The absolute worst experience. I was the first person in line, yet they took forever to bring out my breakfast. I ordered an egg white grill meal, and the patty was tiny. Then I was told to drive up and wait in a corner just for condiments--only for no one to bring them out. I had to go inside and get them myself. While I was in there, the employees were just standing around, talking and giggling, instead of helping customers. I wasn't happy with my sandwich and asked if I could switch to something else, but the manager didn't even acknowledge me or my concerns. Never had a complaint at Chick Fil A because I find there service and food to be above average considering the other fast food choices but not this time. If you're looking for a restaurant that allows you to have it your way, this isn't it! They seem to have a tasty little chicken sandwich, with much emphasis on LITLLE! Unfortunately, they don't make crispy fries, nor will they upon request, so roll those soggy waffle fries up before you dip, you may lose half in the process. I am not one for a scavenger hunt, yet they seemed to put me on one anyway. What would I call standing in line for 10 minutes waiting for my name to be called for a drink that was going to be delivered directly to my table? A waste of my time. Not a good experience. I went thru drive thru to get a beverage. First paying cash in drive thru was time consuming. I'm sorry I tried to pay cash. Next time only use card. Second after a long time to get to window my drink with light ice was over half filled with ice. I guess that's better than fully filled, but is it really light ice. When you're traveling and need to stop somewhere outside of Raleigh, NC, this location worked out well! The reviews about the drive through are true (wow is it long -- this is clearly a local favorite during people's lunch breaks on the weekdays), but I have a workaround for that. -- Order Ahead for Pickup -- Order ahead for pickup using the app, park in the parking lot behind the restaurant for the other Shops, and enter the restaurant using the entrance on your left (when Knightdale Blvd is in front of you). In the foyer is the setup pictured. We ordered about 10 minutes ahead during lunchtime on a weekday and I only waited maybe an additional 7 minutes on the order. Score! -- TLC -- Not being from here, I entered (wearing a mask) through the wrong entrance to pickup my order. The restaurant is closed for dining in (pandemic). But how did the super busy staff respond? They warmly asked how they could help me and directed me to where I could wait for my order. I was very impressed and appreciated the response. -- Food -- Our order was correct, and all the food was up to par with what I've come to expect from Chick-fil-a. My family pushes me to get Chick-fil-A despite having missing items every single time. I'm about to be THAT person who sits there at the window, holding up the drive-through digging through each and every bag to make sure everyone's full order is there. When I order salad, they forget pepitos, tortilla strips or dressing, the kids meals are often either filled wrong or missing the toy. Rarely, when we get the kids ice cream instead of a kid prize, they seem to also give us both. Today was a super busy day in the drive thru. It probably took 15 min to get thru and pick up at the window. In previous days they had 2 lanes, today there was one lane and it spilled out into the street. We ordered from the app to save time. Overall we had 2 chicken wraps, 1 chicken sandwich, 3 chicken strips, mac n cheese and med waffle fries. Slow, so slow. The team members taking the order outside are so fast when speaking with you, you can't scan rewards or even barely finish a sentence without them cutting you off. Unfortunately, when we got home the biscuit on my sandwich was way over cooked and had to share my food with her. I called and spoke to Dave which he said it would be replaced. I drive another 15 min the following day only to receive just the chicken egg/cheese biscuit which had 1 chicken tender in it. I expressed for my inconvenience and having to stand on line again, it would be right for both meals to be replaced and I be able to sit and have a decent breakfast with my daughter like originally planned. He didn't comply and I only received the sandwich which was not well made at all!!! As a customer and how expensive the food is, I'm very dissatisfied and would not recommend this for anyone. I moved to Knightdale in 2021 and this place would always either under cook the chicken and really it was horrible. I would placed order on my mobile and by the time i get there it is cold. But it say, when you get here we will prepare. The last time i went there i ordered 3 soups and 2 # 1 and did not get my chicken soup at lunch time. They have lied and said the sauces were in the bag and they weren't. We have ordered using the mobile app and even requested at the window and still drive off with like two sauces for a group of 5-6 people ordering. This Chick-fil-A is the most inefficient one I've been to. It is slow, traffic is awful, and the service is not up to par compared to other locations. The traffic is so backed up at times that it blocks other businesses, and this is after they renovated the location and doubled its drive through capacity. I stopped by today to get a salad and the drive through was long so I decided to inside ( I never ever go inside ). Before I got in line to order I ran to the restroom and that was the beginning of my shocking experience! The bathroom looked like the worst gas station bathroom I've ever been in, in the smallest town on the back street that had no cleaning for the last 20 years #nojoke. Paper towels toilet paper trash everywhere on the floor on the rails on the toilet seats not to mention paper towels hanging out of the box and the soap dispenser not working and trash overflowing I was flabbergasted actually because it certainly was not the experience I'm accustomed to with chick fil a. In the dining room I noticed there were at least 20 employees behind the line and the store looked in disarray. No greeting no friendly feel. I won't go on and on I'll just end saying the only fast food I've eaten in 5 years is chick fil a and in my opinion nothing about this location except the sign on the building was Chick fil a . I always have problems out of this particular Chick-fil-A! This was a simple lunch order. With my order there was supposed to be a large drink but when I got closer to the window a young man brought out my order. I informed him that the drink should have been large and stated that's not a problem at all. I also asked him if he could make it fresh and not pour this medium drink into another cup to ensure that the drink would not be flat. He then stated that he would definitely take care of that. I saw him walk up to the young lady at the drink station and repeat what I said and she nodded in agreeance. I got home and as I was drinking I thought that ice was coming through the straw but when I swallowed something did not feel right. I took off the lid to my cup and there was loose styrofoam floating in my cup. So the whole time I have been swallowing styrofoam and now I feel horrible. I'm not sure how this could happen unless. It seems as if she tried to transfer the drink into a large cup before I fully pulled to the window(sliding doors) and the cup broke up and fell into the new one and I just ingested it. The knightdale location has seen a steady decline since the remodel. The service, quality of food, speed, and all around environment has become that of a convenience store grill. Today was my first visit to the chic-fil-a in Knightdale since the remodel and it was not a good experience. I waited in the drive thru line at least 30 minutes. There were two order lines but they merge into a single line to get your order. When I got the order the waffle fries were cold and tough as if they had been out for a while. This location could get tips from the Lake Boone Trail or Falls of the Neuse locations on how to move a busy drive thru line. read more

I don't normally review fast food but for Chick-fil-A, I will make an exception. It's hard to believe there are some of you out there who have never been to a Chick-fil-A so this review is for you. Throw away your notion of what a chicken sandwich looks like. At this place, the chicken looks like actual chicken breast and not pieces-parts melded together. It's not overly breaded or fried either. The buns are soft and warm too. And to top it all off, get the Polynesian sauce and slather on that sandwich. So. good. Chick-fil-A is also know for its waffle fries. Get you some of those! And if you want a few more calories, their shakes are delicious. Note to self you visit this particular location in Knightdale...it is one of the busiest locations I have ever seen but the staff is so good that they come out to the drive thru line and take orders on a portable tablet and by the time you get to the window your order is ready.
