This is the best chick fil a in Charleston, hands down. They're fast, clean, courteous, and rarely make a mistake. And when they do, they actually fix it and seem to learn from it. I've had one poor experience with the staff and it was quickly remedied. I live up the street so I'm there more than I should bc it's so easy and quick to grab food. Came through the drive through and had decent service. At first the employee was afraid to modify something for me but then she decided to try it after hesitation. I had to order a fruit cup with only strawberries and oranges as I cannot have the rest of the fruit they normally put in there. Thankfully, CFA was accommodating and they made me a special fruit cup, however, it was very limited in quantity. I did not expect them to fill up the whole cup, as strawberries and oranges are more expensive than apples and blueberries, but I did expect them to put a little more than they did. I must say that I am really not a fan of Chick-Fil-A. I feel the quality has significantly dropped off the past few years. On this visit I ordered the BBQ Bacon sandwich with fries and a drink. The sandwich was underwhelming and gross. My fries were not cooked fully and I left very disappointed. I also am not a fan of the drive through process as it is confusing and awkward when you ask to see a menu. I get that they obviously are geared to keep traffic moving but I don't frequent Chick-Fil-A so I don't know what's on the menu and wanted to see my options. This Chick-fil-A is busy, but they're efficient! They have two lanes for drive thru. Someone takes your order and payment on a smart tablet and then you pick up your food at the window. Their dining room is open which is a big plus to me. They also do delivery from this location and I saw at least 3 delivery cars outside. They're conveniently located across from Northwoods Mall and are in the same shopping center as Aldi, PetSmart, and Best Buy. My go to order is usually the original chicken sandwich, a large cookies and cream milkshake, and a medium fry. The Chick-fil-A sauce is addicting and goes great with everything. Um, ok? Why wasn't it up already? It's been an hour? You guys seem like you're very well staffed compared to everywhere else, and it's not that busy today. This place is poorly managed and it is very obvious to all with the exception of management. They usually have these poor young people out here in freezing weather or festering in heat, to speed up the lines but what good is that if you are still waiting over 10/15 minutes for chicken. Wouldn't it make more sense to put everyone inside all hands on deck and order from the speaker menu outside like all other places when you are short staffed. This location is ALWAYS busy! That's the most frustrating part. You will have to wait for a while here, but it's Chick-fil-A! Getting in and out of the parking lot and traffic light are the most annoying part, but it's the closest location to me so I put up with it. They've never messed up my food order, but they often forget the sauces when I order in the drive-thru. They often give me regular lemonade instead of diet lemonade, but I just put up with that. Nice, clean, friendly-employee CFA location. That seems to be the norm in my experience with CFAs, unlike most other fast food chains where they often have crappy-run locations. Service was fast here, delivered to your table. No complaints with the food; tasty as always. They have a double drive thru line set-up at this one, and during afternoon rush hours they have some serious volume, but the cars seem to move fairly quickly. The inside was half empty during my visit; guess everyone was hitting the drive thru on their way home from work.
