    Chicken breakfast sandwich
    Edward C.

Cleaning staff needs to be better trained and more diligent. We waited for a while to get someone to clean the table. He did a very sloppy wipe down and the table and seats still have dirty stuff on them. We also noticed that he didn't clean the other tables that were empty and dirty after he cleaned ours. Breakfast food was still good but they ran out of honey again which is what we like to put on our breakfast sandwich. Overall, it's still an excellent option for chicken sandwich.

Clean, clean, and I mean Clean. That is what I like. The employees take pride in working at this location. They place flowers on the tables, will come around and clean up your used items, or they will refill your drinks for you. The service is better than a lot of restaurants in the area. They upgraded the take out drive through. This is a showcase location for Chick-fil-A. The bathroom are too small for how many people go to this restaurant. The high school kids who frequent the place can get too rowdy for some of who like it quiet, however, this is a great place for lunch.

    Cookies & Cream Milkshake

Got a milkshake kids in the store were just messing around laughing not making a single small milkshake. Made me wait over 20 min for one shake. 1 star because shake was good though.

Given ice cream before the meals were ready. Every time I go my expectation becomes lower and lower.

Update 5/28 Here's my ice cream. Melting as I wait for my food after I've already wiped down the sides once. Yep, they prepped the ice cream first. I asked for a napkin so I could wipe down their counter. And then waited. And then asked for a bag because they were still melting minutes later when my food was finally ready. I was offered a paper bag?? I had to ask for plastic so it wouldn't leak all over my car. Was offered an apology but really? Their timing is always off. Orders aren't ready when promised. Ever. Corporate should pull some data points and help this operator out. Lots of staff, some with nothing to do. Seemed unorganized per the usual. This store operator must not be engaged - I can't imagine any business owner letting performance like this slide. 2023: Let me start by saying we eat at CFA once a week. Crazy work and sports schedules, we are a fan of this chain. This location, however, is a poorly run franchise. So disappointed by my latest visit - the franchise operator was there by the way, and made no attempt to interact. Placed a mobile order at 11:37am on 5/30/23, arrived and then waited over 20 minutes inside the restaurant for it to be prepared. For some reason it didn't come through on their computer so they never started it even though I initiated pick up through the app. That must be why so many other people were served before I was. Take it home only to find that there were no sauces included for the nuggets or sandwiches. My salad was missing the dressing, toppings, and utensil. Because we like condiments, I called the restaurant back to let them know I was coming in to get a new salad as it had now been 25 minutes since I picked up my order. Nobody on the phone apologized to me, and when I arrived nobody apologized to for me having to come back due to their mistake. Only saying that it was my fault that I somehow did not ask for sauces. I then asked, well the salad comes with dressing, doesn't it? Was given a new salad and dressing as ordered, but no apology. Just very poor customer service, so many locations to choose from, I will not be coming back here. If you're out and about in Irvine, avoid this one.

When is the chick fil a on jamboree going to reopen?

I'd like to know that too!

Is the kids play area open again?

    Yes it is

Why is this location completely closed on a Monday? *They were actually closed because of a Covid outbreak, in their store.

They were closed after Christmas perhaps as an extra day for the holiday.

Pacific Catch did not disappoint!…read more We landed one of the coveted outdoor dining tables for lunch, and the whole afternoon had the perfect Aloha Friday vibe. We started with a pitcher of Mai Tais, which were definitely a little boozy in the best way -- and somehow lasted the entire length of our casual two-hour lunch. Our server, Erin, was extraordinary. Friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel easy and relaxed. My table guest and I split everything, which was the perfect call. The guaca-poke was so yummy and a great start. Then we shared the two-taco platter with sea bass and steak, plus a side house salad. Full flavor, fresh, and the perfect size to split without feeling too heavy. And because we clearly make excellent lunch decisions, we finished with a one of a kind dulce leche spring roll . Worth it. Will I come back? Yup. Pacific Catch continues to be a solid go-to.

Like Gene, the serrano ahi poke bowl with wontons was the "go to" for every visit. Another fan favorite was the guac-poke with wontons. Well, wontons were removed from the menu altogether, and the serving size of the ahi is half of what it used to be. Not sure if this was a local decision or corporate decision, but it was a bad one! Second faux pas on the new menu is the removal of black beans with the taco plate. Now your options are fries or a salad. Who orders fries or salad with tacos? Black beans are so cheap. Even if you charge $1 for them, you're making money. Doesn't make sense to remove them. Oh, and the 3 taco plate is no longer an option. You can only get 2 tacos now. Third questionable decision ... eliminating the miso salad. The bartender told me that the house salad on the menu is the same as the miso salad. They mean the same thing. When the runner delivered what I thought was the miso salad, it looked different. So I asked her if this was the miso salad. She said no, that is no longer on the menu. So .... ya. Another big change for me was the removal of my favorite wine, the chenin blanc. The other whites are subpar IMO and not worth the drive over there ... especially with all these really poor menu changes. So now you know why I'm looking for a new happy place. If you know of any open air, fresh fish places, please DM me. Thanks! P.S. I went back and forth between giving 2 stars and 3 stars. The employees here are really exceptional. And I didn't think it was fair to give the whole restaurant 2 stars because their culinary executive is absolutely clueless.

Once you order, you can choose a seat inside or outside in the plaza. We opted for inside. I got the blueberry lemonade and it was a good mix of tangy and sweet! Highly recommend if you're not in the mood for coffee/matcha. I ordered the chicken koko mono and it was DELICIOUS! The chicken was breaded with panko which made it really crispy and a fun texture. The rice had the same gravy on top of it. The mac was also classic and great.
