We got the strips just to try, they are wonderful. The ice tea was fresh, my daughter had a milk shake and it was heavenly. As she put it "so much creamy goodness". They have waffle cut fries that are done to perfection. They are always busy, but the lines move fast and if someone is looking at the menu they take the next one in line. They have several kinds of sauces. I've tried Chick fil A sauce, BBQ, Polynesian, and honey/mustard. All of them had great flavor and add to the meal. I went through the drive thru at 9:55 this morning. I did have to wait a little longer than usual for my breakfast items, but had no problem with this and did not complain. The crew however did feel so inclined to thoroughly explain to me that the half hour before the lunch switch over things slow down, becomes stressful for them as they are trying to get breaks done and that I could be in line a long time. There are a few things you expect from Chick-Fil-A, friendly service, good food, and a clean restaurant. This is the first time I've been to this new location, and it has absolutely lived up to the corporate standards, and exceeded them. I was at the front of the line only minutes after walking in, and the cashier, Carolina, was friendly and enthusiastic and made me feel very welcome there, unlike other fast food places where the cashiers seems bothered by your business. Oh goodness! We have missed this place since we left Texas. So not only was the drive thru person super cheerful and inviting, but we shared the same name! I was like no way I'm jaime too! Not only did they get my order right the first try but once I got to the window the gal Rachel was AWESOME! Shocking fast and efficient service. We went in at 12:35 Saturday. It wasn't rush hour, it was CRUSH HOUR. We were in line for 4 minutes, ordered our food ( I got a #2 Spicy Chicken with A sauce and a shake, wife got chicken nuggets and iced tea) sat down at one of the available tables ~ the place was packed. Our food arrived 4 minutes later, 2 minutes later got my shake. Our food was fresh, delicious and the service was completely outstanding! Exactly opposite of my Steak and Shake review. 5 Stars for quality, speed and service. Highly recommended. This place was SLAMMED and the service ran like a Swiss clock, even though there was ALOT of customers, it didn't affect the speed and quality of our visit. On December 14, 2021, I was driving past the Chick-Fil-A on McCarran in Reno, Nevada. It was really cold and the roads were wet. I thought I hit black ice because the truck I was driving spun out and hit the curb. Come to find out, there was a big piece of metal in my tire that cause it to blow out. Clearly my tire was flat and I couldn't drive the truck. I didn't think about a spare being UNDER the truck, duh. For some reason I didn't have my phone either. I went to Chick-Fil-A and asked if they could call me a cab and they couldn't have been any nicer to me. They offered me some coffee and allowed me to stay inside out of the cold...it was in the 20's. They made a note of my vehicle information so they could make sure it wasn't towed. They continued to try to get me cab...I waited for almost 2 hours. They checked on me several times. I regret that I didn't get the names of the 2 employees that were so kind to me. A young lady with glasses and a young college age man. This isn't a review about the food or service, per se. I was just touched by their kindness and thoughtfulness. I wish I could include their names as they deserve the recognition. I'm so thankful. I hope they see this and know how much I appreciate them. read more

Food is okay. I think its odd you cant subsitute a breaded chicken to the blt sandwich. Some people dont like grilled. When asked we were told they couldn't make any subs. They were able to leave off the tomato and even gave us credit on the receipt. First time ive seen a fast food discount when you take off items on your sandwich. That was cool. Yes they have had long lines since they recently opened in Reno...but just like I remember from the other locations that I have visited...the food is good. Though unlike the other locations; the services was great. With the friendly prompt service I was impressed. Apparently they did well hiring good help with personnel who care and want to make a difference. Good food and great services I'll be back. read more

Wonderful customer service! They are trained so well! You always get a friendly hello and they are busy often but so efficient. I really like the chicken sandwiches and chicken nuggets. Highly recommend if you want something faster and pretty healthy (especially for fast food). read more

Well I seem to have poor luck in the fast food world and it continued tonight a Chic-fil-a. I have tried to take away food for my family on two occasions from this location. In both instances food was missing from the order. The last time was 4/4/19 at 4:58. My cashier was Ryan and he rang up an order for my entire family to go. I had forgotten about my previous experience with the store so I didn't not check the order when it came out. $38 for what turned out to be French fries x3 a gluten free chicken sandwich and chicken nuggets as well as 4 drinks. They forgot an order of nuggets and a chicken sandwich all together. No matter how many "my pleasures", the service failed and in all honesty I feel cheated. I gave the food I did receive to my wife and children and I write this having gotten nothing but a drink. As a note to the store manager whom I left a message for ( we shall see if I receive a reply)kind words from a cashier will never replace actual food in my bag. I will not return. read more

Just spent 25 minutes in drive-thru, They were not that busy. Some guy out there in the left hand lane taking an order on an iPad. There was only one car in front of me and he didn't seem to be able to input the order. Never go there again. Then when I got to window I was behind same car and another 10 minutes there. Fast food is overrated but Chick-Fil-A's chicken is pretty darn good and not greasy. Ordered their chicken nuggets for the first time with their famous waffle fries....soo good! We dined in....in line we had one of the clerks come up to us to take our order, after we were seated our food comes out within a minute, customer service was quick. I want to start this review by saying I absolutely love the food here. It's delicious and gets out fast. Every time I've come here the workers were very nice. However I have to leave a 3 star review because of the service. I have been here 3 times and 2 times they have forgotten a food item. The first time I came here they forgot to put in a chicken wrap and this last time I went they forgot to put in one of my sandwiches. Everytime I have gone here they have messed up the order. The receipt will be correct but then they'll take out the completely wrong sandwich. Many times when going through the drive thru they forget items, I've had to go through three times to get everything. Now I know to check the bag before I pull from the window. read more

This was my second visit to a chik fil a. My first visit in Bakersfield was a huge disappointment given the build up some of my friends gave me. This Reno location couldn't have been more different. The place was packed so I opted for the drive thru, there were 4 employees, well dressed, clean with superior manners and excellent customer service . They were polite, helpful and fast. They got my order right and the sandwiches were far better than my first visit in Bakersfield. This place is about as squared away as it gets. The 4 stars is for getting a portion of our order wrong, but, even though it was wrong, the food was still amazing. They could mess up my food order and I wouldn't be mad because it's all really good, not that getting an order wrong is a good thing but in our case, it wasn't all bad. Now the service was top notch and I quickly came to like the way they operated right as we were pulling up, it was raining and they still had staff out there taking orders and moving us along nicely. I had ordered with doordash. It was My first time having chick-fil-A and I really dig this place. Both chkn and spicy chkn sandwich is superb. The waffle fries and chkn nuggets are pretty good. It was all perfectly fried cooked,moist,succulent and flavorful,deep fried in peanut oil,yum,I definitely can taste the difference. I really digged their chkn tortilla soup and I gotta say the sweet tea and lemonade is the most refreshing beverage I've ever had, their lemonade is the real deal. All totaled out to be a wonderful and satisfying experience. I most certainly will be ordering here more often. read more

Great service and great food. This location is always busy at lunch but we beat the crowd by a few cars. Food is fresh and hot and made to order. If you take their challenge when eating there and eat your meal without being on your cell phone you get a free ice cream. You can't beat a chick-fil-A. read more

I hate to do this cause their food is delicious but in light of what happened there today I feel I must. About a quarter of the way through our meal, my husband overheard three employees ( about 2-3 feet from our table) disdainfully discussing people with tattoos and how they would NEVER get a tattoo, in a very condescending tone. The conversation then went on to say things like well, this IS Reno ( definite implying Reno is trashy) and also something about how you see a lot of that on fourth street ( anyone from here knows that is definitely not a compliment). My husband (who has many tattoos)is a mellow dude who rarely gets mad so when he's mad I know he has good reason and we rarely complain because I'm in the food service industry myself. But he was extremely offended that they would hold this conversation right in front of guests. He works his butt off as a highly respected educator in our community and I don't think he deserved to be insulted while eating because he has tattoos ( none are distasteful btw, not that that should matter). I get people have opinions (I have many) and as a server have thought many things about my guests and people in general. However, in order to be professional those conversations should be held in the back of the house. Not amongst your customers. As a side note to those employees who think tattoos are so terrible, you never know-the doctor saving your life might have a sleeve or the teacher working past contract time to help a special needs student might have some too so pipe down. My family and I were visiting from CA and it was our first time at a Chick fil a. We ordered the spicy chicken, original chicken, chicken nuggets, strips, fries, and had a cookies and cream shake. Food was great, we loved the sauces. The only down point was the service. I asked the guy if there were free refills on the soda and he yes and the staff would be walking around. Every time I asked for a refill I'd get a "surprised or annoyed" look. It wasn't busy and I didn't understand why they just didn't put the fountain machines in the lobby like a normal restaurant? read more

We have always loved CFA, great food with a family atmosphere. However, the South McCarran location did not meet expectations. The chicken was rubbery and the fries were only filled half way. After hearing all of the hype over this place my husband and I made our way over to try and I have to say I was super disappointed. The interior of the restaurant was nice and clean and the staff was super friendly. The downfall for this place as far as I'm concerned is the food. My husband and I ordered their tenders and their nugget combo and asked for 1 of each of the sauces. The chicken is extremely forgettable, nothing special here at all. I would compare the nuggets to what you would get at Wendy's or McDonald's. As for the tenders I would rate those even lower. The tenders were tiny and mediocre. As for the sauces, I have to say I really enjoyed the Chick-Fil-A sauce as well as the Polynesian for the tropical sweetness. I'd say if you're looking for good fast food chicken in town, skip this place and head down the street to Canes. Not only is the quality of food miles better but the pricing is better for how big their tenders are. read more
