I tend to worry about calories at fast food restaurants, but a scoop of chicken salad was only 400 calories and was more chicken than mayonnaise, the way it should be. For a side I got the broccoli salad which was very tasty. The atmosphere was pleasant and not noisy at all; it made a good spot for lunch and conversation. This was my first time eating here...first the service was amazing!!! All of the employees from the cashier to the manager to the floor person were all top notch. Friendly, accommodating, continually checking in on our table it was just warm and welcoming and I really appreciated that. Now for the food....delicious!! I had a chicken salad sandwich (I think it was called a blt) and pasta salad as my side!! I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. This location is nicely situated in the Palladium area. Ample parking and plenty seating indoors. I love the dining area as you walk in. Because it is my first visiting, I just immediately walked through the dining area straight to the counter. There is a walk around path to the left to avoid doing this. I didn't notice it until later (whoops). I noticed they have pictures of local attractions on the wall. That is such a nice personal touch. The menu is not overpowering and the cashier was so polite in taking my order. She walked me through the menu and even offered me a sample! Absolutely the best customer service. I would return to this location just for that. I picked the Olivia's Old South chicken salad. It was delicious. The drink cups are nice size and they have plenty of fresh drink options at the drink station. The croissant was so fluffy and buttery. I just wish they would give you a larger portion of the chicken salad in the sandwich. The tomato and lettuce looked and tasted as if it was personally handpicked for perfection. I think next time I will pick an extra scoop of chicken salad. The meal came with the sandwich and a side. I chose the pasta salad. Yum! It was seasoned well and great texture. Myself and my friend went to check out the soft opening of Chicken Salad Chick and it was amazing! The staff was amazing, food was amazing and super quick! I would say by the time we got our drinks and sat outside we were not waiting more than 5 mins before our food was delivered to us! The have a beautiful, spacious patio on the side of the building which gets nice shade so that the sun isn't blinding or beating down on you! Overall experience was wonderful, I will be back again! Great place but to me the menu is limited. We go here a lot because the wife loves chicken salad. They have several different options for flavor and you can get sandwiches or just the chicken salad. I had to leave town the next day and had not been able to return it for six days. When I went to return it, completely full uneaten, the manager said she could not switch it out for a less spicy one due to it being a week. I'm surprised at the lack of customer service! This is an expensive chicken salad place that tries to portray a friendly southern atmosphere. This was anything but that! Do not get takeout from this location unless you are absolutely certain of the flavor. Even then, I would recommend opening the container and tasting it to your satisfaction prior to leaving the store given non-customer friendly service! This new Chicken Salad Chick location came to slay. This opening was highly anticipated (mostly by me!) and it did not disappoint. I wondered how the soft opening would go as sometimes restaurants may not be fully prepared, especially with COVID-19, but wow. Even with a huge crowd ordering, we had barely gotten our drinks and sat down before our food arrived. Everything was fresh and delicious! What really struck me was the amazing customer service. We were greeted at the door by the promotional manager who was so welcoming and knowledgeable. She checked on us again later on the patio, along with the manager and another employee. Everyone was so nice and friendly! I noticed employees cleaning & sanitizing restaurant surfaces multiple times throughout my meal, hand sanitizer was provided, social distancing enforced and employees were wearing gloves and masks. Cleanliness gets 10/10. There's also a great patio as well. Plenty of space. I truly have no complaints. The food was AWESOME & the customer service was top notch.
