I was happy to see this Chick-fil-a since it's one of the few options for gluten free travelers. I was able to get my grilled chicken sandwich on a gluten free bun and the Waffle fries are also gluten free (in a dedicated fryer). The restaurant was clean and bright and the staff was friendly and quick. read more

Oh, my sweet buttery Jesus! It's yet another excellent outpost for Good Ol' Christian Chicken. With an opening like that let me discuss briefly why this can't be a five star thing. For some it may be all about that bass, but here it's all about the logistics. As other Yelpers have pointed out this place is piss poorly designed and is a nightmare to get on/off the property. The traffic was backed up the exit ramp to the point of being almost on 81N then you have to make the worldwide suicide left turn on to Foxcroft Avenue then we hit the wall. What was the wall? The wall would be that the drive thru line wrapped a full 360 around the store and there were a total of zero parking spaces along with several cars trying to shark a space if anyone even thought about moving near a parked car. Until we got to the two employees freezing their nugs off outside taking orders it was probably twenty minutes. Not ideal, but the group was committed to CFA and this place is right off of 81 so whatever. The food itself was as expected and everything in the order was in place including getting 11 CFA sauce packets in the bag when only two people ordered something that warranted sauce. Nice. It works. We're collectors. Good Food. Good Service. Total Crap Location. Ah, the things we do for Jesus Chicken. Yum. read more

When you're in the middle of a 19+ hour road trip, a little taste of home is a must. Needing sustenance and a bio break, we spotted our beloved Atlanta-based Chick-Fil-A sign on the list of restaurants at the next exit off I-81 South. It's situated close the highway, but this is not an easy-off, easy-on location. Coming from the north, stay in the left lane off the exit and make your first left turn. It's on the left, close to the intersection on a very busy street, so you may have to drive past and turn around in order to get to it. (We did, due to the long traffic lines. Getting out is no picnic either. Patience helps.) Logistical headaches aside, this Chick-Fil-A was relatively clean, efficient, and best of all, the food is great. I can no longer enjoy my favorite Chick-Fil-A chicken sandwich due to my gluten allergy, but the waffle fries are GF, and a large order really hit the spot, washed down with their tasty lemonade. The drive-thru is crazy busy, but there's plenty of parking, and we were able to get in and out faster than those poor souls sitting in their cars, waiting in line. read more

I enjoy Chick-fil-a but if you are traveling 81 during a busy time of day, AVOID this restaurant! I couldn't even get in the turning lane to go to chick-fil-a so I went to the light and turned around at McDonalds. Then once I made it through the light, I turned into the parking lot of CFA but because they have so many 1-ways and the parking lot was so cramped, I drove the short distance down one side and there was no parking. People were already starting to double park!! Thank goodness I wasn't driving my suburban! Once you make it to the end of the parking lot, you are forced to turn left and then right (another 1-way) to go back out to the light. I had to go down to Lowe's and come back AGAIN! This time, I just parked at the Martinsburg Diner and walked over. I would have just left but I preordered and my food was waiting for me inside. I don't know how chick-fil-a does such a great job. This location is no exception. It is immaculately clean, the employees are well groomed, well trained, and very friendly. The food is always good and comes out so fast, especially while other fast food chains have slowed down by trying to do to much. I once brought a 60 person track team here and we were in and out as fast as if we were a family of 4. I've never had a bad experience here. Also the ice tea is amazing. read more

I truly understand Covid has made things difficult logistically for many businesses but I cannot understand the pick up set up at this location. If you order ahead and pay you still HAVE TO WAIT for the entire drive thru line with everyone else!!! It's horrific. Also, grub hub is allowed to park and pick up orders. Their drive thru in my location loops twice and if you at the end of the line it takes 5 minutes to go around the loop twice and get good quality food. My order is always correct, hot and fresh. Employees are always friendly, polite and helpful. The first time I went thru drive thru I was expecting a long wait. But not at this place. the line was wrapped around the building (it almost always is) but they know how to move it. I was greeted by the first employee with a smile. She took my order. Verified it and took my money. Greeted by second employee with a smile. He gave me receipt and verified my order. Greeted by final employee with a smile who verified order and gave me food. Sounds like a lot but it all happened quickly. And despite being busy Everyone was so nice. In all the times I have gone to chic fil a I have always received this level of service. I love chick fila, they are my first option when I want a quick bite to eat. I was disappointed that on Saturday night about 745 I was out shopping and I pulled into the location in martinsburg on Foxcroft to find that they were closed. The employee at the door said they closed early because of the snow. I said seriously closing early because of the snow, what snow? You mean the barely half of an inch on the ground? The forecast was only calling for between 1-3 inches total and that was through Sunday. It's ridiculous that they would close early for barely a half inch of snow. I wish my job would close for a half inch of snow. Thanks chick fila for disappointing me. I will know for next time that if it is snowing to call and see if you are open. I ended up going to Panera and getting dinner from them. I guess Panera isn't scared of a little snow, thank you Panera for being open. read more

Wonderful service!! I was traveling on 81 and stopped in for a quick bite and bathroom break. I came in 2 minutes before closing and all the employees were polite and friendly. This is my local Chick-Fil-A so of course I'm going to give it a special shout-out but I really do think this is one of the nicest ones I've ever been to. I usually use the drive-thru but when I do go inside it is always sparkling clean and the staff are always so nice and attentive. Recently went in and one employee came to our table and asked if we wanted a refill. The same employee came back with our refill and asked if we wanted some leftover chocolate chip cookies that didn't sell that day.... and they were still warm! Of course we took them (who can pass up free chocolate chip cookies -- come on!) and they were delicious, just like everything on the menu at Chick-Fil-A. Great place with great employees. We go to Chick-fil-A all the time in winchester and the restaurants are great excellent customer service food is always good. But I stopped ar the martinsburg location today to get breakfast butter biscuit and a coke was all we ordered the young lady that checked us out was rude I was waiting for the drink the girl walked away with the drink to hand it to my husband I called to her several times she ignored me when she saw me following her she gave me a very flippant smile and said sorry.it took 10 mins to get the biscuit. I would have said something to the manager but she was busy talking to other guests about her college classes at shepherd and how she has been on and off academic probation. Came in for lunch. Counters were fully staffed, everyone was super friendly. Food came fast and was delicious. This place was spotless! While eating I saw one of the staff wiping tables and chairs. She even got on her knees to wipe chair and table legs!
