I haven't stepped foot in an Olive Garden in about five years. My kiddo chose it for the all Important birthday dinner so I of course obliged. The service from our waitress, Rachel, was fantastic and all the food was on point. I started with the Zuppa toscana and a couple breadsticks. Honestly, my meal could've ended there because the soup was quite hearty with lots of potato, kale and sausage, (ok I also had two bowls). For my main dish, I ordered the stuffed chicken Marsala which was cooked to perfection and a good sized portion at $25. Rachel was also kind enough to swap out the mashed potatoes with broccoli at no extra charge. I will say, everything tasted a bit on the salty side. But, this is a corporate chain Italian place. I feel like the American palette skews toward saltier dishes. The food really was a 4/5. However, I was so impressed with the level of service Rachel exuded it made the entire night really great. Our large party was always taken care of with a smile and items were brought over promptly. Honestly, most of the time I go out I want some solid food and kind quick service. Olive Garden nailed it last night. All the dishes that hit the table really looked great too. It's probably wrong to come to Olive Garden while on vacation especially when you are in a city known for great food. But that is the life you live as a parent when your kid is hungry, overstimulated and tired and wants to eat something "familiar." I ordered the food while sitting in the parking lot at Dollar Tree and then drove to Olive Garden. I appreciated on the app you can select if you want plastic ware or not. Got to the restaurant, parked, checked in and food came out shortly after. We were here post typical dinner hours as this was about a 10 mile drive from the hotel but was showing it would like 40 minutes to get there due to traffic so I had waited to get food. Made it back to the hotel, got inside and ate it. The portions were large and filling and we didn't even eat it all. Could have probably shared vs 2 meals. I hope in if in the area again I will be able to try other food but if Olive Garden is what is needed I will be back. read more

So we came to this Olive Garden on Sat night with family the wait was not very long 20 mins compared to other restaurants over an 1 hr plus . So this is our first visit at this Olive Garden location the food was amazing . The waitress was new mrs Alyssa but she really did an amazing job ..! Olive Garden was a great place to visit for some good Italian food that is priced reasonably! Our favorite dishes were the cheese ravioli, the 5 cheese marinara, and the breadsticks!! The service was also great and our waiter was very patient and helpful. The place is also well decorated and has a warm atmosphere which I personally loved. The menu also offered many vegetarian options with the addition option of modifying dishes occasionally. The only thing I would have changed was the amount of vegetarian options there were for the soups as there was only 1 option for us. The best part of this dinner experience hands-down was Jason. I believe it was only his second day working here as a waiter and he did a great job. He was very attentive on refilling the drinks being very kind on a very busy day definitely the kind of service an establishment needs. He is the reason why I'm doing the four stars hands down the food of course is always mediocre. It's not bad at all. It's just good. It would be five stars. If it wasn't too expensive I believe but could just be my personal opinion either way I definitely come here when I'm craving a decent pasta. read more

We visited this place twice recently and absolutely love it. Once we went to celebrate kiddo's birthday and they had options for kids and adults both. Kiddo ordered mac n cheese with fries on the side. Needless to say it was well received. We ordered unlimited bread sticks, salad and soup combo as one entree. The portion sizes are huge and the bread sticks are amazing. And we ordered cheese ravioli, which too was good. Staff is very attentive and friendly. They take good care of everyone. I want to praise their service, my son has food allergies and I asked a simple question if they had or not egg in it, they helped me pick out another meal, and then for my surprise the manager Gary came to our table and asked more about the allergy and explained the procedures, the cross contamination. Came to Greatmall to do some window shopping and decided to get some Olive Garden. Came with my wife and baby boy for a total of 3 guest and we were seated immediately to my surprise as there were ppl sitting a waiting before us (must have a larger group) as there was still seating available inside. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and my wife got the Alfredo light(smaller sized portion but still original recipes). Eggplant parmigiana was a bit salty for my preference. And idk if it's just me but the side of pasta has a lot more tanginess than I'm used , if I had it my way, the sauce would be a little bit thicker as it was a little bit of watering and maybe a little bit of sweetness.For those of you who haven't been here in a while , entree come with endless Soup OR salad(not both, I swear it used to be both) they offer different varieties of soups and salads and you can change different soups as you ask for a "refill". Bread sticks are unlimited as well but they are a bit on the salty side as well... super delicious especially when fresh. They do offer a kids menu which looked good but since my son is less than 1 we just fed him some of our soup. I was ample to try them all and I enjoyed them all throughly as they weren't overly salty. My favorite thigh was probably zuppa toscana light creamy broth with a little spice and some sausage bits and kale . It hits the spot while still making me think I was eating healthy. Chicken gnocchi actually had a good amount of chicken pieces in there too. I love creamy soups. So I may be biased in this opinion. Service was good.although there was a stent in time Where the entree came out and it seemed like the waiter may have went on break as it took a while for her check on us as I wanted more soup. I often come here with a couple of friends for lunch on the weekends and it's always a fun time. I've only really been to this Olive Garden location, so I can't compare it to other locations. Since this location is located in Great Mall, there is no issue with parking, although it can get busy on the weekends. It is located outside of the mall, so you can't access it directly from the mall. We usually don't have to wait for a table when we arrive around 11:30am. I usually order the endless soup and salad meal. If you order an entree, it also comes with endless soup or salad. I've tried each of the soups, and zuppa tuscana is still the best, although it's more watery than I expect it to be since it's a creamy soup, it tastes good. The salad is always fresh and well seasoned. The breadsticks are good but rather bland. You have the option to get unlimited dipping sauce for $7(?). The service is pretty good and the servers come around often to ask if you want more soup or salad. Also the entree portions are huge. I would recommend this place as it is great value. read more

We had a bit of a mixed feelings experience here at the Great Mall location of Olive Garden. To start with, we had put our names on the waitlist ahead of time, but when we arrived the hostess told us, "It took you off the waitlist but I don't know why." She let us know that the wait would be a few minutes but didn't put our names back on the list and proceeded to forget about us until I asked how long the wait would be again. She then sat us in a cozy booth, and we were taken care of the rest of the night. I came with two other people, and they both got the unlimited pasta deal for $17.99/person. With four bowls of pasta, they definitely got their money's worth! I got the chicken alfredo with broccoli, and it was great! Their breadsticks are to die for (obviously). The real highlight of our night was our server Matthew. He did a wonderful job of making us feel welcomed, and he was very attentive the whole night! My family and I always enjoy the food at Olive Garden. They have a good variety of dishes to choose from. The hard part is deciding which entree you want. A couple of years ago OG offered a deal where you pick a main entree and you could pick another entree to take home. The Take Home entree is cold and is meant to be heated at home. This second entree is a bit smaller than their normal entrees. OG now charges $6 for the Take Home entree, which is still a good deal. You can choose from their house salad or a soup of your choosing. They also give you two of their awesome breadsticks with your main entree. My family and I have called-in several times to take advantage of these deals. We enjoy this, since we can enjoy our meals from the comfort of our house. Their house green salad comes with red onions, their salad dressing and croutons. We also order their Minestrone Soup too. The entrees we've enjoyed are the Seafood Alfredo, Shrimp Scampi, Chicken Tortelloni Alfredo and Chicken Alfredo. The Take One entrees we like are the Spaghetti with meat sauce and Five Cheese Ziti. You get a good amount of food with your order. Between the salad or soup, breadsticks and main entree, it's filling. As a bonus, you have enough food and/or leftovers to enjoy later. This is easily one of the worst food experiences I've ever had. Went there with my family, after a few years just because of their name. The spaghetti pasta with marinara was so bad. They added broccoli to it which felt pretty raw. They gave a soup which tasted extremely bad and overly salty. The bread to go with it was similar as well. Seems like the chefs are not interested in making food. Even the fries and pizza in the kids menu was bad. Overall a really bad experience. Had to just leave the food, pay the bills and leave. Absolutely unappetizing, and I'm someone who pretty much eats simple foods. The best item we had there was their water. One thing though, their waiter staff were nice. We have been loyal olive garden customers for many years. Each time, for some reason, the waitstaff are excellent, they go above and beyond, the food is always good and consistent, but the hostesses at the front are always rude and I've seen this comment in a few other reviews. I shouldn't say always but our recent interaction left such a bad taste in my mouth. I came for a catering order, they were supposed to bring it to our car. 15 minutes later we don't hear anything from them. We go inside calmly ask for a status update and the girl in the front is so dismissive, im trying to get some answers and she is being so vague and dismissive. (I have her name but I just don't want to get anyone in trouble, however someone else called her out by name in another review.) Then she points to another girl and says "she will help you." the other girl does not even look up or give us the time of day until I ask for her name and even then she doesn't even ask how she can help!! I told my husband they act like our middle schooler, so indifferent and entitled, lol! I just don't understand. Maybe I am old. Anyway the reason why I bumped from one star to four was the Manager, I think his name was Gary. Super attentive, on it, just amazing. He gave us a gift card for the food being late, took us seriously and actually looked us in the eye and talked to us. He even made some comments about my husband's t shirt which had a band he liked, even though it was super busy, he took a few seconds to make a connection. I am not sure why there is such a big gap between the EQ of the waitstaff and management vs the host staff. I hope Olive garden will address this. Solidly a 3 star, almosttttt 3.5 star experience. My dad decided he was craving breadsticks and so we headed over to Olive Garden on a Sunday night at the Great Mall. Fairly packed, and ambiance was really good with chattering families, happy birthday songs being sung, and friendly smiles all around. I put us down for a table of four and we were seated right away, however my dad and stepmom hadn't arrived yet and so i think the server or hostess thought it was just us two, and gave us only two sets of utensils and two menus. My dad and stepmom arrived and i asked for another set of menus and utensils but they never came so we shared the menus. One menu had broccoli fettuccine smeared in between the folds which was kinda yucky. Soon our waitress arrived and we ordered: four glasses of water, two no ice. One rigatoni chicken alfredo with broccoli and grilled chicken, one shrimp alfredo, one chicken margherita, and a shrimp and chicken carbonara. We also got two soups, and two salads and ordered the fried shrimp/onion/bellpepper appetizer. We chatted for about 15-20 minutes before realizing our second set of utensils never came nor did our salad and soup. My dad found a manager named Hector, and Hector was very kind and got us our utensils and flagged our waitress to bring us our bread, salad, and soup. Funnily enough our fried shrimp app came out before the soup! The soup was fresh and hot and we all enjoyed it. Salad was mediocre but fine enough. I think their policy changed because now you cant switch between salad and soup - once you choose you're stuck with it although im sure you could have some salad if you wanted but they wont let you order any soup if you chose salad to begin with. Food came and my order was wrong - there wasnt any broccoli and it was made with fried chicken versus grilled. Dad's chicken was extremely salty, all four of us tried it and agreed. We flagged Hector down and he did a great job explaining everything and how the food was made and he recommended a less salty dish. They also switched my food with the correct order. But since it was a packed night, it took quite a while for all our fixed food to arrive and all of us ate our entrees at different times. We ended up packaging most of it. Haven't been here in YEARS! James was such a kind and attentive server he kept checking in on us and doing refills. Loved the eggplant parm and hubby got spaghetti. The service here was pretty good tbh. We consistently saw our server and she was very thoughtful with all of the little things. This was honestly like some of the best service I've seen in the Bay, especially including all the places I've gone to that are $50/person. For example, when she heard I asked for mints, she grabbed a handful of them because usually those who specifically ask for mints are quite fond of them. Came here at 7PM for dinner with a Party of 4. It was moderately busy as expected for a large Italian chain restaurant. We only wait a few minutes to get seated. Our party was seated at a booth. I would give this place 4 stars just because the food could've been a bit better. Olive Garden is a staple every once in a while for American Italian food with a large variety of options on their menu. Our server was very attentive and patient. She was rounding on us frequently during our dining experience. She was also reassuring us after we finished dining that we didn't have to be in a rush to get up and leave as my party was catching up after not seeing each other for a long time. I haven't been to Olive Garden in years so I took my time looking at the menu and I was craving pasta. I ended up ordering a peach Bellini, calamari, and the seafood Alfredo pasta. I also got the salad with Italian dressing, which was simple. The calamari was okay in my opinion, it was seemed a bit overcooked. I thought the seafood pasta was good, it came with shrimp and scallops for the protein. Honestly, it really hit the spot when I ate it as leftovers the next day though. Our server was great and lovely! After taking our order, someone else came in to explain to us what the buy one take one home is. He proceeded to say that "it starts at 17.99"....okay? We know that that's why my husband order the chicken parm knowing that it is additional cost. He said it like we cannot pay it like wtf. I think he's either a supervisor or a manager. My wife has been craving the Fettuccine Alfredo from Olive Garden since we were traveling over in Taiwan - to be fair she started craving any American food after a month away from the States. She ordered her Fettuccine Alfredo with crispy chicken and I ordered the Tour of Italy (something I had not ordered since I went with my family as a kid). We were a little disheartened that their soda machine was not working, so we couldnt order any Dr Pepper. Before our main courses came we each filled up on salad and breadsticks (I ate three and she ate two during our dinner). The salad was decent, a bit too much dressing but I guess that's what makes a salad taste good. By the time we got to our pasta dishes we both were pretty full and each only ate about half of what was on our plates - although honestly for the prices ($24+ for the alfredo with chicken and $27+ for the tour of italy the portions could have been bigger. We were full from the salad and breadsticks and glasses of water more than by the portions of the pasta. Flavor was okay. After eating my wife and I both kinda looked at each other with a sort of "post-meal" clarity where even though all the taste was good the price was too high for pasta at a chain. We walked out the door having ordered two entrees, no drinks, no desserts, no appetizers for $65. Perhaps better spent at a local restaurant. Price complaints aside, the service was excellent. We joined the wait list as we drove into the parking lot but didn't have to wait at all, which was great for 6pm on a Friday. Our server was attentive and friendly. The manager stopped by during our meal to check on us as well. The inside of the restaurant was actually very big. Lots of dining areas. The tables were clean, no sticky booths. The design felt renovated and modern. Clean bathrooms too. Plenty of parking since it's located in a mall. read more

First of all, I had ent been to this place in a good year. Now I know why. We sat down, family of five adults. I being 48 years old try to order a drink and was carded. I did not have my ID since I thought the gray hairs would give it away. I thought she was joking but she wasn't and she would not bring me a drink. I giggled and thought oh well water it is. We ordered an appetizer of dipping sauce with bread sticks. It never came and after 15 minutes the bottomless salad arrives with one bread stick for each person. You'd think with 5 adults there would be two salads brought but no and we each got a tiny bit of salad. No one came to fill the bowl or ask if we wanted more and no one brought more bread. No one refilled the waters. Horrible bottomless service. Our meals came almost directly on top of the salad and our plates were taken before we could even think about asking for more salad. My daughter and I ordered the $25 shrimp scampi and both bowls were 1/4 a cup of pasta and sludge that they tried to pass as scampi sauce. We could take our fork and pick up the entire serving in one scoop. $25 for maybe two bites of pasta. I was really upset and told my waitress and she blamed the chef and disappeared to tell a manager. Meanwhile I got ahold of a manager myself and let him know and showed him the ridiculous portion and lack of bottomless service. I was very upset and just said bring me a Togo package I wanted to leave. I kid you not the little container got my whole serving. Isn't it supposed to fit LEFT OVERS??? I don't know what other people do but I work damn hard for my money and that was NOT $25 worth of food. They took 50 bucks off the bill BU t it still cost us $127 for two drinks, and three meals.
