There are some new styles of eating burgers and fries: Triple Triple burger has three 100 % American beef patties , hand-lettuce, tomato , spread , 3 slices of American cheese , with or without onions , stacked high on a freshly baked bun . I like to have triple meat and only one slice of cheese . Grilled onion . Fries can be one of the 3 styles : Animal style fries : ( topped with melted cheese , grilled onion and their signature spread ) Well-done fries to have a crispier crunch Light : cooked for shorter of time and have less crisper crunch Light. I also enjoy their shakes and drinks . On top of soda , they have Neapolitan shake a layered blend of chocolate , vanilla & strawberry shakes in one cup Root beer float Lemon up / Arnold Palmer drink . I went to this in-n-out with some friends tonight for dinner. When I got there, there was a customer outside eating his dinner and getting signatures to save the BART system. He was being respectful and causing no harm. I witnessed a manager harass him and attempt to intimidate him enough to leave. When he said he has a right to be there, the manager, a tallish blonde woman, called the police on him. Overall a pretty disgusting way to treat a paying customer. 2 stars because the food still smacked. read more

A worker stood outside by the menu and took our order. After paying at the first window, our food was ready at the second window. Super fast, literally in and out! We got combo meals of Double-Double and Cheeseburger, with fries and medium drinks. The burger patties were seasoned well and moist. They also accommodated our request for no onions. Nice thick slices of juicy tomatoes. According to the fries tray, "our fries are made from whole potatoes that are peeled and diced at each store, a tradition we've upheld since 1948. Each order is cooked fresh for you in 100% sunflower oil." You can tell they were made fresh, still hot and crispy. We asked for extra ketchup and they really did give extra! Dropped by during the weekday at the start of opening. The lines for drive-thru was all the way to the street and inside line was queued to the door but moving quick with three cashiers servicing. This location has a lot of employees in comparison and the attitude was very pleasant. There was a girl constantly cleaning the tables and floor in addition to clearing trays. I usually asked for additional vegetables to my burgers and they definitely don't hold back. I understand why this location is so popular- excellent service, cleanliness and portions. read more

I had to give them a review this time because they really helped me a lot when I forgot to order some fries. I was there with my 89 year old grandmother and they were so quick and helpful with my fries when I had forgotten to order them for her initially with her burger. Short Story: Yet another great burger place in Fremont! Long Story: I've been coming here for over 15 years! The menu is much like all other In-n-Outs so I can't really comment on this. However the place definitely gets crowded...both inside, drive through, and the parking lot. I recommend to avoid after school hours and the weekend afternoons. The prices are always better than other burger places such as Habit, Red Robin, etc. This location is always busy due to its proximity to Costco and other shops. I've had issues trying to find parking and long wait times for the drive through. The food itself never disappoints and it's always fresh. The bathrooms however can be dirty at times as they are frequently used. The customer service is always top notch! Verdict: I'm going back! read more

I was really disappointed with the service. I had an issue with my previous order and was awarded a one time gift card that says on the back " Please enjoy any burger, fries, and beverage from our menu" that's what was stated on the card that they gave me from a previous visit. I was given this card because they took too long with my order from another location and skipped me and forgot about my order. So on this visit, I came to union city location in drive-through to use it. However, I handed it to her and she took the card and asked if I wanted the card back. I said no thank you so then I proceeded in drive-through however, when I got to the next window, she came running to front and said that I drove off without paying. However, let me say I had no issue if there was a balance and because she asked if I wanted the card back I said no and drove forward in drive thru. I was just bothered by her approach and tone of voice saying I just drove off without paying when the card states any burger fries and beverage. Had no issue paying, I just did not like her approach. And I told the other worker at the second window I don't want her to think I was rude if she thought I just drove off. I just assumed there was no charge because of what the card stated and I order those three items and she asked if I wanted the card back and I said no and kept going. We went through the drive through for a late night bite and ordered for three to eat in the car. Considering the time, I was happily surprised that the line wasn't longer. Their team member took our order from the line and was able to easily punch in our orders from the secret menu- they really are pros. We paid and then were given our food quickly. This recent time I've visited for sure satisfied my craving....like IT HITTTTTT The employee taking orders at the drive thru asked me if I wanted pickles and banana peppers in my burger. I normally don't even adjust my burger unless I feel like doing both raw and grilled onions but never thought or knew that you can add pickles. I said yes to both of course. There's a lot of customization if you want to get creative, even with their simple menu. This is one of my favorite locations because you can access both 880 and 680 relatively easily. Not to mention, there's plenty of shopping around for running errands and then grabbing a bite to eat here afterwards. I will say, there's plenty of people who don't like the fries. And I get it, they're kinda foamy. But I love them salted or animal style. Don't get them if you don't like soft fries, or just ask for them well done (cooked longer, crispy). Stopped for a quick bite and as usual this place is a hit. We decided to walk in and beat the mile long anaconda of a line with the cars lined up to grab their orders. There was nobody ahead of us and we got ... Trenton took our order and was patient all this while and made sure he repeated it back to us and confirm it. After that comes the wait ( it was hardly 5-7 mins) and it's every bit worth it :) Alberto handed out our order to us and he is one energetic, bubbling full of energy and as well makes sure that he greets the customers while they pick their order and always has a smile going on. This your typical In N Out but the location off 680 makes it unique. Also being in close proximity to Fremont's only COSTCO make traffic and the congestion that it comes unbearable at peak times. Pacific commons has a ton of store's restaurants and a movie theater close by so it sorta the last entertainment / food district on the way to great mall Milpitas and San Jose . Always stop here when we get a craving for their flying Dutchmen animal fries or 4x4's . Other than that ,plenty of parking and another run of the mill In N Out burger joint . read more

I never waited this long for an order and its one combo. The staff here is very immature and just talking and laughing. Waited for about 10 mins at the window. This location sucks. This location is located at Pacific Commons in Fremont, and it's hectic when ordering from a drive thru. I decided to dine in to give a full review of this place. Of course every interior of most In-N-Out Burger locations are identical and same. Not really a decorative place and it can get crowded especially when people go there for lunch. I ordered cheeseburger and fries with no salt, because it makes the taste more natural. You can ask them for no salt on both unlike most fast food places. I don't really enjoy eating burgers from a wrapper and so, I took it off before eating it. I am hoping that they start opening more locations in the center and east side of the US, because it's a good fast food place to go to. read more

Who doesn't love In-N-Out?! The drive-thru can take awhile, there is plenty of parking, but it is shared with other restaurants which can fill up! Depending on the days and times you go, it can vary wait time, but for the most part, in-n-out is fairly quick bringing the food out. Quality food and friendly service, that summarizes my drive-thru experience at the In-and-Out Burger restaurant at Pacific Commons in Fremont. Ok, I was stuck in the adjacent parking lot because the line to the Costco gas station was all the way into the street. However, the In-and Out drive-thru only had a few cars, so I drove in there. They had a person standing there taking orders. This is good and bad. It's good because he will get the orders right. It's bad because this poor guy has to stand outside in the sun. There were only 5 cars in line, and the line moved fairly quick. I used to be a fast food shift Mgr. The speed of a drive-thru depends on the skill of the crew, coordination between grill and service, and the size of the orders ahead of you. Also, the menu is relatively simple. That's why the drive-thru moves at a steady pace. I ordered a Double-Double, fries, and a chocolate shake. Total w/ tax=$11.03 The Double-Double burger was fresh and juicy. The condiments made it a complete burger. I asked for raw onions, and they added a crisp crunch to the sandwich. Fries...they say they're made from real potatoes. But they're thin cut fries. That means eat them quick, because the holding time is short. Chocolate shake: creamy, but not super cold. Nice blend, no air. It's an OK milkshake. Always a good choice. Sunday lunchtime or probably any day lunch time can get very busy and the line for drive through winds outside the parking lot which makes parking in certain parts of the lot a bit of a challenge to get in and out of. We usually opt to go inside and order to go since we find it's faster and our little guy gets some fun kids activity. In the past it was stickers which our kiddo LOVED. Lately they changed it to some kind of coloring activity book which he's a little too young to know how to do but we still appreciate the gesture for a fast food restaurant. We like to order our burgers with extra everything which gives you extra onions, lettuce and tomatoes which makes us feel slightly better about our fast food choice. read more
