Came in for a school fundraiser and had thee worst service EVER. Ordered ice cream and had to wait over 10 minutes to get it. I went up to two people who both said they'd get it for me and never did. I felt like they just told me what I wanted to hear to get rid of me. Finally spoke to one person long enough to just get one excuse after another from her. Apparently we didn't take the number marker to find our table. Then she continued to give me the description of the person who ordered "a girl with a hat and two kids" I said yes. Then I asked her why she wouldn't come to look for her if she knew what she looked like. Apparently it's not their job! I finally just asked her if she can just get the ice cream so I can leave. Not only did I get an attitude from her but she went toward the drive thru and was talking about me to someone else. Very obvious as she was looking right at me while doing it. Then had someone else bring the ice cream to me. Horrible service! I understand that it was busy but I felt that they didn't make an effort. I have been waiting a long time to try this place! To bad it was a bad experience. I ordered the spicy deluxe combo with waffle fries. Waffle fries were soft and really pale. They could've at least tried to cook them. The fried chicken sandwich had soft buns and soft chicken! Really you can't get fried chicken right! The tast was good but the texture was all wrong. I just hop I don't get sick! I also ordered a 4 peice chicken tender meal 9$ that was pathetic! The tenders were very small and soft. Again how can you screw up fried chicken especially if that is you business!?!? WTF! The restroom didn't work. There was sauce on the ceiling. The server kept forgetting stuff. The peach tea lemonade was diabetes in a cup. Do yourself a favor eat at In n Out! I wanted to complain about my order but while I stood there I listened to the employee's personal inappropriate business. The manager was at the register smiling. We came here on dress up like a cow day, and despite them being sorta busy the staff was still on top of it! This was my first time here so I had no idea they helped you to your table, loaded your tray with goodies, and came around while you were eating to see if you needed a refill on your drink. Before I even walked in someone was already holding the door open for me. When I walked in I was welcomed by a chorus of 4 cashiers in synchrony. While waiting for my order I noticed one employee on the floor whose sole purpose was to bring food to the customers. Decided to eat here versus the In-N-Out and El Torito close by. We were greeted by the usual courteous staff. She made sure to read back my order so that nothing would be missed. When our food was brought to the table I noticed that one sandwich was missing. I went back to the front and brought this to the same staff member who took my order. She said that maybe I missed I because they packaged them differently. Come on now, I know how to count. So I made hubby go up and ask for his missing sandwich. I have not been to a Chik a fil a in years! The last time was when there was a chik a fil a inside the Cerritos mall back in the 90's. Yup were talkibg way back in the days. Anyways I ordered the tortilla soup and the original chicken sandwich. The soup is more southwestern style tortilla soup not like the ones I've had at mexican restaurants. I prefer the ones at the Mexican restaurants but theres is still flavorful with a kick of spicy and thicker in consistency. The soup was so filling that I didn't even eat my sandwich. read more

I really enjoy my visits to Chick-Fil-A. Every time I have visited this specific location, the people have been extremely nice and welcoming. The person taking my order is very pleasant, and there are usually several people walking around making sure everything is alright, offering to give refills, and taking care of etc. The food is delicious. It is nice to have real chicken and a large array of sauces. The Polynesian sauce is my favorite, and its close second is the Chick-Fil-A sauce. There is a great area for children, and ample seating for people to eat comfortably. I also highly recommend the peach shake - so good! read more

My husband and I just came in for breakfast which was delicious. However after we finished eating we went up to the counter to get a refill on our lemonade and we saw the manager, Crystal, yelling at her coworker who worked in the kitchen that was getting back from a break- he explained that he told them that he would be outside for his break but she told him that next time he cannot go outside to wait for his food but instead he has to sit inside to wait. I couldnt believe that she was publically humiliating him in front of customers and coworkers. I couldnt believe that that's how the management treats their coworkers at this Chick-fil-A. Usually they have stellar service and friendly atmosphere, but this manager was so rude. It's completely unprofessional and should be dealt with- no one deserves the way that Crystal handled the situation. read more

BAD customer service!!! I always go to this location and order through drive thru. When I go there they always have employees outside helping with orders. They never ask me to offer menu, so I have to ask them to see the menu. Not a big deal. Today this cashier ( I know her name, but will not mention here) seemed not happy when I ordered extra fries at the window. I already paid with my credit card with the person who took my order, so I had to pay $2.06 for the extra fries I ordered at the window. I didn't have any changes so I gave her $5 bill and she gave me a bad look!!!! How rude!!! I was very pleased with the customer service at the one in Buena Park. But this Long Beach location really needs to train their employees how to treat their customers!!! The person who doesn't want to deal with the customers should look for another job! read more

What I thought was going to be a bad experience turned out a good experience. I first complained that they charge 0.15 cents for lettuce, then got over it and ordered my chicken sandwich for eat in. They forgot my food and the others I was with had finished eating. I finally went up to ask about it and they apologized and said it will come right up. Once delivered to my table it was one of the most delicious sandwiches I've had, then the manager brought me a free milk shake for my wait and then they brought me a voucher for a free sandwich on my next visit and the other manager brought me two vouchers for free nuggets! That was a great way to compensate a customer and it was very calming and welcoming customer service. We actually left a tip for the greeters. Been here a few times. It's great food and excellent customer service. Some of the complaints are lazy ass people who choose to drive thru instead of coming inside. This Chick-Fil-A selected our Army office as the local business of the week and treated us to a free sandwich! Very nice of them. This is the best chick-Fil-A I have ever been to. The staff was so amazing and accommodating. My food was picture perfect and the portions were large and fresh!!! Cam the manager was so unbelievable she saw that my fries were not all whole large pieces of potatoes but rather small little pieces and immediately switched it out for hot crag cut large fry pieces!!!!
