LOCATION SPECIFIC Ok, so this is an update to my review of the Leeds, AL Chik-fil-a. I specify, Leeds, AL, because I don't want anyone confusing my experience at this location with Chik-fil-a in general. I am a BIG FAN of Chik-fil-a. So, not for the update, I went back the next morning to get my refund and personally give my review to someone in charge. I sat with the young lady in a booth off to the side because I don't want people to overhear things like this. I believe in "teachable moments" and this was certainly one that needs to be followed through on. I explained the situation, and was very surprised at the response. More of the same... In fact, the young lady I was speaking with admitted to being the same person I spoke with on the phone the night before minutes prior to closing. My first thought was that I was impressed that she owned that in front of me. However, that's were the positive impression turned south. She went on to justify why she would not fix the situation the night prior. Mind you, all they had to do was give me my waffle fries through the drive-in window. NOPE... She went on to tell me of the safety issues involved for the staff, blah, blah, and more blah... Safety issues? You forgot my waffle fries. I called you minutes before closing. I was at your restaurant just minutes after closing (having already called before closing to alert you that I needed my fried). Safety was not an issue. However, customer service, care, and integrity, were. So, after realizing that I was speaking to someone who was not going to think for herself, I handed her my sandwich from the night before and asked for a refund. She processed my refund and told me that the next time we wanted the meal it would be on them (assuming that they would get it right this time). I gave her my name and address for the complimentary meals (1 spicy deluxe meal with and additional spicy deluxe sandwich). Well, I got the letter about a week later... Even though she asked me for my name, the last name wasn't even close. What? Then, the letter only covers the meal and not the extra sandwich. Well, so much for the benefit of "teachable moments". They only work for those who remain "TEACHABLE". Apparantly, at this location, they are NOT. Five Stars for the service: Olya took my order. She was kind, courteous, pleasant, and professional! Four Stars for what I ordered: As usual, the food was fast. My only feedback is that I tried ordering the grilled nuggets (for the first time) instead of fried with the intention of eating them as I was driving to Atlanta. I ordered them because I assume they are a bit healthier. I didn't think about the fact that they would not be as easy to eat as fried- the were wet and I had to be extra careful not to drip anything on my clothes. (This was me not using my logic, no fault of theirs.) And then my fingers were wet. It might have been nice to have a toothpick included in the box, for easier consumption. And maybe that would have been included if I had gone through the drive-thru instead of going in where I certainly had access to plastic utensils if I wanted to pick any up. (Again my fault.) But just my thoughts on that. I probably won't get the grilled nuggets again and will return to the trusty and tastier fried nuggets on road trip stops. read more

This location is terrible! I ordered soup and grilled nuggets in the drive thru. They gave me fried nuggets. I called their attention to this at the window and they asked me to pull forward while they fixed my nuggets. While waiting, I decided to eat my soup. As I lifted the soup out of the bag, about half the soup emptied into my lap and car seat. The top had not been sealed correctly. I looked for some napkins to sop up the mess and none had been included. Luckily, I had a worn t-shirt in my car that I could use to help clean up. I waited for over ten minutes for my grilled nuggets. They never came. So I enter the store (with the front of my pants heavily stained) and requested to speak to the manager. I explained what happened to Jacob and he seemed unsympathetic. He explained that a large plate order for grilled nuggets had been called in and they had to cook them before mine. WTF?!? You mess my order up and then concentrate on a subsequent order instead of filling mine properly? It really made me mad so I asked for a full refund. Jacob asked to see my receipt. I replied that it was in my car, soaked in soup. He refused to give me a refund without a receipt (even though half my order had not been delivered.) I trudge back to my car, through a dining room wondering what happened in my pants, and retrieve my receipt. After I arrived home, I discovered that the refund has short $1.67 from what I paid. I submitted a complaint to CFA's customer service website. After 10 days, I never heard another word so I contacted them again. They claimed to have never received my complaint. Finally, two days later, I receive a call from the manager. This is 14 days after the incident. He apologized but never volunteered to make up the $1.67 that was never refunded nor offered to reimburse me for the large stain in my driver's seat. At first, I was ready to just boycott the Leeds location. But, after the way that CFA handled my complaint, I am totally done with them. Sure, they have great food but I can grilled a chicken breast as well as they can and will do so from now on. read more

This Chick-fil-a store is odd for me. They never do a particularly slow job, but the service is very inconsistent. If you were to go to the drive through 7 days in a row, you would have 7 different experiences. Sometimes they rely on the old machine, others an iPad ordering system, sometimes 1-2 teenagers standing outside, other times a manager. None of these systems are particularly efficient or particular slow, but it's the inconsistency that bothers me and doesn't jive with the brand's normal service. I recently have started using the app to order and here and I think this is the key. It's much improved and saves 5-10 minutes every time I use it. This is one of the best places to stop at the Leeds/Moody exit. You won't be blown away by the service, but you won't be offended either. read more

I can always count on fresh, quality inexpensive food with sincere service. I live in the hometown of Chick-fil-a and I'm constantly amazed at how the culture carries far away from S. Atlanta to every store. I needed a good bowl of soup for dinner and that is what I got from a staff that truly work at making me feel welcome. read more

I visited this location while on vacation. I walked in and made a large order. I found a table to sit down thinking it may take several minutes to complete. Before I could even sit down I heard my name called and the order was done. From the time I parked until I left was less than 5 minutes. Really the fastest I have ever been served. Stopped in during a road trip from huntsville to atlanta. Restrooms are clean as all chick fil a restaurants are. Grabbed a quick milkshake and hit the road again. Thats all i got for that stop. read more

We love our Chick-fil-A! Even though they are always super busy the whole staff makes you feel like you were the most important person there. I love the convenience when I have the kids. And they love the play area! read more

Normally you can't go wrong with Chick-fil-A but this location can certainly improve on cleanliness. Got here at 4pm and most of the tables are dirty. Staff was chatting up front as it was mostly empty- we were the only diners. Seriously this is the third time I have came here in the las two months where the bathroom and dining area were dirty. The trash can has something spilled all over the outside, trash in the playground and the play are door was grimy. This is more than one days dirt. Alerted the staff to my table needing wiped off but they started on tables in the far side of the restaurant. Where is the manager????? read more

This is the only restaurant in the Leeds/Moody area that I've never had a problem with. The staff is polite and seem to actually want to do a good job. The orders are put together very quickly and seldom have any mistakes. When they do make a mistake they fix it quickly and without question. The dining room is always very clean as are the restrooms. And of course the food is very good. read more
