This Chick-Fil-A desperately needs help with drive thru!!! Every time I come here I sit in the drive thru FOREVER to the point it's ridiculous now. All other locations realize how busy they are and are adding on multiple speakers or at least have people outside taking orders so they can get people in and out quickly no matter how long the line is. IF I come to this location, I've started going inside instead but I don't want to HAVE to do that every time. I've never seen staff outside, only the speaker being used. Please improve your drive thru or people will start going to other restaurants and locations like I have started doing when I see your line is so long. I will drive further to a different Chick-Fil-A so I don't have to sit there for 30 mins. (This morning I sat in line for 24 minutes exactly) Additionally I have tried calling an ENTIRE day to place a catering order and no one answered the phone or returned messages. Hope this location owner knows they are losing a lot of business because they won't answer the phone or messages. I had to place the order somewhere else. Customer service at this location is also not up to expectation. No greeting at the window, just hand me my food and then say something after I say thank you. Take notes from the Lake Boone location. I don't know why but whenever I come to this specific Chick-fil-A I never have the best experience. I go to many different Chick-fil-A's throughout Raleigh and the triangle and I've never had bad service before but I guess there's a first time for everything. For breakfast I really wanted a chicken biscuits so I went to this Chick-fil-A and I got a number one. To my surprise my biscuit was rockhard and honestly was not that warm. I don't know what is up with this Chick-fil-A but I keep on getting disappointed every time I come here. The second issue I had was that I wanted apple juice and they gave me 1 small apple juice box. I understand that corporate probably sets the standards for how beverages should be distributed but I pretty much drank the apple juice in one gulp. Went to chick-fil-a on 5/13/21 at 5pm and ordered 3 12-count nugget meals waiting 15-20 min to receive the meals. I Arrived at home and took out the meals for my husband and 2 children, and 2 out of 3 of the meals had chicken cracklins in the box. There were no nuggets! Called directly after to speak with manager and no one answered the phone. Calling this morning and still no one is answering the phone. It would be best if you do not have chicken nuggets due to shortage that you advise customers of that. I was taken advantage of at this restaraunt and want my money back for these meals. Chik-Fil-A has always been my #1 restaurant for many years. I have never had a complaint with any locations I have visited. So for me to write this complaint is very difficult. My experience on 1/10/2022 @ the Knightdale, NC location had me so upset, that I will not support my local resturant until some things change. The Knightdale location went thru major renovation. New look, new design, great curb appeal. But I waited 1 hour on the drive thru line. Unacceptable. The new design has two order locations, but merges into one lane. from my point of view, I see an accident waiting to happen or an confrontation. There was no personal to direct traffic in the correct order of the line. During 2020-21 at the peek of the pandemic. Chik-Fil-A had implamented by the far the best system I have ever seen in the indusrty, With curbside pic up, newly design app, and employees outside taken orders and payments made the experieince smooth, easy and fast. But with the recent changes, I am highly dissapointed. The line wraps around the complex and into traffic. To say the least, after placing my order for an Chicken Tortilla Soup, I get to the window to pick up order only to be told at that moment my items were not available. So I'm in the bathroom at the Knightdale Chic-Fil-A and my wife knocks on the door trying to tell me something. "Leave me alone! I'm pissing!" I respond, not knowing there's someone in the closed stall next to me. When I hear him start laughing, I finish up and run to the sink to wash my hands, which I did so quickly that I didn't get all the soap off my hands. When I went to throw away the paper towel, my wedding ring slips off and goes straight into the full trash can, lost in a sea of used paper towels. So naturally I try to dig into the trash can while trying not to disturb the resident pooper, who I should note is no longer laughing. I like to think of myself as a pretty thoughtful guy, which is probably what made me drag the entire trash can out of the bathroom and into the dining area. I clearly did not think this through. I finally got the idea to take the bag out of the can and shake it to make the ring fall to the bottom. Just to catch you up, I left the bathroom with a full trash can to make sure the guy in the stall didn't feel uncomfortable with me hanging out in there. Instead, I am flailing around a trash bag just outside the door in full view of CFA patrons and probably an illiterate cow. In the end, I was able to get the ring back and return the trash can to its rightful place. The dude was still in the stall, by the way. Probably had that spicy chicken sandwich. He could still be in there, for all I know. Anyways, the ring is washed up and back on my finger. Also, the Chic-Fil-A in Knightdale is pretty clean and the grilled chicken sandwich was pretty good. Here, you will find consistently backed up and slow drive-thru lanes and if you decide to go inside to save time, well, good luck, because there's only one line open inside. They will NEVER answer the phone and they will NEVER respond to their own means of supposed "caring"... (the cares form). So, check your food and your beverages before you drive away. I started a timer on my watch and I walked in to a sea of spots (cow day) and back out with my lunch in less than 10 minuets! My salads were wilted and my chicken was under cooked to the point that I could not eat it! I called the store and received no answer so I left a message! I then called customer care who said that they could not help me because all Chick-fil-A's were independently owned and operated, and that I would have to resolve my issue with the owner himself. This location is the slowest Chick-fil-A I've ever been to. Chick-fil-As are almost always very busy but they have always impressed me with how efficiently they can move a flood of people through the line. Not this location. Prepare for a significant wait. If you think you'll outsmart it by using the app and doing curbside, you're wrong. I've tried this as well. Beyond the ridiculous way they have the parking lot set up that keeps you from having quick and reliable access to the curbside spots, you'll still wait just as long or even longer, which I experienced twice. I generally love Chick-fil-A and the food is still generally good here but I believe this 2 star rating is warranted by how out of the norm this location is. It makes more sense for me to drive to a location 5 minutes further out of my way. Even with an extra 10 minutes, the other location seems to be faster. This place has the friendliest, most helpful employee's I've ever met at a fast food place, hands down. They are super nice and just a pleasure to do business with. The managers run a great ship, because they keep their employees around and they always seem to love their job. It's super clean, and their is always someone picking up and straightening up after people and keeping the place in top shape. They are super child friendly there, just today I went to get my daughter an ice cream cone and they didn't charge me because "she's so stinking cute, it's on the house." We are there once a week because "chick o lay" is her favorite place. She loves one of the men cashiers because he's always talking to her like a "big girl" and he has a "pretty smile". This location is the worst I have ever been to. The drive through causes a lot of dangerous traffic patterns for that area which isn't the biggest issue. Every time I have visited this location the employees were very rude. They can't seem to get the food right even something as simple as a spicy chicken sandwich with fries and a sweet tea. The chicken sandwich is soggy and gross, the fries are cold and hard, and the sweet tea is anything but sweet. Two stars because food was still good - not the freshest this morning but I understand supply/demand and I was there around 9am...anyways...I'm writing this review about customer service, not food. I drive for Uber and this morning I was so tired after airport pickups...closest place was Chick fil A in Cary/Raleigh and though I detest their coffee (very bitter, hardly palatable) I will drink it when it's the only drive thru option closest to me and I am in a hurry. The only way I can drink it is with lots of sugar and creamer...well...a different CFA that served me the coffee neglected to give me creamer - it was SUPER busy and I'm sure they just forgot...nbd. So later on in the morning, I was heading back to my apartment and decided to redeem the calendar card and get some bfast for my boyfriend when I remembered I still had my CFA coffee in my driver door cupholder, not one sip taken. So I asked for a few creamers at the drive thru and explained that (because I figured it sounded weird to ask for a biscuit and creamer lol) I had already gotten coffee at another CFA this morning but they forgot my creamer and could they add that to my bag. The girl repeated it back to me and said it will be ready at the window... Manager was standing near the window with the girl who took my order. They both kinda had smug looks on their faces (or maybe that was just my perception because I'm having a rough morning) but I had this weird feeling I didn't get the creamer, like they thought I was trying to "pull a fast one" on them and stock up on TWO creamers.... Sure enough, as soon as I checked my bag, no creamers. I go to CFA specifically on bad days because I feel like I can always count on them to be nice to me, and a little bit of kindness goes a long way. What is going on with this restaurant? They have a team of employees outside that make customers feel pretty apprehensive about orders. I don't know about the rest of u, but when someone is jogging along next to me asking me what I want... it's kind of disturbing. First, I need to either have the menu memorized before they walk up to my car... or they give u a small menu and make you feel rushed. On the bright side, customers probably order less food because they aren't tempted by pictures or food items they may have forgotten about when they ordered earlier.
