I never went to a Chick-fil-a. It was highly recommended by a southern friend, so when I saw one here in a Hyannis, Ma, I tried it. What a disappointment. Chick Fil A recently opened a new location in Hyannis, Massachusetts on November 30th, not far from Cape Cod Mall. I went there 2 days after they opened. The dining room was filled to the brim, and there was a long line of people waiting to order food. I will say, this is much closer to my house than the Warwick, Rhode Island location I have been frequenting. On that day, I ordered my usual #3 value meal (12 piece original nuggets, medium sized fries, and medium drink). I chose ice water instead of soda, 'cause I'm trying to be a little healthy (not that fried chicken will help me drop the pounds LOL). All that food cost under $10. I had to resort to eating in the car because even after I received my food, there were no empty tables in the dining room. That aside, the food was tasty, the staff were friendly, and it was a good value for the money. It was so good, I got 24 extra nuggets to take home so I could enjoy them a few more days. I'm a satisfied (and addicted) customer. I'll be back. read more

I wouldn't even give this location a one star. The customer service is beyond disgraceful. Chick-fil-A policy is that everyone is treated with dignity, honor and respect, and I can tell you from personal experience that is NOT what this location stands for. My mom and I had a horrible experience in this location a few days ago and their Store Manager Marina was one of the rudest individuals I've ever encountered. I won't get into detail of the nature of the issue however she proceeded to call my Mom "sir" numerous times. She refused to give us back my mom's empty gift card and said she was keeping it as "evidence" as if were criminals. When I asked for the franchise owners name and information they only told me her first name, AnneMarie, and told me I could either call the store or customer care. I filed a complaint with customer care and asked for only Anne Marie Reissner to call me back that I did not want anyone from that location speaking to me as I am disgusted by their lack of care and customer service. I did not receive a call from AnneMarie, but two other associates from the location. Both of which told me I was wrong. They defended their store manager despite the fact that they admitted she should have handled it differently and defended her actions which is disgraceful. Ashley the director of this location said calling my Mom a "sir" was a simple accident that accidents happen and that Marina wasn't properly trained and didn't know what she was doing. She also told me that AnneMarie doesn't deal "with things like this" as if my opinion and the way we were treated was below her. Don't go here unless you want to be treated like dirt on the ground. This location has gone beyond downhill since it opened and frankly they should be ashamed. I will never step foot in this location again and I will be sure to tell everyone I know and encounter about my experience. read more

I've been to enough fast food restaurants to eat at them as a last resort. Today I got stuck. Had a 9 year old granddaughter who needed to eat. So we went here. Turned out that this restaurant was way above average for fast food. Real chicken French fries made with little grease AND employees who were cheerful, helpful and knowledgeable. read more

The service was exceptional with they answering all of questions. The food was great for a fast food restaurant better than most it's not for everyone because most of there meals are chicken but that to be expected because it's in there name. Would recommend to chicken lovers. read more

Since it's been open I have gone dozens of times. There food is decent and there shakes a pritty good. What sets them apart is there outstanding service. There always super nice and very polite. The only issue I have had is sometimes there chocolate shakes taste to vanilla like. Could be just me. But besides that there pritty good read more

First time there today (4/3/17). Very disappointed both with service and food. We placed our order and were told our meals would be delivered to us at our table. Our meals arrived separately- first to arrive was husband's order. Later, my order arrived. Then, later, our drinks arrived. It was difficult to enjoy our meal together since it arrived in bits and pieces. Understandable, perhaps, but there were only 3-4 tables with guests-- and it was lunch time! The drinks were delicious-- the food questionable. Husband Had some sort of grilled chicken sandwich-- he liked the chicken but the bun it was on was stale-- hard and dry. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich-- one piece of bread was fresh and soft while the other was stale- hard and dry. The "chicken salad" was actually a blend of a little bit of seemingly mashed chicken ( I guess), chopped hard boiled eggs, and chopped pickles or perhaps it was relish. Small order if waffle fries had 2 whole little waffles and several tablespoons full of small broken and crushed pieces that could not be picked up to eat. Never again. read more

Have been to many, many CFA locations. The drive thru service is horrendous. At first I gave them the benefit of doubt as it had first opened but they have failed each time since. Efficiency and accuracy is not a priority here. I would rather crave it and seek another location while traveling then return to this location. read more

I have been at least 6 times and have been for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. PROS: I think it is clean, I like the food, the playground is a nice option for my young kids, clean bathrooms,app is easy to use. CONS: the service is absolutely heinous and weirdly getting worse as the months go by - not better. I excused bad service initially as they were just getting started and were busy - but now the service just sucks. Example 1. I ordered a catered breakfast for my office (over 225$) on the app to be picked up at 715am. When I went to pick it up it was a solid 50 minutes late. No apology. They just seemed overwhelmed with life so I let it go. Example 2. How do you keep running out of Chicken sandwiches???!! Your name is chick-fil-a! Twice I have waited in a long line - ordered a spicy chicken sandwich only to be told at the window that they are out of spicy chicken! Don't worry they hand out free vouchers every time they screw up - which is all the time! My wife thinks they pulled out the A team after the initial set up and I agree. Not a ton of options late night cape fast food - but just be warned about the service! read more

Okay, I've eaten here 3 times and wanted to share my experiences and tips. The first time I had breakfast. Frozen coffee was incredible. Hash browns were nice and hot and just the right amount of salty. Chicken was nicely seasoned and a nice portion. But are you supposed to eat it like that, there is nothing on it. Do you ask for sauce? They never asked me if I wanted any....2nd time, dinner. Again frozen coffee was delicious. Waffle fries hot and tasty. Spicy chicken sandwich not so much. Again, nothing on it, nobody asked me if I wanted anything on it so it was really dry....third time, breakfast again. This time I ordered chicken with egg and cheese, big improvement. When I order lunch or dinner I'll get cheese and some sauce. Only problem this time was the time it took to get my meal. It took forever. My frozen coffee came right out but their were only two people in the dining area. Maybe the Drive thru was busy, I don't know. When I finally got my food I got a coupon for a free sandwich and she apologized for the delay. So it was taken care of but geez, don't make customers wait that long if you aren't busy. I used the catering side of Chick-Fil-A tonight for my daughter's sleeping over. I purchased a tray of chicken nuggets for 50.00 and it was worth every penny. The tray was piled high with yummy chicken. They gave us two different dipping sauces and all the paper goods. YUMMY! So impressed. read more

The food at Chick-fil-A is really good and for the most part the customer service is good. I grew up in the south and really missed having a chick-fil-A around. I was so excited to have one come to the cape. Recently I had a bad experience with them. I went through the drive through and didn't get the change I was supposed to get back. I didn't notice until in checked my receipt when I got home. I called them and let the supervisor know my situation she told me I could come in the next day to receive my change. when I went the next day they said I couldn't get the ten dollars because they counted the draws and they weren't over. I found it unbelievable that a Christian origination wouldn't keep their word but when I once didn't get 50 dollars back at stop and shop that I was supposed to get back for change they just gave it to me without asking.
