We recently visited this location of Chick-fil-A for having a dinner on a weekday and I absolutely loved this place. We placed an mobile order and picked it up from inside. The food was ready within 10 minutes of our arrival and they nicely packed it. We ordered mac & cheese, waffle, fries, spicy chicken burger, and chicken strips. Everything was absolutely delicious. Kids loved their mac & cheese and waffle fries. The staff is friendly and they were cleaning the place regularly. The place is clean and it had plenty of seating. I went to the nearest location to my house. Since today is national dog day. I saw it advertised that Chick-fil-A would be giving out pup cups to the dogs. Nothing I hate more is when nation wide businesses advertise something or special deal. Then the local franchise doesn't participate. I've had this happen at other locations. So I went and at the checkout the girl says, corporate won't allow us to participate. You could have told me when I ordered the pup cups that you weren't participating. Instead you wait till after I paid for my food to tell me. I wouldn't have ordered anything if I knew ahead of time. I have no problem with the food. It tastes great. This Chick-fil-A location has been consistently disappointing. They don't seem to pay close attention to orders. I ordered a regular Chicken Biscuit, but they gave me the spicy version instead. I'm not sure how that mistake happens. On top of that, I waited at the drive-thru window for about 25 minutes. To make matters worse, the manager didn't give me my 16¢ in change. I understand it's only 16 cents, but it's the principle. At the very least, they should have acknowledged it or asked if I wanted the change instead of assuming it didn't matter. The service was extremely fast. 30 seconds after you order, the food is done. According to the cashier. The kitchen is able to see what the cashier input live. So they are able to anticipate the final order. Plenty of seating all spacious. Great lighting and WiFi available. A sat for about 2 hrs eating and watching a movie on my laptop. IMHO My husband had just left the Kaiser clinic across the street and doctor's advice was told to eat more protein for his current condition. As we left the parking lot, he asked if I wanted Chick-fil-a for lunch! I'm no dummy. Of course I do! Chicken protein, here we come! You also scan the QR code on the table, so they know to bring you your food to your table. I got the grilled chicken sandwich and a cup of chicken noodle soup. The grilled chicken is also served on a wheat bun. I felt it was "healthier" than some of their other offerings. You get two sauces with each sandwich or fries. Yummy and solid. Excellent service at this location. I walked up, had a phone on my hand, one of the staff asked if I was picking up. I said yes. And I explained that I had previously placed an order on the app but had to make a couple of changes. I looked at his name tag and he was actually the director!!!! Started off as a standard stop for fast food, but was quickly disappointed by our cashier's inability to listen to our order, having to repeat 3 out of 4 of our items, and then when I began to pull the total amount from my wallet and handed her the bills, she stared at me and went, "You have to use a card, this machine doesn't accept cash. That one does." and points to the next register where the manager is in the middle of a transaction. I go ahead and use my card and look for a sign that says card only, which there is none. As I do this the manager mentions she could've held the cash at her register and transferred it later, to which the cashier responded, "Well too late now." I go to each of the Chick-fil-A's I know about every once in a while to see if anything has changed, but it's still the same bland McDonald's-style chicken with some unique features. Same at this place. People will sit in the drive through like it's In-N-Out (which we love), and I come away after eating it like it's some kind of Chipotle-style fad. I've noticed a decrease in chick-fil-A's exceptional customer service in San Jose. However, the customer service provided here reminded me how it used to be back in the day. The employees truly make each and every visit magical. They are welcoming, polite, and extremely willing to help. Never have I witnessed any other fast food joint's employees stop by and offer to take your garbage filled trays out for you, rarely do I ever see employees truly happy while working, & I have never come across a fast food joint that has such consistent quality overall. Didn't need to get the spicy chicken version, as it was spicy enough with the sliced jalapenos and diced pimento chili peppers in the cheese. The hint of honey was unnecessary, it was already full of flavor, the juicy tender chicken of course always the best part. The quality of food here is consistent with all other locations I've tried over the years, even decades, simple and delicious! This being a newer restaurant, the place is clean and modern, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. Service on a Thursday evening was quick and efficient when I ordered inside for takeout, the wait for my sandwich about 5 minutes or so. The drive thru has your typical constant line of vehicles, but they keep it moving. And parking is easy in the plaza lot. Decent fast food spot, no problems or complaints. read more

Call me a hater but I am not a fan of chick-fil-a... Not until recently. I had a doctor appointment at Kaiser close by and decided to give it another try since there was no line in the drive thru early in the morning. Plus one of the influencers I follow on IG always raves about the breakfast sandwiches here so I wanted to try it. I ordered the spicy chicken biscuit sandwich, taters and an ice vanilla coffee. But the spicy chicken biscuit was DELICIOUS! The biscuit was fluffy, soft and moist. The chicken cutlet itself is very juicy. I ate the sandwich with the honey and sriracha sauce which made it 10x times better. So good!! The ice vanilla coffee was mediocre. And the taters were the smallest portion of taters I ever received, definitely kids size small. Regarding service, the girl who took my order was extremely friendly and was helpful with my sauce selection. The lady who gave me my food was chatting with a coworker and when I asked her for a straw, she gave me this look like I was interrupting her conversation. Overall, I was very pleased with the sandwich and would come back again just for the biscuits. But I still think their regular chicken sandwiches and their sides are very mediocre. read more

Everyone is happy that a chick fil a is here in milpitas. Pretty close to home too. No need to make the trip to the first street location. Honestly it's pretty good for a fast food joint. You can dine in and get your food delivered to your table, order ahead through the app, convenient drive through, etc. Location is kinda meh because it can get pretty traffic when leaving but overall not bad. The drive thru is cool because they spray mist in the summer (when it's REALLY hot) or have a heater on in the winter when it's cold. Just don't go craving it on a Sunday, because they're re closed! Food is always pretty good! I used to get a deluxe grilled chicken sandwich, but have since moved on to a regular chicken sandwich or deluxe sandwich and add bacon (since they only do grilled for the club). Their chicken is really good. Juicy and tender. Love their chicken strips and chicken nuggets. I was shocked when I bit into my first nugget that it's REAL chicken. There's also something about their criss cross fries that makes it so good, I dont know what it is. One thing for sure though, is they don't skimp out on them (unlike my last few McDonalds trip, getting ripped off "large" fries lol) For drinks, I really like how you can ask for a refill! We always go for the lemonade. It's a classic. If you look on their menu under "treats" there are frosted coffees and lemonade. The frosted coffee is yummy! Perfect on a hot day when I need that caffeine. The frosted lemonade is a bit interesting. I thought it was going to be a slushie but it was actually a "hand-spun" combo of lemonade and their Icedream dessert (I did not read this when I first ordered it lol). So it's on the cream-side. Still good though!! But just a heads up. Just sad they don't have ketchup up for grabs outside by the utensils, unlike other locations I've went to recently. And also.. NO DOG TREATS :( I was sad cos they're known to hand out dog treats. Last thing -- don't forget to ask for sauce! They won't always ask you if you want any sauce (chick fil a sauce is the best) and once I realized I was sauceless, it was a really sad drive home. They have a limit on their sauces, about 2-3 per item (including fries). But they do sell 8 oz sauces for $2.75 each. I've also seen them at some grocery stores like walmart/target. read more

Not sure where the bad reviews are coming from. This place opened a few months ago and I can't recall having a truly bad experience* in several trips. *there was one time where me and the car behind me had similar cars and they tried to give me his much bigger order, but I told them and ultimately they got it right. I usually come after going to the gym that's right next door (in fact, that's my biggest reason not to like the place - tempt me like this after the gym? HULK ANGRY!) and the teenagers working the drive thru are very patient while I sit there completely exhausted and ponder over the 10 item menu only to ultimately settle on the spicy chicken sandwich every time. The price is on par with other fast food. The drive through heaters / fans are awesome during the cold / warm months. They sometimes take a littler longer than the average fast food, and there have been a couple times where they've tried to mess up my order (this time they accidentally put whipped cream in my milkshake - I said no whipped cream! *best Karen voice* - and I saw the guy scraping it off lol) but ultimately they have gotten my order right every single time.
