Theres was a bug on the actual fries, this was a picture when the bug crawled up onto the bag, The employee denied it and said it came from outside, speaking in spanish to her coworkers. Man this place had gone downhill. I take extra time to come here from Lakewood because it's the best teriyaki in town. Now 2 bad experiences in a row!! Fatty chicken, they didn't write my order down when I called so they forgot it, and lied and said they ran out of veggies even though they clearly couldn't find my name, rude ladies running the front and no responsibility taken for forgetting a customer, and now today - burnt chicken and no teriyaki with our order?! Pricey, but good. If you have extra cash if you don't mind spending it, this is the place to do it. Came here bought a combination chicken plate substituted salad with fries and a drink and add avocado $24. The food quality was great. Takeout review: I kind of let this review sit for a bit because I didn't know how I felt about the unusual combo of chicken teriyaki and fries. Sounded like a crazy late night idea at first. It was my first experience with the food at this place. I have a hard time trying new teriyaki spots because I'm very particular about the sauce. I find that, at many casual/quick service restaurants, it's either too salty or too sticky sweet. But I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed the chicken teriyaki bowl. I also tried the beef bowl but didn't care for the beef that much. The massive chicken teriyaki burger was pretty good. It' lives up to its name "massive" and has a lot of toppings so it gets a bit messy. I can't speak to the service or ambience because I ordered through a delivery service. read more

It's been a while since I've dined here and I'm so happy to report that still are one of my favorite spots to grab teriyaki for price and portion. The service is always super friendly and relatively quick and they always have a clean interior space. We found this restaurant because of their yelp reviews were very positive. So it's Sunday afternoon. We're running some personal errands and we are hungry so we stopped in. This restaurant is a fast casual. It's located in a retail shopping center and there's plenty of parking. We really enjoyed the food. Tasty. Chicken was tender and they did not overdo the sauce, you need to purchase more, though. My fish was cod, crispy, and hot. The gyoza were fried to perfection and delicious, definitely would recommend. We plan to revisit it soon!!! read more

Not really sure why this place is rated so highly. It's not bad but hardly over 4 stars. The Teri chicken was chewy as if it was overcooked. The Teri beef was decent enough. Reminiscent of Golden Bowl but those guys just do it better. I will say the sauce is pretty good. Not extremely sweet and not a glob of teriyaki sauce like many places. If the chicken had been better, I would have given them a 4 star rating. Parking isn't too bad but it is in a strip mall so it just depends on the time of day you happen to arrive. The service here was excellent and the food comes out quickly. Possibly already cooked explaining the rubbery consistency of the chicken. The price you pay for the quantity of food is definitely a good value. I might be willing to give them another shot if I happen to be in the area and have a craving for a teriyaki plate. read more

I've been here twice now, and both times I've noticed something frustrating -- the customers before or after me weren't charged for extra sauces, but I always seem to get charged when I ask for extra ranch or teriyaki. It feels inconsistent and a little unfair. I just ask that you apply the same policy to everyone -- no one likes feeling singled out. Leaving a 2 because food was great. Service and ambience needs MAJOR improvement. The man taking our order had a passive aggressive attitude. He asked us if we were ready to order but as we were ordering he was also assisting door dashers and talking to coworkers in the back. Between all his going back and forth, and the music they had playing in there BLASTING; We had to repeat our order about 5 times. While the front of the restaurant SEEMED clean, the horchata machine wasn't. Although, the food was good; customer service and cleanliness is very important to me.
