    Cheese Ravioli

Olive Garden was a great place to visit for some good Italian food that is priced reasonably! Our favorite dishes were the cheese ravioli, the 5 cheese marinara, and the breadsticks!! The service was also great and our waiter was very patient and helpful. The place is also well decorated and has a warm atmosphere which I personally loved. The menu also offered many vegetarian options with the addition option of modifying dishes occasionally. The only thing I would have changed was the amount of vegetarian options there were for the soups as there was only 1 option for us. I would definitely recommend visiting, and will be back soon!

The service and ambiance were amazing! It provides a pretty decent atmosphere for a date night with the lighting and music at night. The food was served with generous proportions while being super delicious, especially the lasagna fritta. The only issue was that we didn't get our breadstick, and the device on their table implied that we were supposed to be offered a breadstick.

We visited this place twice recently and absolutely love it. Once we went to celebrate kiddo's birthday and they had options for kids and adults both. Kiddo ordered mac n cheese with fries on the side. Needless to say it was well received. We ordered unlimited bread sticks, salad and soup combo as one entree. The portion sizes are huge and the bread sticks are amazing. And we ordered cheese ravioli, which too was good. Staff is very attentive and friendly. They take good care of everyone. Place is big with ample seating available everywhere. It's nice and clean. Overall a good spot to have a meal with the family.

Came to Greatmall to do some window shopping and decided to get some Olive Garden. Came with my wife and baby boy for a total of 3 guest and we were seated immediately to my surprise as there were ppl sitting a waiting before us (must have a larger group) as there was still seating available inside. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and my wife got the Alfredo light(smaller sized portion but still original recipes). Eggplant parmigiana was a bit salty for my preference. And idk if it's just me but the side of pasta has a lot more tanginess than I'm used , if I had it my way, the sauce would be a little bit thicker as it was a little bit of watering and maybe a little bit of sweetness. For those of you who haven't been here in a while , entree come with endless Soup OR salad(not both, I swear it used to be both) they offer different varieties of soups and salads and you can change different soups as you ask for a "refill". Bread sticks are unlimited as well but they are a bit on the salty side as well... super delicious especially when fresh. They do offer a kids menu which looked good but since my son is less than 1 we just fed him some of our soup. I was ample to try them all and I enjoyed them all throughly as they weren't overly salty. My favorite thigh was probably zuppa toscana light creamy broth with a little spice and some sausage bits and kale . It hits the spot while still making me think I was eating healthy. Chicken gnocchi actually had a good amount of chicken pieces in there too. I love creamy soups. So I may be biased in this opinion. Service was good.although there was a stent in time Where the entree came out and it seemed like the waiter may have went on break as it took a while for her check on us as I wanted more soup. But overall good service. Not sure why this place only has 3 stars. I would give it a 4. I do think the quality and cost could be better, but overall I'd come back, maybe try another item on their menu

I've been to this Olive Garden location at Great mall many times and it's really good. The bread and minestrone soup are some of my favorites every time. They also have the all you can eat pasta deal sometimes which is nice. This time I tried the spiked strawberry lemonade drink and it was yummy. Service was good too.

I often come here with a couple of friends for lunch on the weekends and it's always a fun time. I've only really been to this Olive Garden location, so I can't compare it to other locations. Since this location is located in Great Mall, there is no issue with parking, although it can get busy on the weekends. It is located outside of the mall, so you can't access it directly from the mall. We usually don't have to wait for a table when we arrive around 11:30am. I usually order the endless soup and salad meal. If you order an entree, it also comes with endless soup or salad. I've tried each of the soups, and zuppa tuscana is still the best, although it's more watery than I expect it to be since it's a creamy soup, it tastes good. The salad is always fresh and well seasoned. The breadsticks are good but rather bland. You have the option to get unlimited dipping sauce for $7(?). The service is pretty good and the servers come around often to ask if you want more soup or salad. Also the entree portions are huge. I would recommend this place as it is great value.

We had a bit of a mixed feelings experience here at the Great Mall location of Olive Garden. To start with, we had put our names on the waitlist ahead of time, but when we arrived the hostess told us, "It took you off the waitlist but I don't know why." She let us know that the wait would be a few minutes but didn't put our names back on the list and proceeded to forget about us until I asked how long the wait would be again. She then sat us in a cozy booth, and we were taken care of the rest of the night. I came with two other people, and they both got the unlimited pasta deal for $17.99/person. With four bowls of pasta, they definitely got their money's worth! I got the chicken alfredo with broccoli, and it was great! Their breadsticks are to die for (obviously). The real highlight of our night was our server Matthew. He did a wonderful job of making us feel welcomed, and he was very attentive the whole night! He was very kind and I'm glad he was our waiter for the night! Overall, our experience was comfortable and pleasant thanks to him :)

Food was ok. Pick up was ok. It wasn't busy at all but service was slow. Waited about twenty minutes more to get our food. This was a weekday lunch time. We got Pasta, Chicken Soup and Extra Bread Sticks. Happen to be in the area, probably wont be back to this location. Usually only come to Olive Garden once or twice a year. Inside wasn't clean either. But private lot with the mall parking.

Last Saturday September 06,2025 My Cousin And I Decided To Have A Late Lunch Early Dinner At Olive Garden By Great Mall Milpitas. As We Walk Inside We Were Greeted By Front Desk Staff And Asked Us to Follow Her To Be Seated. At First I Was Amazed With The Restaurant Details Its So Nice And Looks Elegant. As We Were Served By Paulina After Given Our Order. Once The Food was served Have Notice Food Portions Were Great And For Two. I Would Highly Recommend The Said Restaurant To Everybody As Specially For Pasta, Salads & Soup Lovers As Well As Friendly Staff

This place is kinda inconsistent with the service. Some servers look like they hate their jobs and some servers are super nice. The food is either you like it or not , I personally rlly like the soups and salads, the pasta sometimes can be a little blend, I usually ask for extra sauce. The prices have gone up a lot since I came here. Olive Garden is not rlly a high end restaurant if you ask me , but the prices are over 20-30+ and the food remains the same. I will only Come back for the soups

My family and I always enjoy the food at Olive Garden. They have a good variety of dishes to choose from. The hard part is deciding which entree you want. A couple of years ago OG offered a deal where you pick a main entree and you could pick another entree to take home. The Take Home entree is cold and is meant to be heated at home. This second entree is a bit smaller than their normal entrees. OG now charges $6 for the Take Home entree, which is still a good deal. You can choose from their house salad or a soup of your choosing. They also give you two of their awesome breadsticks with your main entree. My family and I have called-in several times to take advantage of these deals. We enjoy this, since we can enjoy our meals from the comfort of our house. Their house green salad comes with red onions, their salad dressing and croutons. We also order their Minestrone Soup too. The entrees we've enjoyed are the Seafood Alfredo, Shrimp Scampi, Chicken Tortelloni Alfredo and Chicken Alfredo. The Take One entrees we like are the Spaghetti with meat sauce and Five Cheese Ziti. You get a good amount of food with your order. Between the salad or soup, breadsticks and main entree, it's filling. As a bonus, you have enough food and/or leftovers to enjoy later. This deal is such a great value.

I just saw on KTVU FOX 2 that there's an AYCE Pasta Bowl for $13.99 going on now, does this location offer it?

Do you guys still have the never ending pasta bowl?

The Never Ending Pasta bowl is a promotion they only run for short periods of time. As of April 2025, the promotion is not running.

Do they offer Cacio e Pepe? Do they offer the steak with gargonzola these days?

They have a new Gorgonzola Fettuccine Alfredo that we saw in the menu yesterday!

When is the last day for never ending pasta?

For the free salad and breadsticks that accompany a dish, can one order an alternative salad dressing instead of the oil and vinegar dressing that it comes with?

Balsamic, ranch, and our signature Italian dressing are also available, Chefs Daughter D.

Fried Calamari- for only being a couple minutes away I wonder why the calamari was already almost cold when we ate it. It was pretty disappointing. Maybe they just had it in the box while they waited for the rest of our order. I don't know. Flavor was good. Pizza Primavera - It was good, I was okay with it. The pizza dough wasn't my favorite but it was fine. White Pasta - I honestly don't remember what the name was but it was an item my bf ordered. This was terrible. Like there was too much roux to make the bechamel. It tasted of flour. Not much salt, not much of other flavors. Not enough milk and cheese and butter. He took a bite and put it down. Overall, glad we tried it but we might not be coming back. With the economy now, it's disappointing when the food is terrible for how much we pay for.

The food was a bit saltier than our personal preference. The cream pasta substitution, despite the extra charge, wasn't anything particularly memorable compared to similar dishes we've had at other restaurants. However, the highlight of our visit was definitely the warm and welcoming customer service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel appreciated. We also appreciate that the restaurant closes for a few hours in the afternoon before reopening for dinner service. It's nice to see a business that gives its staff a break during the day. Parking can be a bit challenging due to the busy neighborhood. Be aware that street parking is paid, and most spots have a two-hour limit, so you'll need to keep an eye on the time. Overall, we'd come back to try more of the pasta dishes on the menu and hope to discover a new favorite.

We checked in at the front desk and were escorted to our table. Our server Manny took excellent care of us from beginning to end. He gave us excellent recommendations on things to try, which we really appreciated. We started off the evening with some cocktails. My husband tried the Kickin' Old Fashioned and I tried the Margarita Italiano, that was recommended by Manny. My husband enjoyed his drink and I loved the Margarita Italiano. It was so good! For our appetizer, Manny recommended his personal favorite, which was the Burrata Con Prosciutto. We decided to try it and I'm so glad we did. It was so delicious. He poured a bit of balsamic vinegar on top of the Burrata, and it really made the dish superb. The Prosciutto melted in my mouth and paired perfectly with the Burrata, balsamic vinegar and arugula. We will definitely get that again in the future. For our main dishes, Manny recommended the Linguine Mare Chiaro. I decided to try that and my husband ordered the Ippglosso Con Limone E Capperi, from their house specials menu. Our dishes arrived fresh and hot. My Linguine Mare Chiaro had clams, mussels, shrimp and scallops in a roasted cherry tomato and white wine sauce. It was delicious. The linguine was cooked perfectly and seafood portions were generous. My husband's dish, Ippglosso Con Limone E Capperi, was a pan seared halibut fillet with a lemon caper sauce served with asparagus and mashed potatoes. We both enjoyed our main dishes. Moments later, she added that she could possibly fit us in at 8:00 p.m., depending on the size of our party. I told her that I found her initial response unprofessional because she didn't take the time to explain the situation from the start. A more courteous response would have been to let me know that reservations were full but that there might be a possibility of accommodating us later in the evening. She apologized and said she would respond differently next time, which I appreciated. However, as a manager, first impressions and customer service matter. I flew from out of town for a private family event with 80+ people, and I thought the place was cute and humble at first glance. Hold on... Who was the random old man in the room? And why is he walking around our event with a creepy look in his eyes and disrespecting my family with his unsolicited comments? Thats the owner. There are other comments that talk about him. Be warned. Zahir does not have a grasp on people skills and the tone of his voice switches from soft old man to grumpy old man without warning. He sat at a desk during the event with a judging side eye while my family filled in for a crew he did not adequately coordinate with. Made no sense that my family became the workers at their own event, and the venue lacked communication on how this event should flow. I did not finish my food, but it got the job done. Satiated at best. I preferred the appetizers that my family brought. The space is very humble and intimate and has a nice outdoor area that offered a break when my family needed a breather. The place is an older building so ventilation did struggle. However, Zahir locked a side door and told the guests that he would kick them out if they were seen using that exit. Fun fact, that side door was originally the planned enter/exit for this event. Parking lot is small but theres street parking available. We were charged unexpected cork fees, including for a broken bottle we didn't use. The event manager constantly hovered around guests, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. Verbal agreements didn't match written contracts, leading to undisclosed charges. While the staff was helpful, the rigid rules (heavily controlled AC, forcibly closed doors) and lack of transparency made it difficult for guests to relax and enjoy the celebration. Unless terms are crystal clear and match all documentation, I'd recommend looking elsewhere for a special event so you don't have to micromanage your guests just to satisfy the owner. When the bride is stressed about the impromptu rules more than the guest management should be a strong indicator of the level of service you would get here. Edit: I've learned from other guests that we were also charged a "service" fee for the help staff to open soda cans for soda WE supplied. Air ventilation is also ridiculously poor to the point where most guests hung out outside in the parking lot because of how hot it was inside and we were refused when asked to open the side doors or windows. Also should add that we paid until 10pm but Zahir pulled the bride aside to tell her the event ends at 9pm with NO valid reason. We also received reports that our guests were being threatened with being kicked out by Zahir simply by entering through a side door (closest door to the parking lot)

Told the waitress who simply replaced our plate and fork with ones from a neighboring table, leaving the dirty dishes in its place. Two of the napkins at our table were paper trifold, the other two were bar napkins. Cloth napkins were placed at all the tables around us. When we asked our waitress why we didn't have cloth napkins, she told us it's because their order didn't deliver and refused to give us napkins, concluding that they weren't seating anyone at those tables. We questioned if we were supposed to use the bar napkin and she said yes. Once she walked away, I retrieved 3 sets of silverware from a neighboring table. The restaurant was not busy for a Saturday night-- we felt her attitude was absurd. Two orders of Focaccia arrived with 2 glasses of water, 1 Starry and 1 Dr. Pepper. After a few sips, I had to flag down our waitress to ask for ice water, as the Dr Pepper tasted like watered down caramel without carbonation. She acted as though it was an imposition to replace my soda with water. No appetizers ordered, but I ordered a fresh greens salad with my entree. The greens were drenched in vinaigrette. Every piece of lettuce was dripping wet, with a pool of liquid in the bottom of the bowl. Very unappetizing. Entrees ordered: 3 Shrimp Portofino, 1 order Spaghetti with meatballs and bolognese sauce. It took 45min for the food to arrive after ordering. All 3 Shrimp Portofinos lacked seasoning. The capellini didn't taste salted, and each dish was swimming in oil. Each of us remarked that our dish lacked flavor: garlic, salt, pepper, fresh herbs etc. The shrimp was bland. I found and counted 5 pine nuts in my dish, when the menu eluted to a dish filled with them. One person added a ton of table salt and pepper to their dish in order to eat it. My mother and myself ate the shrimp and pushed the capellini aside to see how much oil was in the dish. We ended up not eating it. Our server never came by to ask how are meals tasted or if anything was wrong. After she delivered the bill and asked us to buy dessert, we then began telling her how disappointing this meal was and had she checked on us, we would have told her and perhaps we could have had our order remade or placed a different entree. Our server acted as though it was her last shift and she didn't care. She asked if we wanted a manager and we said No, that we were just being honest with her about our experience. Again, she didn't care. This experience was by far the worst we've had. Next time we're feeling up to eating

We had kids with us and they managed to move things around for us to be comfortable. Thank you very much for the amazing service and laughs! The appetizers we ordered were pretty good -- bruschetta (fam favorite), burrata + prosciutto, beef carpaccio, and calamari (a little tough). I really enjoyed my spicy rigatoni! That was so good and creamy and just the perfect kick of spice. Everyone else seemed to enjoy theirs -- Milan fettuccine, Linguine Vongole, Beef lasagna, and spaghetti bolognese. Unfortunately the risotto was not the best, it was a bit overcooked and tasted more like salty rice than creamy risotto. Overall it was a great dinner and service! Hope to be back soon!

We came here to celebrate my wife's birthday, had a fantastic dining experience, and will definitely be back. To start, the complimentary soft bread was absolutely delicious--perfectly warm and fresh. For our main courses, we ordered the seafood linguine and the pork chop. The seafood linguine was packed with fresh flavor and perfectly cooked pasta, while the pork chop was incredibly tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. What made the night even better was the exceptional service. Our server, Jacob, was informative, attentive, and incredibly friendly. He even recommended a perfect Merlot to pair with the pork chop, which complemented the meal beautifully. We wrapped up the celebration with the tiramisu, which was outstanding--the perfect sweet ending to an amazing meal. Highly recommend checking this place out!
