon and it was not busy. There were many tables filled with family eating lunch. It was quiet. Staff is quick to greet and service. I prefer the grilled chicken over the fried chicken. The fried chicken is good but wasnt too fond of the seasonings and it was a bit dry. I love the side orders, there so delicous. If you're into some new taste, check them out!!

It was quiet inside, but that didn't deter the staff from efficiently taking our order and getting us burgers hot and fresh within about 15-20 minutes! I like that it's an order at the counter place, with a very distinct feel of getting a higher end burger at a place with waiter service. I think more restaurants would greatly benefit to change to this model, not everything needs a waiter, and customers are generally happy to handle getting their own drinks while saving the tip. Anyhow, I went with the smashburger special, two smashed out patties topped with American cheese, pickles, onions, shredded lettuce, and burger sauce. I got tots for my side, because frankly, I think tots are the superior potato consumption method. The patties had a nice crust on them, plenty of beefy grilled flavor, nicely seasoned. The cheese and onions provided balance, and acidic hits from the pickle topped it all off. Very tasty. The tots were fried crispy just how I like them. Everyone else at the table had a similar premium experience with their items, and we all agreed this was a great pivot. We'd come back!

I ordered onion rings as my side. They are cut in house and hand breaded. They also come with a dipping sauce. The onion rings were good but greasy. Next time, I'll opt for the hand cut French fries! Only tables in this restaurant: some with only chairs and others with chairs on one side and a bench seat on the other side. All seats are hard, and with NO padding. The restaurant had a good business, with 80% capacity inside and people coming in and out constantly for to go orders. I ended up here because the restaurant I planned to visit was closed for renovations. I feel like it was my lucky day, as this burger was much better than I would have gotten there. I will return!
