I got a spicy chicken sandwich, the flavor was very good, not too spicy. I really like how it was breaded the perfect amount. What threw me off a bit was that a part of my chicken had some chewy part to it, maybe it was tendon or fat, but it interrupted some of my bites. Okay Chick-fil-a experience. Whenever I go on a road trip, it's usually the one time I'll allow myself to have either Chick-fil-a or In-n-out and, this time, it wasn't Sunday so Chick-fil-a it was. I've come to discover that the best way to order is online, ahead of time for pick up. Chick-fil-a always has lines inside or in the drive through so it was very convenient to order ahead and time my pickup with my driving. As soon as I arrived, my order was ready, and I was basically able to run inside and grab it right away! I'm simple with Chick-fil-a so my usual order is just a plain chicken sandwich. This time, it was earlier in the morning so it wasn't available and I opted for the hash brown scramble burrito instead. I honestly don't think I've ever had breakfast from Chick-fil-a and I wasn't a fan of the burrito. I felt that it wasn't really loaded and it was actually quite dry and therefore unenjoyable to eat. At least I know better for orders in the future and I'll probably stick to my non-breakfast sandwiches! read more

The chicken strips are delicious! I think they use a special season oil to cook them! I love the Polynesian sauce and the sweet tea is very refreshing. The service was fantastic, Stephano went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable delivered the food to our table even got us some extra napkins. Consistently good, no matter where you are. Facilities very clean, and the employees have a clean-cut appearance. Employees circulate asking if customers would want drink refills and if everything is right. Do like no sugar lemonade. Prices have not jumped much compared to other fact food places, but now that Calif has a $20/hour minimum wage, prices will most likely go up. read more

Second day in a row I received the tiniest kale crunch salad known to man. I asked why it's so small, when I order from Fairfield or Vallejo the container is usually full. This is literally 3 bites and it was almost $6. How? The staff said that is the correct portion so maybe just avoid ordering at the Novato location. read more

Came here for lunch and had a filling time of it! This location is near a large shopping area, but was not too crowded this afternoon. The location itself is bright and clean, with lots of seating and a small but useful kids play area in the back. The counter help is friendly and efficient, even though we had multiple adults ordering many items on one tab. For starters (we made several trips for more food as the meal progressed!), we ordered some waffle fries, of course, and a salad, and Chick-fil-A nuggets, and Chick-n-Strips, and a Chick-fil-A deluxe sandwich, and a Chick-fil-A grilled chicken club sandwich, and a Frozen lemonade drink, and we had a couple of meal upgrades so also had a fountain drink and sides of waffle cut fries. Whew! The food was quickly brought to the table, and was nicely presented on a couple of trays. The frozen lemonade was a new treat for me, and was lemonade (they also have a Splenda sugar-free is you prefer), mixed (I believe - I didn't watch) with vanilla soft-serve. It was different, and not too sweet or tart - just delicious, like a lemon milkshake. They have other milk shake flavors, of course, but this is my favorite! I actually had a second large one!! Sooooo good. The fries were good, and with a variety of dipping sauces you can vary from the usual ketchup for some adventures (the Chick-fil-A sauce is really nice!). The salad was a little too "boxy" and unremarkable, but I guess you don't come to a chicken restaurant for a salad! The sandwiches were good as well, with fresh crispy chicken in a variety of settings, so to say - different cheeses, spicy or regular, regular prep or grilled - something for everybody! We did go back for another sandwich, more Chick-n-Strips, more waffle fries and more drinks . . . just too much goodness. There is also an option with a kid's meal to trade in the toy, a coloring book in this case, for a soft-serve ice cream in a cone. Which, of course, led to another visit for a second cone! Ohhh myyyy . . . After we were all fed, we realized that for a chain-restaurant this was a really good meal we all enjoyed. And of course, we will return! This rating is based on this latest experience. It seems like the quality has been getting worse and worse as time goes on. We come here fairly frequently and this most recent visit was not good at all. We get the same meal every time and this time the pieces of chicken were tiny, like nugget size, and cold. The fries were cold too. And the worst part is, they only gave us half the sauces we asked for. This is the kind of meal I would expect at McDonald's or jack in the box, but not chick-fil-a. I would have given it a one star if it was my first time coming here, but in the past it has been better. Hopefully they get their business together and fix these issues. This past time we had our order taken from an employee with a tablet. After we placed our order, the employee didn't double check to make sure it was correct. This location has completely gone downhill! This was the first location I have ever tried. But after this visit and my last (in December) I am sad to see how things have not changed. The place is always dirty. Food, straw wrappers, napkins, even empty sauce containers on the floor and left on the tables. I understand it's the employees job to keep it clean but common people need to clean up after themselves. In a county such as Marin you'd expect more because I have never had any type of problem at the Rhonert Park location. Other things I'd like to add: the stench of the restaurant was unbearable, we had to eat in the car. It smelt like the trash bins hadn't been emptied in days, and when I went to throw away my food bag I knew why. They were over flowing. - they didn't give us food trays or even ask if it was 'for here or to go' - when I went up to grab my food they didn't ask if we wanted sauces or which sauces we wanted - fries were extremely undercooked Spend your money elsewhere or at another location. read more

Honey pepper pimento is supposed to come with jalapeños, they gave Me just the bun and chicken. When I asked for jalapeno, they gave 3 little pieces, the coca cola was way too watered down and didn't taste like coca cola. The staff was unpleasant. **DISCLAIMER: Pre-COVID review. Came here during Winter break coming back from a road trip from Reno. Needed a pick me up so we decided to dine-in. This was my third time going to Chick-fil-A, and my experiences are normally 4-5 out of 5 rating! It is always a treat coming to Chick-fil-A since there is none in or near SF, the closest would have to be crossing Golden Gate Bridge which is already pretty far. I knocked off stars because this location was pretty messy... the trash was loaded and everywhere... Service was pretty slow considering there was not even that many people... Normally no matter what time of day, Chick-fil-A is pretty fresh and hot but for some reason the food this time did not taste as great, was not as hot as if it was just cooked. I mean yeah...fast food aint completely authentic but atleast cook it hot when made to order you know? The staff here seemed very stand-offish as well and the vibe was just very tense when ordering...so who knows what happened there... Parking is pretty decent, kind of limited. read more

This Chick-fil-A is quite the happening location! Usually I don't give fast food chains reviews, but this place stands out as far as good fast food and service. My usual order is the chicken strips combo! Personally, I like the strips better than the nuggets as they're a bit juicier (since they're not bite size). It pairs perfectly with their waffles fries and lemonade which are also legit! Word of advice during COVID restrictions: download their mobile app and order with curbside pickup. The drive thru line usually flows into the street, but with curbside you eliminate having to wait in line and they bring it right to your car window. Regardless, Chick-fil-A is always pretty speedy, but why wait in line if you don't have to! Plus their app has incentives which is nice. All-in-all, if I'm shopping nearby or on the road looking for fast food, Chick-fil-A is my go-to! read more

I just ordered 4 sandwiches from this location and these were the thinnest slices of meat I've ever gotten in a sandwich from Chik Fil A. Thoroughly disappointed. In addition, usually the staff is super friendly but the guy (Timothy) who rang me up was the complete opposite, in addition to the fact that he asked me what sauces I wanted and when I received my food, no sauces came in the bag, so I had to ask for the sauces again and when I showed my receipt they only gave me one of each sauce, not one per sandwich. Review #172 - 2020 My two nieces and my daughter are pretty big fans of Chick-fil-A so whenever I'm short on time, I always know I can count on Chick-fil-A, as long as it's not on a Sunday. I placed a mobile order about 15 minutes prior to our arrival and it took about 7-10 minutes to get our food after we parked in the curbside pick up area. We showed up at around 1 PM on Saturday, September 26th and it was very busy. This location does not accept drive-thru online orders, as it appears that their drive-thru lines are pretty limited. The pick up areas are pretty disorganized compared to other locations, but they tried their best to make do with what they had. The young man who brought us our food was pretty friendly even though he was super busy. I showed him my "free cookie" Yelp check-in offer and he went off for a while, but I thought he'd forgotten since it was so busy. I was about to drive off, but he showed up right before we left.
