I admit I was lured into Chick-fil-A because of the addition of the chicken and waffle sandwich. I don't generally like fast food, but I thought since it's Chick-fil-A they usually do things fairly fresh. I'll give it a chance. Food-4/10. I got the chicken waffle breakfast sandwich with the hashbrowns and a s'mores frosted coffee. If it had not been for the coffee, my review would've probably been a lot lower. Usually, I don't like their frosted coffee drinks or iced coffee drinks because they don't taste very good to me, but the s'mores frosted coffee came out pretty decent actually. It definitely drinks more like a milkshake. As for the actual star of the show, the chicken and waffle breakfast sandwich, I was pretty disappointed. The waffle itself was soggy and limp. The chicken was rather dry and it obviously been on the waffle for a while because the breading was mush on the inside. Meanwhile, the bacon was dry. As for the hashbrowns, I find it ironic that they say "crisp bites of pure delight "on the box when the actual hashbrowns are just a bit of a soggy mess. Overall, not the best breakfast I've had. Service-10/10. While the food was lacking as always, Chick-fil-A moves people through the drive-through fast and cheerfully so I have to give them that. Atmosphere-9/10. It's a typical drive-through fast food experience. Easy to access and easy to get in and out of the drive-through and the parking lot and the restaurant looks to be kept quite clean. Overall, typical fast food experience I didn't really enjoy it. I had hopes that since it was Chick-fil-A that they would do well with the chicken and waffle, but I don't think it comes off well for a fast food joint. read more

We go through the drive-thru at this location weekly when we are in the area. The service we receive here is friendly and accurate. One young man stands out in particular, Garrett. He always made us feel "extra special" by greeting us by name, waving from inside, delivering food to our car with "have a blessed day, be safe." We found out Tuesday evening that he is moving on to be a Youth Pastor. God will use this young man in great ways. He was a blessing in our lives. We will miss him. read more

We were picking up food for Grandparent Day at Mandarin Oaks for Bingo. This is where our granddaughter wanted her meal. I ordered the side kale salad, 5 grilled chicken nuggets and a medium drink it was $11 something; not worth it! The salad was not bad but the nuggets were small! Hubby got a chicken sandwich deal and ordered a milk shake with it. All this was to go snd guess what...they forgot the milkshake. Everything was bagged so we didn't open it up and look but maybe we should have?!? After our bingo we went back and they gave my husband his milkshake and a coupon for a free milkshake and free meal. I passed by this location several times but hadn't got a chance to stop by until this morning. It was not busy and they made our order very fast. I had the chicken minis with a side of potato waffle fries, I substituted the drink for a small hot coffee. My sister ordered the chicken avocado wraps which is on the lunch menu but they were able to make the order for her within 7 minutes, so that was pretty good. I love that they have the kids table cover mat on each high chair, so that was very thoughtful of them. This location has a unique rustic table and chairs set up in the middle of the restaurant, which looks great with the matching light fixtures on top. Our foods tasted fresh and delicious. My little enjoyed his waffles fries and chicken minis dipped polynesian sauce. My coffee was hot but very rich and I added half & half milk and creamer, so it was perfect. The wraps were tasty as always and made with very fresh ingredients. The cashier was very sweet and accommodating to all of the changes we made in the order, so that made our morning better. So I'm not a fan of chain restaurants, but in a pinch we will frequent Chick-fil-a. I'll start by saying since we moved here the staff there has always been exceptionally nice. In the past five or so months there seems to be an issue with getting our order correct. My wife is probably one of many who orders a chicken club with no bun, but for some reason it's hard to comprehend. I want to blame it on COVID, they started slipping before then. I have a hard time understanding how you repeat the order yet, it doesn't come out close to correct. I know they are working under some strange and stressful conditions, but if they would just take the extra second to confirm what's being added (or missed) from the bag they would be back to a five in my heart and review. read more

Stayed in line for about 10 more minutes with a crying baby and hangry toddler in the back of my car. I placed a mobile order at this restaurant for dinner because I hadn't eaten all day as a result of running back and forth to the hospital for my father, who had a major accident and was (and will be) undergoing several surgeries today and the next few days. I was on my way to walk his dog and grabbed my first meal of the day at 6:30 pm. I got to his house and pulled out my order, which wound up being someone else's order (my name was on the bag; I didn't pick up someone else's order by mistake). I immediately called the restaurant. No answer. I walked the dog, came back, called again. No answer. I headed back to the hospital. Over the next hour and a half, believing they would want to correct the issue, I wound up calling SIX TIMES with no answer before getting an answer 2 hours after my order. I explained the situation. I requested a refund because I was now on the other side of town and did not get to eat still at this point. The manager on duty (Grace) showed zero empathy or concern for the fact that I had to spend 2 hours chasing them while dealing with a family emergency, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, and refused to refund because I did not return the food. That they gave me incorrectly. I was astounded to say the least. To explain that I am in the midst of a family crisis, while still attempting (and believing!) over the course of 2 hours that they would immediately correct for me with an apology, I'm treated as if I am trying to pull one over on them. How much was my order you ask? It must have been for a huge, substantial amount to be treated with such suspicion, yes? My order was a whopping $9.02 with tax. So, thanks CFA Mandarin. You've shown me that I am not worth $9.02 as a customer to you. And that you're heartless and completely without empathy to boot. *****I urge everyone to avoid this restaurant. Whoop Whoop! It's finally here! 5 stars for awesome customer service, food was super fresh and hot, quick to receive my order after placing it and cleanliness. I can honestly say that the spicy chicken sandwich I received was the best one I have ever had from a Chick Fil A. Kudos! 4 stars for location-It's right off of San Jose Blvd and easy to see from the road but not easy to get to (in my opinion). 3 stars-The parking lot is not big enough, and it is very difficult to get into it. This location has two drive thru's which is better then one (or so you would think). Placing my order proved to be a bit of a challenge. I could hear the attendant talking to the car next to me and the volume of her voice was the same so it was difficult to decipher which attendant was talking (mine or the other window). It also seemed as though they could hear each other because they would pause during sentences and ask for you to repeat what you just said. This is a chick Fil-a that was built from the ground up. Just opened recently, we went inside and it is very nicely decorated, still looks like chick Fil-a But a newer more modern look. OMG! What did I drive into? I was looking for a quick and typical experience but once I pulled into the parking lot that I was committed and needed to ride it out. The parking lot was complete chaos at noon. I finally decided grabbing a parking spot and going inside was a better option than the drive thru. Once inside the average person could be easily intimidated by the 100+ middle schoolers and their moms but it all worked out. Chick Fil A has a proven process to take orders and quickly serve customers. They excel at politely and efficiently taking orders, keeping the restaurant tables clean and flipped for the next guests and serving accurate orders for a bunch of customers! Bravo!! The food quality is above average and consistent across the chain. I particularly love the fact that they respect Christian values and remain closed on Sunday. read more

I try hard not to be overly dramatic but this is the best Chick-fil-A that I have ever visited, and I've been to a lot of Chick-fil-A restaurants across the country. Why is it the best? It does everything well and really stands out for service. I am seriously curious how they keep the entire staff (100%) in a steady state of politeness and willingness to serve. This restaurant should be studied in business schools across the country because it really is amazing. You would think that once in awhile they would have a bad employee or someone would have a bad day. But somehow, that is never my experience. Just this morning I had placed my order and was walking to a table and was waiting for an employee to finish sweeping up a small bit of trash on the floor. It took all of about 5 seconds but when she turned around and saw me she immediately apologized for being in my way. Amazing and honestly there was no apology needed. These employees might as well be Canadians they are so darn polite. The sweeping incident is but one of many examples. I don't see this type of politeness and customer focused attitude in some sophisticated restaurants let alone a fast-food restaurant. These employees truly seem to understand that they are there for one reason, and one reason only: to serve the customer. I am amazed and impressed. It shows us all that no matter what your job, sweeping floors, frying chicken, or building rockets for NASA, you should always do your absolute best. I have more respect for someone that sweeps floors with excellence than an entitled, highly trained person that works with disdain. Whatever the secret, this restaurant should be a role model for all others. A fast-food restaurant does not get any better than this one. Excellent job and please keep it up! read more

Me,my wife and mother in law went into the drive thru to get some food from chick-fil-a. We get our food and go home to eat, my wife opens up her zesty buffalo sauce to use and she finds (in the picture) something weird we still haven't found out what exactly it is (maybe someone in the comments knows). So my mother in law and my wife decide to go back to the restaurant to tell the staff about what we saw. So they get to the restaurant and my mother in law asks for a manager, the manager that shows up is Morgan and from what my 2 Ladies say about her is she was rolling her eyes , huffing and puffing just making it seems she doesn't want to be there. I've never experienced anything like this from chick-fil-a before or even heard anything bad until tonight my wife and mother in law were in shambles coming back home because they were sad Morgan (the manager) were mean , rude and nasty. I love Chick-fil-A. I am specifically impressed with this particular location. I drove up on a Friday, two weeks after it opened, around 6:30pm... Prime time for people picking up dinner for the fam. It was Crazy Crowded. They have TWO drive thru lanes, and the parking lot was full. I thought briefly of going somewhere else, but couldn't. You see, we had a date night planned and this was dinner for the babysitter and baby and I was already running late. I had been riding on fumes, and was truthfully too scared to go anywhere else before refilling my car's gas tank, so even though I didn't want to wait in line, I really had no choice. I was resigned to the idea of waiting 15 minutes or more. I got to the front of the line so fast, I didn't even have time to check in on Yelp. I stood to the side and leaned against the wall... pulled out the phone, thumbed through to Yelp, " Ma'am? Excuse me Ma'am?" I looked up in complete shock to see the manager handing me the bag of milk, fruit cups, fruit parfaits and hot and tasty nuggets I had just ordered. The cold stuff was in one bag, and the hot in another. Small detail that makes a big difference. I might have snuck a nugget on the way home... If I did indeed sneak said nugget, it may have been juicy tender and well seasoned... That's assuming I had snuck a nugget... which would have been totally not okay... Despite this, they had their robust staff fully functioning and working like a well prepared team aught to be. Orders swiftly taken well down the line allowed for food to be ready by the time you rounded the building, food delivered to cars in the line because their order was actually ready before they got there, and one directing traffic while courteously requesting patience as he gave everyone a fair spot in line. Also, I watched as he was provided with water as he stood in the sun. Seems to me management is looking out for its own. I came to this chick fil a when they first opened and were giving away the free frozen lemonades. Soooo good! I love those things! My first experience was great. They were busy because they had just opened but it was great. Now they have been open a while. I went tonight to let my son play in the play area and to eat some dinner. I was constantly swatting nats away from my face and my salad. I understand they have a lot of fresh lemons in the back because of all the lemonade they make. But it was not a good feeling swatting nats or fruit flys (Whatever they were ) while I was trying to eat. On another note the staff and the manager or owner were all very polite and helpful. Someone had spilled chocolate milk in the kids playhouse and one of the employees happily climbed inside to clean it out. She even played with my son. And got him to go down the slide a few times. A few things that make Chick-fil-A special in general. Excellent fried chicken, great service, and the waffle fry. I don't think they make Chick-fil-A's fast enough to keep up with the demand! Chick-fil-As generally earn a 4-4.5/5 star rating in my mind as in general they are a step above all other fast food restaurants. This place meets everything that makes Chick-fil-A great and then some, hence the 5 star rating. The service is phenomenal. One time, our food came out about 5 minutes later than we might normally expect. To make up for the inconvenience, we received a complimentary gift card for a free premium sandwich. We didn't even say anything. The manager just gave the gift card. On another occasion, we thought our car had been scratched by another car in the parking lot and we asked if someone might take a look at the security footage. One of the managers spent about 10 minutes combing through the film. These are but two examples of the ways their team goes out of their way for their customers. They do all the small things well which usually means that they do the big things well too. Always generous with sauces (I've noticed a lot of fast food joints skimp on sauces. Not Chick fil A). Secondly, this place is busy! On Saturdays, you might think you are in the middle of Times Square about to eat at hot local joint. You are actually at a Chick-fil-A in Jacksonville. They must have 20 people working in the back and 10 people managing the line, but that Kitchen bustles. The drive through is ridiculous as well with workers outside with tablets taking your order. You'll have your food in no time. And the food is exactly what you would expect. Everything is made hot and fresh that you'll typically get fresh fries straight from the fryer and a sandwich that is warm not because it was on a warmer but because it was actually just prepared. The freshness is palpable. Some tips. First, order through the app. Sometimes, this will allow you to get food quicker than when you order through the line especially on Saturdays. 2nd, scan your membership in the Chick-fil-A app every time you order. We probably go to the Chick-fil-A restaurant on San Jose Blvd. nearly every day. My daughter has to have gluten-free. The grilled nuggets work out just fine for her. So this is something that we do on a regular basis. The problem I always have at Chick-fil-A is that my wife has an allergy to nuts and they cook everything in peanut oil. So she cannot eat anything at Chick-fil-A Other than the biscuits which she really enjoys. This Chick-fil-A restaurant has a great drive through process. I saw the first lady outside in the driveway that I had run my credit card with and walked out to ask if she had run my card. At this point you're sorry manager walked out the side door looking very confrontational toward me. I said what are you gonna do about this she said you just have to go in and wait in line and place your order again. She never offered to help me she never offered to take my order nothing. She is a terrible Manager... one sorry manager. So I went inside waited in line walk to the counter paid for my order received my order and left. Terrible service. Terrible manager.
