What a cute little place located in the downtown area of Norcross! The bleu house is a couple miles away from Peachtree corners and a great spot to go for lunch or dinner if you're in the area. I ordered the bleu house melt and it was so large. Especially for the cheap price point. It came with the side and I chose brussels sprouts. Really curious to see how the rosemary potatoes tasted, but I suppose that means I'll just have to go back! The sandwich was amazing and both the meatloaf and Brunswick stew that I tried from my parents were also incredible! It's been a while but the tea was perfect- strong but not acidic. I found myself going from one thing to another. It was all so good I couldn't decide what to eat next. You ordered at the counter and received a number. They brought your food to you and checked once or twice that everything was OK. Another Norcross gem! Extremely engaging service to complement the unique menu. The look and feel of the house setting is evident from entry to exit. Loved the quaint decorations & everything was organized your home's dining room with a pantry like self service station of to go containers. The food selections varied to accommodate every cuisine. The Bleu Plate special's caught my eye and the accompanying sides of brussels sprouts & Parmesan mashed potatoes literally jumped off the chalk board that listed the side items. Diverse groups were spread out including families, couples and even a few people that sprinkled in who were watching the Atlanta Braves playoff games at a nearby brewery. I was thoroughly pleased with my teriyaki salmon, and the flash fried, honey glazed brussels sprouts literally melted in my mouth. The potatoes were equally good, and thoroughly enjoyed by my companion who frequented the spot with his son after school, and apparently really enjoyed my Parmesan infused mashed potatoes! He had the brisket, which was served as a sandwich and came with one side. The drink station offered teas and lemonade that appear to be homemade. Sodas and other drinks were also available in cans and bottles. I noticed a cookie case as I was leaving, so you'll have to visit this phenomenal spot to sample for yourself. Went there for the first time this week. Really friendly service when greeted as I entered the restaurant. Loved sitting on their front porch. It's next to a park so you have nice views. Food was a 4/5. I got the spicy chicken wrap. Chicken had good flavor but was dry aka overcooked. I wish it had shredded cheddar jack cheese in it. Spicy ranch was my fav part of the wrap. I had to ask for more to dip my wrap in it since I felt like there wasn't enough in the wrap + I just like to dip sauce on my wraps. Didn't really like the taste and texture of the cheese sauce they used for the Mac and cheese. Took more points off because I found a little beard hair in my Mac and cheese. I'd go back again and would get the same wrap, but not the Mac and cheese, I wish they had pasta salad as a side. I bet they would make a tasty one. read more

I regret that I didn't read the negative reviews. I saw their average is high. As a bbq restaurant, it is too bad that their bbq meat is very bad. No taste at all. This place is too cute! I called my order in at 11:35am and got to the restaurant at 11:45am. The place already had a line and almost every table was full or being held... A great sign that the food is good and that I am late to the party! They have a small parking lot behind the restaurant dedicated to the building and street parking in the front. Get in where you fit in. They have indoor and outdoor seating on the porch as well as benches around the restaurant that you can always post up at and watch the dogs walk their owners, enjoy the sunshine and admire the artwork on the other buildings. This place is really great. It is only five minutes from my office located in historic Norcross. It was originally called the Bleu House Cafe however the name on the building now says the market. The menu which was printed inside says the Bleu House Cafe. I use MapQuest to find it and secured one of the four parking spots out back. There's a sign that additional parking is around the corner at the tea House. It looks like quite a few people were walking in the front entrance. I originally missed the area with the printed menus located to the right on the wall when you come in underneath the takeout containers. I was focused on the specials written in chalk on the board. This week as part of restaurant week you can add a drink and dessert for only $2. I had the KC pork tenderloin wrap which had bacon, jalapeno, cheddar cheese, coleslaw, barbecue pork tenderloin. It was delicious. For my two sides, I got a marinated cucumber salad which had dill and a bit of Asian seasoning to it. I also had the macaroni and cheese which was so cheesy it created a string from your fork to the bowl when you lifted your fork. This place is definitely popular and it is absolutely adorable inside. It makes you feel like you're in a country store type atmosphere. The drink station is simple. They give you a cup of ice when ordering and you fill up at the beverage area with sweet tea unsweet tea, water or lemonade. Exiting the restaurant is a little tricky. There are two entrances one from the street and another which I entered was from the back parking lot which leads to the ordering line. If you go out the front exit, you are taken to a tented patio area with seating and tent like exit door which I didn't recognize as a door. It all looked closed in but another customer helped me find my way out. Overall, I'd be thankful for the patio area as the temp is nice but with a chance of rain which the tent would protect you from. I am in town visiting one week each month and I will definitely recommend this to my coworkers and we'll come back myself. read more

I work in the area, and this is a reliable lunch spot for me and the people in my office. We usually place orders via the app and order take-out. There are a number of options from sandwiches to salads to quiche. Portion sizes are generous, and I usually have enough left over for lunch the next day. The Thai salad and the Sunshine salad are my favorites. Both are loaded with fruits and vegetables that make for a flavorful and filling lunch salad. The Tuscan sandwich is my favorite from the sandwich side, and I love that I can order marinated olives as a side. Much more indulgent than chips (although sometimes those are good, too)! The quiche has been a consistently good option, as well. I am usually not the pick-up person, but I understand that parking is limited and can be challenging in the area. The good news is that downtown Norcross is lovely, so it is a great place to take a stroll if you have to park at a distance. This by far is the best Lunch spot in Norcross. I have been coming here for yeaars when it was across the street. Found it because I used to work close by and some of my coworkers told me about it, and so glad they did. The ambience is always chilled, yet busy. If i get off work early, or work from home chances are I'm getting food here. I always order the Funky Chicken Melt, but make sure to order it with the bread inverted, otherwise is rather messy to eat (Thank me later) I usually pair it with a broccoli salad, or my favorite, Potato salad, yumm.
