A small but mighty Chick-fil-A! I come here about once a week and am very glad that there is one closer to me than having to drive to Redwood City or Daly City. Because it is located next to the Millbrae BART station, the area is more dense. I am used to that having been to non drive thru's in Manhattan and DTLA. All the employees and management are friendly and professional. It's nice that they are trying to build 'community' by having bingo events where you get some prizes. I have ordered on the app and at the counter and the food comes out in a reasonable amount of time. It's all you would expect from a Chick-fil-A. My favorites are the chicken strips and the waffle fries and for breakfast I love the mini hash browns with a chicken biscuit sandwich. It's always clean and bright inside. Just be aware if you are driving there is no drive thru like I mention above. You can find parking in the garage. So maybe not the most spectacular place to eat but Chick-fil-a is a welcome addition to Millbrae's downtown center Now it's so much easier to get a chicken sandwich if you are craving one! I used the grand opening promotion which was a free sandwich to try out the breakfast chicken sandwich. I also tried the curbside pick-up because the parking lot requires you to walk around the building to actually get to the entrance. With curbside, the employees can use the back entrance to get you the order. The sandwich itself was as expected - satisfying. The employees are very nice as usual, and I'm happy to have a quality staple open nearby. read more

Came here for the first time and parking is in the back with a very steep/sharp incline into the garage. If your car is low, it will get scrapped. Heck, my car was almost scrapped coming out of the parking garage and it's standard height. The turn is tight and cars often have to weight their turn (hah!) to pass another car turning. Just be aware parking here is a pain not for the lack of space but by design. Anyway, the restaurant itself is trendily decorated and has a recycled coke bottle lamp shade over one of the tables. It was clean and the workers were all very friendly. Unfortunately, the soda machine needed their syrup canister refilled or something cuz it tasted funky. It was not enough syrup or the faucet water needs a new filter. It has a very distinct faucet taste... The day I went, some door dasher tried getting in by one of the door dash doors but it was locked. Apparently, this is a common problem at the location. Came to this Chick-fil-A with only one mission: praying with Fried Chicken God for some good luck, and went with the classic chicken sandwich meal. Taste good as always, the meat was juicy with perfectly seasoned batter. Millbrae location is so convenient as it's right by the station, a perfect stop if you need a quick bite. Chick-fil-A should pack up and go back where they started from. We ordered a Delivery Service for a Chicken sandwich that said, "comes with lettuce, pickle and cheese" & a regular chicken nuggets, and two waffle fries. The food was cold, sandwich had NOTHING on it but cheese on a cold bun. Nuggets were little cold over fried pellets of chicken without any sauce, and the waffle fries were undercooked. What a racket! This is the WORSE location I ever been... They were really really slow and the restaurant was empty the register girls were pretty mean and sarcastic, they didn't realize I can speak Spanish too... The order was completely wrong I asked them if they can fix it they laugh at my face, roll their eyes and told me that the only thing they could do was reimburse me but they couldn't replace the order... I placed a carry-out order and the wait time was much longer than expected. While waiting, I noticed a lot of other customers visibly frustrated by the delays as well. The employees were not as attentive or engaged as they are at most other Chick-fil-A locations, and it seemed like they were seriously understaffed for the amount of business they were handling. When I got home, I realized a sandwich was missing from my order. On top of that, the lid on a hot coffee wasn't secured properly and came off, which is a serious safety issue. The restaurant itself also wasn't as clean as I've come to expect from Chick-fil-A. Overall, this experience was well below the usual Chick-fil-A standard. This Chic Fil A is so disorganized and staff are not helpful. I order from this Chic Fil A often and every time I order for curbside I have to wait 20-30 minutes before the order is ready even if it's not busy inside the store. And then once they bring the order they don't give me any of the sauces that I added to the order. And then one guy who brought the order out was extremely rude and irritated because I went inside to check on the status and he had to wait by the car for 2 minutes after I waited 30 minutes for the order. I love chick fil a but this location just sucks. I waited 5-8 minutes just to place my order because the in training cashier was taking an order from an employee in front of me. The chicken is good, but for some reason it doesn't taste the same as the other branches... A lot could improve and I think it will. It's just a brand new location therefore it'll take some time to get up to par! Still love the atmosphere and the mascot is killer! Man, Carlos and Kelly were the bomb tonight. I called in at 10:53pm being 13 minutes away by car, and they told me to place an online order as they wouldn't be able to take me in person. Then I tried placing an order online but it didn't go through. So I called back and then took my order via phone despite being closed already. Carlos was very accommodating and gave us the grace of still getting us our dinner even though they had already closed their registers and everything. Kelly took our order via phone and gave extremely good customer service! I appreciate the both of them so much bc I drove from SF to get to this one in millbrae and they made it possible for me to eat a good dinner tonight. Why is this Chick-fil-A location so dirty? I was there at 8:30 am and they just opened so it shouldn't be dirty. At the first glance as soon as I walked in, at least 4 tables were dirty, with crumbs on either the table or the seats. How is that possible. The bathroom, this time was out of hand soap in both dispensers, last time was out of paper towels. The self-serve condiments were out of 2/3 of the stuff and weren't replenished. The trash can counter top was greasy and full of sauce and looked like someone wiped them but used a dirty rag. That begs the question, is the kitchen dirty as well? First time at this location and the sandwiches were perfect. I was an Atlanta resident for 22 years and now live on the west coast. CFA has been ok on this side but nothing compared to Atlanta, until now. Consider me an unoffical secret shopper with a direct line to corporate. Back to the sandwiches, your store hit it just right. West coast operators just have not got the breading of the chicken down. The sandwiches I got yesterday were perfect as the breading had the crunch and flavor of the hometown (ATL). AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! If you want your order wrong EVERY TIME you eat here, then feel free to stop by. I live nearby and have ordered from this specific location 5 times since it opened. Every single time they missed an item on the order and I had to go back to get it. We've let the manager/owner know and all they do is give you a gift card for a free item, but never address the actual issue. Employees are just standing around avoiding customers and talking amongst themselves in the back. At this point, I will never go back to this location unless I want my order wrong. read more

I love they added a Millbrae location and understand the team is still working to get everything running smoothly. However, almost every time I visit, there seems to be an issue with my order. Sometimes an entrée is missing, or I'm given the wrong item. My family and I always order frosted lemonades, with some of us requesting the diet version, but the drinks are never labeled. This makes us unsure if we're actually receiving the diet frosted lemonade we ordered. And the waiting time is pretty long read more

I love Chick-fil-A, but today was the third time they messed up my order. I ordered my food via DoorDash and I received someone else's order. My name was on the bag, but the food had different name labels, both of them. The prior times I had received my orders without the sauces and couldn't enjoyed my nuggets without the sauce, and no, these were not DoorDash issues because the bags were sealed.
