What's not to love about Chick-fil-a's food? Everyone knows they make a great chicken sandwich. And my kids love their nuggets. However, this location is the worst for trying to get in and out during peak times. The drive thru line blocks the lane to get thru the lot since there is only one way in and out, and only one lane. So if you want to dine in, expect to wait in the drive thru line for a little bit anyways. (Not to mention poor Off Broadway that shares a lot with them.) I came on Halloween evening to pick up a mobile catering order (their app is so easy and convenient BTW). To my dismay, it wasn't ready on time and they made me late for my party. It took them about 10 extra minutes, and after that, they forgot the plates, napkins, sauces, etc. that I requested in my order. I have been going to this chick fil a since I was a little kid (21 now) and it has seriously gone downhill. The last 5 times I've been here they've messed up my order. I always mobile order so I don't understand how they're getting it wrong when it's on the screen right in front of them. One time my boyfriend drove all the way back because his chicken wrap was stale and inedible and instead of just apologizing and replacing it they argued with him because he took literally one bite out of it. This place is terrible! I usually go to the Woodbury location and they are extremely sweet and attentive. I came here for breakfast and I ordered a cherry berry sunjoy. It was made incorrectly and I told the lady at the front counter. The lady proceeded to tell me it wasn't made wrong and kept telling me the recipe. I told her this tasted like lemonade with cherry. She continued to tell me it was made correctly but would remake it. I asked if she could remake it and she walked away whispering with her coworker. I like this Chick-fil-A branch, it is well maintained and operated. If they forgot to put salad dressing on a delivery, or take out or missed an order, give them a call and they will replace if you bother to come back and get it. My son ordered 8 pcs chicken nuggets And and a chicken sandwhich and waffle fries this evening to go. When we got home , I was disappointed to the size of the rest of the nuggets. Chick-fil-A is not cheap, they served better tasting food and the restaurant and service is good as well-- I can say it somehow justify the price. But for me to pay for like 4 nuggets of the usual "size" and the rest that is supposed to be another 4 pieces-- they looked like the crumbs or the nibblets like half of the regular size, like what seems to be the pieces that fall off when you fry them... is VERY DISAPPOINTING. I know prices of food skyrocketed because of law of supply and demand but I Just want some fairness. Your employees in-attention to order details is inexcusable. On almost every single visit to this location, something is wrong or missing. Recently I ordered a deluxe sandwich without tomato and it was made with tomato. I came through the drive thru this morning and ordered a meal with 2 buffalos and 1 ranch and the bag had 2 ranch and 1 buffalo, even though it was stipulated correctly on my receipt. This has been happening at this location for years. The food is delicious, but come on, your employees are either poorly trained, or they are trying to move cars so fast that they don't take time to ensure order accuracy. If you are coming here just for the food you should be ok. The food is consistent. But this rating is all about the service. Simply stated, it has gone downhill. There are too many employees who are not friendly and just want to rush you through the drive through line and not be either helpful, friendly or memorable. I have been to many different locations being a Red member and this is the worst in terms of service. It use to be amazing but since COVID I think the employees just don't care. On top of this they rush you so quickly through the order they did not give me my water bottle or ice cream for my daughter. This is unacceptable. There is simply no reason to rush through my only chance for an experience you will have with your customer who is paying $ and willing to stand in an already outrageously long line to get food. Unfortunately this is my home location as I live down the street. Unfortunately for Chick-fil-A Irvine, I will now drive out of my way to go to the Tustin location. If you care about your service and reputation that is suppose to be best in industry, please address this issue. Deluxe Chicken Sandwich (~$4.50): The deluxe sandwich comes with cheese, pickles, lettuce and tomatoes added onto the sandwich.
