Awful service, takes forever; pot holes all over the parking lot, broken menu signs. Awful

This location has the worst employees working there. I stood there for almost 20 minutes (yes stupid me) waiting for someone to take my order, I finally asked if someone was going to take my order and she said Sir you will need to be patient and I said I have CV already been standing here 20 minutes she said well it is going to be a little longer. The Taco Bell tacos looked like they were made in zero gravity. Absolute mess. Sloppy and very unappetizing.

Today was an extremely bad meal across the board, except for a KFC Chicken Breast that was cooked perfectly, tender and good coating crunch. KFC meal had a hard biscuit, fries that were half mushy/half over crisp and gravy had definitely been sitting a long time. Taco Bell Cantina Chicken Soft Tacos (2) order was extremely disappointing and it concerned me enough to have only taken a couple bites before opening both tacos and deciding they may have something wrong enough to discard both. Chicken was actually dark meat, not chicken breast, in both tacos. I thought I may be wrong, so I had husband taste and look at the meat, he verified. In addition to the chicken, the Avocado sauce was left off, skimpy on addition of tomatoes request, which they apparently took that add on as a substitute for pico because pico was missing. I am aware of the current lettuce recall issue but they claimed the red cabbage was included and not available. Fine, better safe than sorry for whatever their concerns are though cabbage reportedly fine without issues. I hate to be so negative because last time I ordered the same Cantina tacos, they were incredibly delicious, which is rare for me to say of most fast food. I think maybe they had an issue in general because it was about 8pm on a Saturday and the indoor ordering & dining was closed. read more

I almost passed it by when Yelp said it had 1.3 stars, glad I didn't. The food was as to be expected for a Jacksonville based Taco Bell, it should have a better rating but it was not that bad. I was told by source that all the Taco Bell's in Jacksonville are owned by one man and he skimps on the serving size and ingredients and it shows, you go outside of Jacksonville and the portions are much bigger. read more

This is NOT a stand-alone Taco Bell. This is a KFC/Taco Bell combo located in Roosevelt Square. Yelp insists that it is a separate entity and will NOT combine them together like they should be. When you go inside, or go through the drive-thru, it is the same people who take your order, cook your food, pour your drink, and bag everything up - no matter if you order KFC or Taco Bell. The cash register takes money for both products. If you want a bucket of extra crispy KFC AND a Taco Bell Grande burrito, you can get both AT THE SAME TIME. So, I've had food from both places, separately and at the same time. (Don't judge me. LOL) It's average for both. The cleanliness inside is average, the food quality is average. The building and it's drive-thru is situated a bit awkwardly in the plaza, so be aware when you enter in from Roosevelt Boulevard and watch carefully for other cars. This location is hit or miss. I've been during lunch and got fairly quick service (around 7 minutes in the drive through) and been here other times and got stuck waiting around 20-25 minutes in the evening. Came here this past weekend and they completely messed up the order, but the manager came up to the counter and made sure it was corrected. Tonight is a miss. My son went in for two tacos and a drink and he's been in there about 20 minutes. The drive through is a cluster also. It's a roll of the dice. Don't expect fast service and you won't be disappointed. read more

This Taco Bell is also combined with a KFC. When using the drive-thru, it's generally pretty quick if there are only a few cars. Sometimes the cars practically get wrapped around the building and they move as slow as Christmas. The food is your standard Taco Bell and it is good. The reason for the two stars is because the customer service here is horrible and also because they do not take very good care of the restaurant. The restaurant is always dirty. Dirty floors, dirty tables, dirty counter, dirty bathrooms. I've been here before when they aren't busy and employees are just standing around behind the counter chatting it up. You'd think someone could come out to clean every now and then. There have been times we've gone inside and there have been no other customers at the counter... there are also no employees at the counter. We just have to stand there and wait. Makes no sense to me how they can just ignore customers waiting to order. We do come here from time to time, but it is definitely not my favourite Taco Bell restaurants, and is actually one of the worst I've encountered. read more

Felt like fast food so tried Taco Bell for a change. Won't be going back to this location again. Drive through order was completely not ours except for the drinks. When I drove back to return it, the manager acted like she could care less and I was a bother. Yelled at staff but did get the correct order remade and handed to me without so much as an apology or smile. Found the inside of the place dirty and staff could care less about doing their jobs correctly or cleaning. Manager, staff take cues from you - take your hoody off and lead appropriately and they will have pride in a job well done too. Disappointing! Suggest you go somewhere else. read more

Orders are consistently messed up. Paid for full size sides and got small ketchup size containers of dried rice and dried beans (I'm talking not even a spoon full of either). Every thing I ordered with refried beans came with literal crusty, dry, bean shavings? I'm not even sure what it was, but definitely not edible. It's one thing to mess up an order or item, but to purposefully serve something that you know you would never put in your own mouth is disgusting. Came here out of nowhere. The staff was nice and friendly. The boy that took my order messed it up a few times . We could tell her was new. when we got home we didn't get something we ordered but other than that 3 stars. read more

I've got to agree with everyone here. We usually do drive thru when we need a quick taco fix.... and there have been issues with almost every visit. I will say, a few times I've had the SWEETEST guy at the window... who is so cheerful and nice, it really makes your day. Until you open the bag... 9/10 times your order is going to be wrong. And it's a little bit difficult to open each wrapped taco before you head home to make sure everything is in order. Last visit, we ordered a few things, including 3 beef nacho cheese Doritos tacos.... and got chicken cool ranch and fire instead. Womp womp. Even with that said, when the Bell is callin', this is the closest location for us. So, I guess we will just treat every visit like a surprise! (Cause you never know what you are going to get.) If you absolutely must go to this location I have to suggest you use the drive-thru. The inside is never clean and we've been in here during slow times... The staff doesn't seem to care if you have to wait a long time to order... They are often in deep conversation instead of taking orders (isn't that what their paid for)... The drive-thru can be slow and I mean SLOW... But it beats eating in filth...You'd think they would clean the floors and tables when not busy.... They don't... This is the slowest Taco Bell on the planet. The drive through line is always backed up, and the interior line is slow. I'm talking it could take you 25+ minutes to wait in line. I waited 12 minutes (4 customers) before I bailed on the line and drove to another Taco Bell location instead. I generally walk in and get to-go, but there have been more than a few times where I just walked out. I've seen other customers do the same thing - either by going in and then immediately walking out, or people pulling up to the drive through but then instantly backing out and leaving. This place is notoriously slow, and I'd recommend if you really want Taco Bell, drive the extra 10 minutes to another location and save your sanity. This place always has problems, either with the credit card machine or the drink machine or some other excuse. read more

I absolutely hate this Taco Bell location. I usually go thru the drive thru and they make me wait 4-5 minutes before taking my order. Even when there is no one in line. Then they will get my order wrong 9 times out of 10. And the shells are always stale tasting. My visit today was the last straw for this location for me. Ordered a fresco style taco salad w/ no meat and extra rice. Opened it up once I got home to very little rice, no beans and no salsa. The kicker- sour cream on top. The employees here have to be the rudest, most inconsiderate people I have ever had the misfortune of experiencing. They act like customers are only coming in to personally interrupt their asinine conversations and goofing off. My wife and I just went through the drive-thru. Ordered the double cheesy Gordita crunch box. Signe was our cashier. I walked inside when I realized my order was incorrect which isn't the end of the world. I ordered the box along with some chips and salsa. She claims she heard a side of salsa. Not sure how you mistake chips with side but okay no problem. My wife accidentally told her soft shell for my tacos in the box. I actually prefer hard shell tacos so that mistake wasn't a bad one so it's all good. I go inside to address the issue of no chips and only a side of salsa. I couldn't make out half of what was said from her but I could clearly make out a shitty ass attitude which I didn't appreciate. I came in was well mannered and she decides to mouth off some bullshit from behind the counter about what was on my receipt and that it was my fault. Clearly she has a hearing issue and an attitude. I know the previous reviews were not so great but I didn't have a bad experience when I went here late night after work craving tacos. I went through the drive through and got the box o' tacos. Since I was still in my work uniform, the cashier was teasing me and gave me extra taco sauce. The bacon chalupa was yummy ... I didn't realize the other two tacos had beef in it so I was not a fan of the other tacos but still tried them out. I'll stick with chicken when going to Taco Bell. This Taco Bell constantly manages to mess up my order. I always get bean burritos and the potato burritos- fresco style. Fresco style means to replace the sour cream with pick de Gallo. I tell them constantly not to put cheese in my order, yet every single time they mess it up. I'm lactose intolerant and cannot eat dairy at all- I guess they have no regard for that. read more

I went there on my way to a meeting. I don't live in this area of town. The girl at the drive-through took my order three times. I only wanted a very simple meal. There was already a line of five people in front of me when I gave my order and this is the type a drive thru layout you can't back out of... Needless to say it took 30 minutes and I sat there in the drive-through that WHOLE TIME because I couldn't back out. They really need to get their act together. I have never sat in the drive-through at a fast food restaurant for 30 minutes in my life! And the best part about waiting that long was that my order was wrong when I got it!
