This is my go-to Chick-fil-A in Irvine and Tustin area. I go here too much. I always do drive thru though and it's super painless. My favorite to get is the Chick-fil-A sandwich but with pepper jack cheese and then a large fries. If I'm feeling splurging, their iced coffee with vanilla is not bad, either! We love chick-fil-A but today's visit was very disappointing. I was there at 9:52 pm and bought a salad ( which is my favorite item at this restaurant) I always get the Cobb salad , I usually go to the location in Santa Ana on 17th st or the one in Costa Mesa which is by my work, but today I was in the market place and decided to go to this location. My salad was half of the plate , I know how they always serve it so I know that what they gave today wasn't the right portion, I ordered some fries also , the cashier asked me if I like some sauces to go with the food and I said yes I like CFA sauce, ranch and buffalo and she said yes . Stephanie helped me and was so kind! She was very quick and courteous when I ordered with her. I tried the new Cloudberry Sunjoy sweet tea/lemonade drink and it was pretty tasty! Can't say I've ever heard of cloudberries but I was here for it! No refills on it unfortunately though! I just had a breakfast biscuit sandwich meal and it was delivered to my table quickly. The meal itself was hot and fresh and I was feeling satisfied when I finished eating. Perfect to get my day started. I'm sick and tired of drive through orders being fulfilled before online orders where I tell them on their app that I'm here already. It makes no sense that I click on the app to tell them I am there before I even arrive so that I think I might have some chance of the order actually being ready when I get there. But despite the app saying that they are starting to prepare the order as soon as I clicked that I arrived I have to go there tell them that my order is and then a couple minutes later they might actually start preparing it well in the meantime people are just breezing through the drive-through they got here way after I didn't already have their order. read more

Terrible food and service. I ordered 2 Smokehouse chicken sandwiches with bacon. The bacon was rancid. I called and Claudia told me that it wasn't rancid because the longest that they allow the bacon to sit out is only for one hour. However, the bacon had a strong odor. I drove back to return the sandwiches and fries. I got in the car just to realize that they didn't replace the fries that were in the boxes with our returned sandwiches. This time I went through the drive through and was told at the window that the previous associate gave me free sandwiches so in turn I don't get another order of fries. I told him I had already paid $32 plus dollars, so no it wasn't free. However, Claudia the manager comes to the window. She appears upset and annoyed. She asked, all you need is two fries and I said yes. She gave me the fries, she nor any of the associates that helped me at the window didn't apologize for their misunderstanding nor for the old bacon. Terrible customer service. I spent over $100 and they forgot 2 meals. Luckily I checked my bag before driving all the way home. They made me feel like I had stolen the items when I told them they forgot to add my 12 count nugget and wrap. They took all the food out which is understandable but they had it layed out on this wet counter. The man helping me apologized but a worker named Vanessa came and made it seem like I was scamming them. Ma'am I'm getting food for my family after a long shift and long week. I don't have time to pull into the store and spend 10 mins having the workers touch all my food and make me feel like I was the one in the wrong. If someone is spending $123 on food I would hope they would triple check that the order is correct. Vanessa didn't offer an apology. Our go to Chick-fil-A since it is the closest to our home. Consistently very good every time. Our go to items from the menu: the chicken nuggets, spicy chicken deluxe sandwich, mac and cheese and of course their milkshakes. The chicken is consistently of high quality and pretty delicious. The Chick-Fil-A milkshakes are the best fast food restaurant milkshakes around and I don't think it is particularly close. What I really appreciate from this location is that the service is consistently great, whether we eat in, do take out from the app, or go through the drive through. read more

I've heard good things about Chick-fil-A, though this was actually the first time I tried it! We were driving back from Irvine and stopped at the drive-through. I had already had chicken that day, so instead of going with an obvious choice I stuck with a cookies 'n' cream milkshake. This place, right off 'the 5', seems like a really busy stop. The line generally moves quickly. Employees walk out to your vehicle with an iPad/tablet to offer a menu, take your order and then hand you your receipt. You pay once you drive up to the window. The process was a bit slower for our group of 4 because the employee billed us the wrong item. This was fixed easily when we drove up to the window to pay, but the cars had already started to gather behind our vehicle. The milkshake was really thick, essentially a liquid icecream. It was good. Next time I'll have one with fries or chicken fingers because it was a bit simple to have alone. Overall very tasty though. read more

Placed an order online to redeem a free chick-fil-a sandwich. Ordering online does not speed up the order since you still have to wait in the drive thru line, which is pretty long. It took maybe about 15 mins to get my order. The staff wasn't super friendly, and they didn't seem happy. When I got home to dig in, I overall enjoyed the sandwich. It was still hot, and the piece of chicken was a good size. The chick fil a sauce was delicious as always. read more

Ordered some spicy chicken deluxe sandwiches in the drive thru today. When we asked for buffalo sauce a fella named Matthew was training a girl and he told her to tell us they were out of it. Also, right before he told her to tell us , he laughed and smiled at himself? This is the worst chick-fil-a location I have ever been to. My boyfriend's chicken sandwich and my chicken tenders were burnt. Our experience here last night was terrible as all the employees completely ignored us even though the store was empty. There were about five employees that made eye contact, but none of them asked if we have been helped or needed anything. When my boyfriend tried walking closer to the counter and called them, the employees walked the opposite direction. After five minutes, there was one employee that was clocking out and told the cashier to help us. Chick-fil-a use to be one of the best fast-food chains, but it has sadly gone downhill over the last few years. This Chick-fil-A has reopened after a much long hiatus of fixing whatever they did. I believe it was the drive thru and interior but this is just a review of my drive thru experience on 5/11/24 at around 1130AM. There's plenty of parking if you decide to go and dine in so that's nice. The drive thru is one big loop that's at the other end of the building, versus where it used to be more towards the beginning which is a welcomed change as it would get really congested near the entrance. The drive thru wasn't too busy and I placed a mobile order which is a great way to order everything you want ahead and earn points towards their loyalty program. There was only another 4 cars ahead of me and at some point the drive thru did clear out. However, I've seen this drive thru get really long and you could be waiting quite a while for your food and probably better off going inside and picking it up. My greatest disappointment was finding out that my drink was the wrong size and I had no pickles on my order and I found a lot of pickles on my sandwich! I am not a pickle person and disliked my sandwich just because I hate the taste of pickles. My drink was great but unfortunately I think they gave me a small when I ordered a large. Also on my receipt on the bag it did show no pickles. Interestingly enough, the car in front of me handed back a drink that looked like a large AND when they left, they actually had to go back through the line because of something that messed up. So looks like I'm not the only they messed up. While I normally love Chick-fil-A and they pride themselves on service, I felt like this location was not up to snuff compared to the others I've been to. Also overlooking my food preferences and having a disappointing sandwich led to this 3-star review and hoping they take this feedback and improve on this as it just reopened and would hate for them to already be lacking these Chick-fil-A standards that many have come to expect. read more

Sat in the same position of 3rd car from the drive thru window for 15 minutes. Asked nicely if they could throw some nuggets in the bag after just sitting like I did. A manager came right over and said "if we gave nuggets for that we'd have to fill the parking lot with cars and make them all wait for them." The line is back up and running just fine, and there were maybe 10 cars total waiting. I don't think it would have broke their bank to be compassionate when a customer is asking politely.
