There are gas pumps at the front of the building, and behind the building is an area for the 18-wheelers to rest or spend the night in a clean and safe neighborhood. Please don't be intimidated or nervous about going inside the building because it's different from what the surrounding communities have become in Saint Johns. Everyone is very nice and respectful with smiles on their faces. I wish they had a drive-thru, but the delicious chicken is worth the walk inside. I've been using the phone app to order large orders. To feed my 3 growing sons, wife and I require an order of a 16-piece Signature Chicken Box, a 12-piece Chicken Family Meal ( 2 sides & 5 biscuits). I also like to order an extra large order of beans & and rice as well as an extra large fry. It's a lot of food, but it ensures that there isn't a spork fight for the last piece of chicken. The kids fighting interrupt this heavenly feast, and it's worth the extra expense. By ordering so much, I also have some chicken and beans & rice for lunch the next day. Almost everything is always consumed at the first sitting, but luckily, I do have a few scraps to enjoy later. Every time I've ordered from this Popeye's location, the chicken I received had been incredible. Large pieces that were hot even after diving home with the order. The chicken is always "just fried" to perfection. The chicken is the just perfect crispy on the outside and very juicy on the inside. Happy place, comfort food, heavenly delight...... It's all of that. It's what I crave when my day sucks. A few things about this location. At times, I've ordered a chicken sandwich ( I think the best chicken sandwich on the market ), and it wasn't available. Also, check a large order before leaving. I have arrived home without the biscuits. It's annoying, but when everything else is so good, it can be easily forgotten that an item was not put in the bag. Overall, I would never have written so much about a fast food location if it wasn't a fried chicken happy place.

The wasted time, energy and money you provided in exchange for what should have been an easy transaction? Want to break that and have an even worse one? Then I highly suggest you visit this Popeye's!!! I will guarantee you the ordering process will be less than stellar. I can foretell that it will take wayyyyy more time than you could imagine, watching their employees painstakingly do anything BUT fulfill your order. That's not enough? How about the fact that on repeated to-go orders (my shame is your gain) it is my experience you will not receive what you ordered, only to find out when you are miles down the road! Still not enough? How about the fact that when you call the store you never get an accountable person on the phone (you have to leave messages) and never receive a call back! $13 for a basic combo meal that took 20 minutes to get with the wrong order in the bag and no one to talk to to rectify the error. That's a lot of words Scott--I know. in summary, THEY DONT CARE!!!

I really can't believe I haven't reviewed this fast casual restaurant yet…read more We have been going here at least once a week since they opened. The food is great, fresh and the serving size is awesome. They have $15 specials with an appetizer which is a good value. My husband and my MIL almost always order the small salad with gyro meat. It is not the smaller side salad that I order. They have an even larger salad that can be shared. Meat is gyro, salmon, chicken and falafel

Susan and I visited The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill expecting a traditional sit down restaurant…read moreand instead discovered a counter service spot that completely won us over. From the moment we walked in, the space felt clean, bright, and welcoming, with a simple Mediterranean style that made it comfortable to dine in. There was a steady stream of customers coming and going, both dining in and picking up takeout, which immediately told us this place has built a loyal following. The food is where The Great Greek really shines. We started with the four dip combo, and honestly, that alone is worth the visit. The hummus was smooth, creamy, and full of flavor without being heavy. The tirokafteri had a bold kick that built just enough heat to keep things interesting. Paired with plenty of warm, soft pita, it is an easy dish to share and one we would happily order every time. For our main dishes, I ordered the gyro, which I often use as a benchmark when trying a Greek restaurant. The meat was flavorful, the pita was fresh, and the tzatziki sauce really stood out, tying everything together beautifully. The feta fries were another highlight and were hard to stop eating. Susan ordered the Atlantic salmon, and it ended up being the biggest surprise of the meal. It was cooked perfectly, well seasoned, and paired with sides that complemented the fish rather than overpowering it. Portion sizes are generous, pricing feels very fair for the quality and amount of food, and service was friendly and efficient throughout our visit. Even though this is a counter service restaurant, staff brought the food to the table and checked in to make sure everything was just right. We even left with leftovers and dessert to enjoy later, which is always a good sign. What we thought would be a quick meal turned into a really enjoyable dining experience. This is a restaurant we will absolutely be returning to and one we are happy to recommend to anyone looking for great Greek food done well.

They have a nice menu with a variety of burgers, chicken sandwiches and wings, fries and onion rings, and Fountain drinks and milkshakes!! But I am so limited in what I may eat, that I had to ask for a plain hamburger and grilled mushrooms--cooked on a space that that was freshly cleaned off on the grill. I was so wrapped up in explaining this to very patient counterlady McKenzie (I believe) that I forgot to ask for lettuce and tomato. When it arrived at the table--brought singly out by Fernando (I believe)--I realized that I hadn't asked for the lettuce or tomato and I mumbled that to myself. But, I did not ask outright! Lo and behold, not a minute later Fernando appears with a plate of lettuce and tomato. How terrifically caring is that!?!?! And my burger was perfectly cooked and I did not have a bad reaction which means McKenzie got all the instructions exactly right and the chefs did exactly right, too! I thank all the staff very much! My family who was with me enjoyed all their selections, including fries and onion rings. My grandson's milkshake disappeared quickly. (You can get alcohol there, too.) Will definitely be back and will spread the word about how terrific Burger Barn is!!

Service was impeccable from ordering, service and follow up by workers and even the manager. For a burger joint, this is first class. My son is active military so we got a discount. I had the southwest burger which was rich and savory. I would have like my bun toasted that is just me. Also, I ordered fries which had a nice seasoning and were very crisp. I washed it all down with a cookie and cream shake. Our first time at Burger barn. The interior had a old country feel. The menu was a sight for sore eyes. It was big, bold and right in your face. Everyone loved their burgers and the kids did not eat a thing. I have funny grand kids that do not eat hot food. What a treat to have burgers, fries and chicken wings on a wonderful Sunday afternoon.

You may be wondering is this a restaurant review or a fantasy movie review; and let me tell you…read moreit's both. There is clearly a wizard at work here and his name isn't Gandalf. His name is Korey and is the magical owner of the best burger place I've ever been to. Why you may ask? Like all wizards it's not just one spell that makes magic happen but rather a compilation of spells that come together to deliver a fantastically Epik experience. Let's start with the side. Yes you heard me right I'm beginning to talk about food beginning with the accompaniment. In my case I had the pleasure of being accompanied both by my wife AND the most large, crunchy yet soft onion rings I've ever encountered. Not only were they fried to perfection but they were large enough to feed a family..except I'm slightly overweight and therefore attempted to tackle it on my own. Not only was this side spell so delicious, like any great Epik wizard, they don't tell you on the menu the divine size and quality you're about to experience. Oh and one other thing...don't you hate when the onion ring has these strings in it that you either have to pull out your mouth or swallow and hope they don't get stuck in your trachea? Well fear not my fellow yelpers, those don't exist here in Epik land. Ok so what about the burger? Well, this is where I ascended to a new level of being spellbound. I ordered a medium Epikurean burger which had ingredients from lands far and wide away. What was in my burger...Maytag Bleu Cheese-Truffle Mousse, Pancetta (italian bacon), Mushrooms, Housemade Blackberry-Beef Demi Glace, Balsamic Aioli, Scallions, Parmesan Cheese. While the ingredients were 5 star don't let the spell distract you from the main event, the meat. This is no ordinary meat and due to my poor eating habits I typically don't chew well. In this occasion, I chewed no more than 3 times and the meat just melted into my saliva glands. What kind of wizardry is this?! Amazing... We have spent a long time talking about the various food elements but it's time to get to the potion..1/2 sweet & 1/2 unsweetened tea. Pretty normal right? Nope...this struck the perfect PH balance that I had to guess which one I was drinking at any occasion. This potion is one of a kind. It's not every day one gets to meet the grand wizard himself, but I did at around 8pm on a Saturday. He stopped by the table to inquire on the outcome of his spells. Not in an arrogant way but in a curious and genuine wizardry way you'd expect from a man who is buried in reading concoction making books and testing out his creations on his guests. In all seriousness I don't know why this place is rated a 3.8 on Yelp. In fact it's an absolute shock to me almost as if these patrons are in another dimension. Trust me, go to Epik you'll thank me later and maybe you can with a burger to go!

Their new location is just as epic as the original -- maybe even more so. A little bigger, terrific parking, wonderful service, and the same delicious food. We were lucky enough to meet the owner while we were there, and he came out to chat with us. That kind of presence matters. Tons of indoor seating. A beautiful outdoor patio. Easy in and out. And let's talk about the food... Delicious burgers (so many gluten-free options) Their famous gluten-free onion rings (YES, actual onion rings) A new salmon burger that is absolutely out of this world For those of us who are gluten-free -- and especially celiac -- this is not just a meal. It's freedom. It's worth the drive.
