My sister was ordering with her toddler, who is on the autism spectrum and struggles with verbal commands. While she was holding him, he reached toward the sneeze guard glass. Instead of a polite, professional request, the male manager approached my sister aggressively, yelling at her and threatening to remove our entire party. It was alarming to witness a manager raise his voice at a young mother and her child. When my mother asked another employee (Mahandra) if that individual was indeed the manager, she began to argue with us as well. While they claimed it is store policy to prohibit touching the glass, there is no justification for the aggressive, hostile manner in which this was handled. A simple, polite explanation would have immediately resolved the situation, as my sister would have gladly complied. Beyond this interaction, I had a previous experience at this location where their steak caused me food poisoning. Given the lack of basic hospitality and these recurring issues, I will not be returning to this specific location.

She also wanted the strawberry ginger lemonade. She said the sandwich was a really good size (meaning that she could only eat half) and shared it with our daughter. They both said it was delicious and both rated it 9 out of 10 for the same reason. They would have liked the sandwich on a hoagie roll instead of the bread. They said nothing was wrong with the bread, except that they both felt the sandwich would have been better on a hoagie roll if that had been an option. I was here for a Yelp event. I ordered one of the Made For You bowls, the Hot Honey Chicken bowl + Hummus. It came with brown rice, house greens tossed in red wine vinaigrette, cucumber, tomato, banana pepper, red pepper hummus, hot honey sauce, Greek yogurt sauce, and house-baked tortilla chips sprinkled with Parmesan. I had the chips on the side because I wanted my bowl gluten-free. The bowl was delicious. I would definitely get it again. I also had the strawberry ginger lemonade, which is freshly made as needed, since I saw Victoria juicing ginger for another batch of lemonade while I was eating. All of the other Make It Original options sounded delicious, too. I plan on returning to try more of their bowls. Overall, this was a great experience, and we definitely recommend the original Chop Shop.

They do charge by add-on if it's a premium item so you just need to pay attention if you didn't order it in person. I do understand they could be busy and just miss an item or two or ran out of certain ingredients also. I feel like the quality and consistency is better here than Chipotle or Gusto (at least the one I tried). I haven't tried all the other salad/bowl places nearby yet, but I do enjoy the freshness of the ingredients and options here. Their green goddess ranch is good (I haven't liked it at other places). I like their mushroom mix as well, probably even more than their steak. Their rosemary focaccia is a nice compliment to the bowls as well. I haven't had any bad items here so far. The portions are generous, which is not always the case with every salad place. I look forward to trying more things.

The falafel and fries are made as soon as you order, so let them know up front. 3. Dips are delicious. Regular and spicy hummus, and babaganoush are all insanely delicious and under $5 for a tub. Pairs perfectly with their bread. My only complaints is that meals are served in a flimsy bowl that sucks all of the moisture out of the hummus. I'm also not a fan of their reheated meats and slop-bowl serving style that America loves these days. Too bad, because the meat quality and flavor is good, but once it's reheated so many times, the beef, chicken, lamb, loses it's appeal. The ordering counter is crammed into the corner of the restaurant and is very stressful to maneuver if there is more than one customer. They seem to do mostly takeaway business, even though the dining room is spacious.

Man I've gone to this location for years off and on, I'm really surprised that I haven't written a review about this place sooner. Now that I'm back around this area again, this is a great location, right near 141 and 285, just a quick stop to get your chicken fix. They have the best nuggets in the fast food game and the staff with their "my pleasure" phrases almost make it worth the time to stop in and get some customer appreciation. Stop by if you are in the area, but don't do it on Sunday, That's the one day they aren't open. read more

I called the manager and asked her if she knew what he was wearing. Not only did she know what he was wearing but she supported it. She said that was freedom of speech.
