I frequent this McDonald's and it is usually good Wednesday evenings. Today there was no quality control. Walking in, stepping to the counter, being ignored wasn't enough, one employee had to apologize for her language after yelling obscenities out the front door and then walk past me. this is the most expensive mcdonalds in jax. the staff is rude, they couldn't care less about customer service. it's on my way to work. after 3 years they decided to charge me for extra ice. $1.09 per cup. their machine doesn't give hardley any. i order extra bacon on my bacon, egg and cheese biscuit because they give you 1 slice torn in half. numerous times i didn't get extra bacon. i tell them the next morning but they don't give it without charging me. today, after placing my order i sat at the 2nd window for 15 minutes. i checked my biscuit, no extra bacon. they went and got a manager and she was saying there's extra on there. i opened it up. 2 halves. then she tells me it's stuck together. it wasn't. then she tells me to look under the egg, i raised it up in front of her, there were 2 crumbs!! she said "you took it off" !! i didn't hide any bacon. she did bring me a piece. they need to clean the staff out. one morning after ordering, i was the only car in line. the nasty manager told me to wait before taking my order. i sat there again 15 minutes. when i did order i asked the girl at the 2nd window what she was doing instead of taking my order. the girl said she was mopping the floor!! i was still the only car in tghe drive thru. she was intentionally letting me sit there!! go elsewhere! read more

This place is gross. We got spoiled milk with my kids happy meals and brown lettuce on my Big Mac. The soda machine hoses you when you use it, and the staff acts like you're invisible. You can't order at the counter. The app says "table service" but they holler you number, and run away before you can ask for anything like ketchup or napkins. I have been holding off on reviewing this restaurant in the hopes that the customer service here would somehow improve, and after about 15 visits over the last two years folks, we are still at one star status. While the employees change, the same I couldn't care less and lazy attitude is pervasive. 50% of the time they screw up my order, and/or it takes over 20 minutes to get a routine order with few cars in line. For example, today I ordered two sausage biscuits with cheese and an egg McMuffin with sausage. Both biscuits had no cheese, and the McMuffin had Canadian bacon instead of sausage. This McDonalds is pretty subpar even for McDonald's. I don't expect much out of fast food beside being food that is relatively fast/quickly prepared. When I can to this place I went through the drive though. I waited for a good 7 to 8 minutes without any acknowledgement. I drive around to make sure they were open. I then go back through the drive through and had the same result. At this point I figure they are probably training someone and that's what's taking so long so I decide to just walk inside. I again waited...I asked for a milk shake and they told me the milk/ice cream thing has to be refrozen and it would be about 10-15 mins. Long story short....I may be miffed about my ice cream but I still this place had 2 stars before my review so I'm pretty sure my assessment is on par with the rest. We haven't had any issues with this McDonald's. I've never actually been inside, but they are pretty fast and efficient at the drive-thru. From food orders to coffee, I can't lie--they've been consistent for me. I don't ever go with high expectations to fast-food restaurants so maybe my experience has been different from other Yelpers at this location. Overall, I would go back. read more

I used to work here not too long ago, I know there's a lot of reviews that say the customer service is horrible and I understand because it was. The store is literally ran by teenagers the managers don't do shit but go outside and talk. They treat their minor like absolute garbage but want them to work tooth and nail. They want them to do manager jobs but not pay them no more than $10 an hour. And then the few adult employees that actually work there great treated well while they treat the minors that do most of the fucking work like garbage. read more

One of the better McDonalds I have been to. They have new computer stuff everywhere for different ways to order your food. You can use an app and have it brought out to you. You can go in and use the app and not deal with the cashier. OR you can use the cashier which is what I did but was definitely inquisitive as to how the new technology worked. Whatever it does I can tell you the order I got was super fast. Faster than I ever remember. And everything just seemed to go better. The person taking my order was great and efficient. Absolute ignorant, rude and incompetent evening staff. While in the drive-thru, I was behind a lady who was holding up the line for an unreasonable amount of time. Instead of the staff telling her to pull forward or to come inside, they let her sit there for over 25 minutes. Meanwhile, people who had already placed orders, left the line. When I finally pulled up, I told the girl they handled that wrong and should have made her pull up or come in, depending on her issue. The employee closed the sliding door while I was still talking. I opened it again to continue my conversation. A male employee came over and closed and locked it. I arrived at McDonalds at 2pm and got in the 2nd lane of the split drive thru lanes. I watched three cars successfully order in the first lane while I sat there. After saying "Hello" repeatedly I finally was able to get someones attention and order. By the time I paid it was 2:16pm according to the receipt. They then told me to pull over into bay number 2 to wait for "freshly made meat" for my burger. I waited for 17 minutes, I got my food at 2:33pm. I was pretty upset at wasting half an hour and I was starving, so I pretty much instantly bit into my burger. And the meat was cold, they probably cooked my burger and let it sit there for 15+ minutes before walking it out to me. There is a reason I avoid this McDonalds and I will continue doing so read more

I love the new automated ordering system.. we placed our order and chose table service, took a number and had a seat.. I'm not sure if the employees are able to understand the way that is supposed to work. Instead of bringing out our food a very disinterested woman yelled a ticket number to the restaurant. Since I did not select pick up, I hadn't even looked at my receipt number. When I wasn't fast enough to go get the order I wasn't expecting to have to go get she gruffly yelled out my order. I think we all know what to expect from McDonald's as far as menu items goes. I drove through this location so I cannot attest to the interior. My food items were fine, the same uniform quality I receive at any McDonald's location. My issue with this visit was the horrible service. I have worked in the service industry and I realize that the job can be mundane and often tiresome. However, there is a degree of customer service that I expect, even from a place as casual as Mcdonald's. Unfortunately, I was treated rudely by my crew member. I was smiley and cheerful and was given harsh looks and one-word answers.
