We were in town from Pittsburgh for the weekend. We came over for the UFA Championship Weekend downtown. My kids needed their Chick-fil-A fix. We got drive-through one time and came inside and ate another. It was refreshing to have people working the dining room. All the Chick-fil-A's near us no longer have people that are attentive and taking care of the guests out there. The ladies here were wonderful! I also worked at a Chick-fil-A in management six or so years ago. I noticed that the chicken had been filleted really well on both of the sandwiches we had. My kids comments said that it was the biggest sandwich they had ever seen! Big props to you all as the food was wonderful as well as the service. We also loved having a playplace! read more

Again--why do people like this place? Granted, the service is excellent...provided you don't need a refill on your drink immediately because the line is too long. And they give you a cup so jammed with ice that you only get about 3 oz. of actual liquid in it, so good luck finishing your meal with that gross, bready chicken lodging in your throat the whole time. This chicken, at its best, is mid-tier. Hands down. If you think it's the best, you need to get out and experience more chicken. It is a five outta ten on its best day. It was absolutely terrible. A fried chicken sandwich should have crispy breading. The breading on this one was softer than the bread they served it on. The pickles were thin, gross, and pointless. It was absolutely lacking in every way. The waffle fries are all right, but they are just mid. All of the sauces are too sweet. Even the Siracha sauce tastes sweet. They really love sugar down south, and I understand that, but geez--everything is too sweet at this place. Pretty much every other chicken place in Madison puts Chick-fil-A to shame. Chick-fil-a is a solid chain that I come to for reliable quality. The staff on the morning I visited were super kind, patient, and pleasant! Ordered a chicken biscuit, hash browns, and the Greek yogurt parfait. All was good except the parfait... I feel like the picture v. reality with the parfait is quite misleading, and I'm disappointed you get more fruit from a $1 McDonald's parfait. And, more adults seem to work here at all shifts which means less goofing around and more attention to detail. Corporate handled it well, they appear to do this across the board, and I'll say the following: 1. Generous size parking lot 2. Service road entry/exit can be a pain 3. Service is attentive 4. Kale crunch salad and spicy salad + chicken minis are worth it. 5. Yogurt is good but not worth $3-4 6. App order and drive thru pick-up changes are handled well. 7. Curbside pick up available 8. You can change your pick up option upon arrival. 9. Order breakfast in the app and arrive late then your order is canceled via the platform not the humans. Call ahead to ask if they'll hold the breakfast. 10. They will make lunch food during breakfast service but will not make breakfast during lunch. Mac&Cheese is only during lunch unless you're getting catering. COVID measures: they try to remain as contactless as possible like BK. You self swipe and grab your food from a tray at the drive thru. We love this place! The service is amazing. Even if the drive thru is backed up it moves surprisingly quick! That's because they have people taking orders before you get to the board. It is amazing how well cars move. The food is always delicious. Fun fact, you can get just a breakfast filet, $1.88, saving money and saving calories by not eating the bread. The employees are always professional. And did you know you can buy a bag of their ice? Just place the order and go home with their yummy small chipped ice, $1.49 per bag. read more

Not bad, but not as great as some of its fans claim. So, a bit overrated. Now, I'm sure some will take my opinion as a personal affront, no matter their political views. But come on, it's a fast food chicken sandwich place. Do they do it better than McDonald's or Wendy's or most other fast food restaurants? Most definitely. But that's a pretty low bar to clear when it comes to chicken sandwiches. I did enjoy my spicy chicken sandwich. Could it have been spicier? Most definitely. But if it was, I'm sure that'd make it a turn-off to the more casual crowds who can't handle too much heat. I will say the sauce does improve their sandwiches and complements them nicely. Waffle fries weren't horrible, but did leave something to be desired, which for me was a little more salt. The fact that they don't filter the pulp out of their lemonade was a nice surprise as I'm used to the filtered stuff that is usually just heavily sugared lemon water. As for service, well, I can only speak to the drive-thru staff who were as pleasant as the company's reputation suggests. Being served by people who don't look suicidally depressed does make the whole experience and taste better, that's for sure. Update: This would be my favorite fast food chain by far BUT only gets 3 stars, lost 1 star as they are not open Sundays. I understand a few reasons for businesses to stay closed on Sundays but if everywhere was closed and you're travelling or out nobody would eat. Lost another star as I've driven through the parking lot several times and zero parking spots available and off to another restaurant. Running at about a 50% success rate over the lunch hour during 2018. Maybe build another store? First review.... I used to go to the west side Chic fil A until this opened. I was here the day it opened and have been here at least 50times. Service is usually quick, they are always friendly, the food is always hot , freshly cooked and the sauce selection is extensive and they all taste nice. Some employees even come around asking if you would like a refill. Even though its been extremely busy Ive always found a place to sit. There is plenty of parking unless someone pulls up with a trailer and takes up 10 spots. Ive been through the drive thru several times and that moves quick. I must admit I am falling in love with Chick-fil-A, for a few reasons: 1. Their customer service is second to none. They use words that make you want to return simply so they can say these words. They say "Its my pleasure to serve you". I have never been to a place where the staff say those words. Not only do they say it, it feels like they mean it. 2. They found their thing! They specialize in chicken, they serve pork sausage for breakfast and some sides but chicken is their thing. They offer grilled and fried chicken sandwiches, nuggets and the like. They stay in their lane. 3. They don't make you wait long, you order it, and within a few minutes, its fresh, hot and ready for you. EVERYTIME! They have this new drink a Key Lime Frozen Lemonade!!! My family and I had just come from the Department of Veterans Affairs getting our new retired ID's. My husband served for 20 years, and we just moved from San Diego- a huge Military area. This Chick Fila has a pond in the middle of the drive through, it has ducks and a coypu (large friendly rat thing) in it! One of the workers in the drive through said "don't worry he is harmless" about the coypu. This place always amazes me, don't know how they find such good employees. Food was hot and fresh, and got to see a Coypu for the first time. Ill definitely be back to this location again, mainly to check on the wildlife. read more

We stopped in for breakfast this morning on their first day of being open to the public. Fresh, clean restaurant and service with a smile. I opted for the lower calorie egg white grill while hubby did a more standard bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. Both were delicious and about what you'd expect from a fast food restaurant. Coffee was hot and we were offered a refill while we had our breakfast. We were also pleased to see that they accept Apple Pay. We connected to the free wifi but it seemed not to be working right and ended up having to disconnect and use cell data to browse the web, etc. We run into this often with wifi at restaurants so unsure if it's us or a common occurrence. Looking forward to trying out lunch and dinner sometime. We'll be back! read more

Chick Fil A isnt any big secret these days. At this point we should all, at least generally, be familiar with their food and business model. They sell chicken and everything chicken related-- strips, sandwiches, nuggets, salad, soup. Also waffle fries and shakes. They're also known for their donation to conservative political causes. I'm not necessarily taking a star away for that, although I might add a star for donating to left wing political causes. But I find it fully expected that a big business would donate to the right, and the only difference is they are vocal about it. They are also known for their above average customer service. It's not an exaggeration. They literally are the most polite, friendly, helpful fast food workers you will find. AND THEY DONT GET UPSET IF YOU ASK FOR EXTRA SAUCE. Once, when my order was incorrect, they corrected it without charging me what I should have paid (they neglected to charge me for AND give me one item that I ordered.) The chicken is good, Not great, like Zaxby's or Popeyes on a good day, but good. I prefer the spicy sandwich. The strips are good as well. I tried the chicken soup once, it was like chicken jello. Would not recommend. So why only 3 stars? This location is ALWAYS busy. I've gone at multiple different times of day, and always end up waiting for a very long time-- not because the staff is slow, but because the line is so long. I would NOT recommend going to this location for that reason only. The west location is a little less trafficked. read more

Great customer service, great food! Let me first tell you that Chick fil a is my go to place for fast food! The chicken is crispy, the sauces are tasty, and the customer service, bar none. My 4 year old is going through a phase where he wants only grilled cheese sandwiches when we go out to eat. When we visit Chick fil a, they custom make him a grilled cheese with slices of cheese in between a bun, though it's not on the menu. However, the reason for this review is the catering order I placed for a group of 10 last weekend. I ordered a small salad (comes with 6 dressings), 2 x 12 chicken nuggets (comes with 4 sauces), 10 chicken sandwiches and an 8 oz tub of chick fil a sauce. But what I received was not just the food but disposable plates, tongs (for the salad) and silverware, hand wipes, mints, crisps for the salad, and even a gift card for a free item for each of my guests! read more

I went to this location last night and ordered food through the drive thru. Upon returning home, I noticed I did not get any of the sauces I requested. I returned to this location and asked for sauces, which they gave without any issues. I then went back home and realized they had given me the wrong drink. Already frustrated, I choose to not go back for a third time that night. I went back the next morning to get breakfast and told Veronica, an employee, about my experience. Veronica proceeded to pour me the drink I should have received and I told her that it was very early in the morning and I did not want it, just simply a coupon. Veronica seemed very frustrated, did not apologize, and proceeded me question me for a receipt. Eventually she got a manager who gave me a free coupon, still rude. My boyfriend had never had Chick-fil-A before so we swung through the drive-thru one rainy evening around 9 PM. I feel the same about pretty much every Chick-fil-A: 1) ugh, their politics 2) wow, these people are friendly 3) this is delicious and then, about an hour or two later, 4) why am I hungry again? Maybe it's the guilt that makes my body burn through it so fast? I don't know. I only end up eating here once every two to three years, and the quality has always been high for a fast food place. This is by far the friendliest of the friendly locations I've encountered, and it seemed genuine. The guy at the drive-thru window had a huge smile on his face and seemed to really like getting to interact with customers.
