This is one of our 'go to' chicken places. They consistently have quality chicken, fries, and coleslaw...never changes...pretty much always good. The service today was friendly and came with a smile. The restaurant is clean and always seems to be being maintained with staff wiping down tables. I have never been treated so poorly or talked to so rudely in a drive thru in my entire life. This experience had to be shared, and serve as a warning to drive thru customers. The service was absolutely terrible. I had placed an online order for lunch. The employee at Raising Cane's said we needed to come inside to fill up the 9 sodas, and that it was rude to expect them to fill up the sodas on a large order. We kept this order simple and all the sodas were the same. We told her that the line was so long, she'll have plenty of time to get them ready by the time we got to the window. It seems out of spite she filled all the cups to the tip top with ice, and I kid you not, 3 sips of soda in the cups. Also one of the meals we got only had about 10 French fries, and the Cole slaw was dry cabbage with no dressing. The services was horrible, the experience was horrible, the food and drink as a result was a disappointment. There was no customer service or consideration during this whole process, and left a bitter taste. Will not be going back any time soon to be treated like an inconvenience by the staff. read more

Every time that I come here I order fries extra crispy and they never make them extra crispy and now there not even edible to eat there like raw the last couple times I come here and another issue is that they don't give out trays anymore they put everything in Styrofoam containers the food here is no longer good they always rush and the bread is good one one side and the other side is not cooked either it's like always under cooked I don't know how it's hard to mess up fries and chicken fingers but this location always seems to be doing that I don't think that I will come here no more food is always not made good and is undercooked and every time I eat inside they just don't hand out trays anymore read more

So this was my first time that I can remember trying. For the family we got (2) Caniac combos. Six pieces of chicken tenders, Texas toast and fries with coleslaw. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Nice and crispy. Texas toast was decent and fries were good. Coleslaw was OK imo. All in all was a good meal. Came here for lunch and WOW! It was such a better experience and absolutely delicious. It was served quickly after ordering. The tenders were moist and tender, the toast was warm and soft and the fries had the perfect amount of crisp. We also ordered fountain drinks. I got the sweet tea and it was so freshening. The food came out really hot and was delicious for fast food chicken. The dining area was clean, as was the fountain drink area. The location and drive through line make it nearly impossible to get into the restaurant, then when you try to get out you have to wait for the drive through line to give you a gap. The chicken is bland and half of the strips I ordered were dry. The fries are the definition of nothing special. This is the thing that got me, I ordered $40 worth of chicken strips and didn't get a single sauce. When asking for a couples sauces I was told they SELL THEIR SAUCE! Actually I am a new fan. I visited several years ago and was not impressed. Now I am. We get the combo box to share for lunch for 2 people. Super great deal that way! They take a bit in their cooking but your chicken is piping hot! Canes secret sauce is great and we ask for extra ketchup. Great value in my opinion. If I were a manager, I'd probably have thrown me a sauce because as you can see from my photo, the line was OUT THE DOOR, and the drive-thru line was crazy long too. So I'd give me a sauce and say, "this is on us, but just so you know for the future, we charge XXX for extra sauces and they only come with combos." But that's because I'd make a good manager and nobody knows how to do customer service anymore. Oh, they used to bring you food to where you sat, but not anymore. Bad ambiance. I was wondering if we were going to have a Christmas gift drive this year at all. So glad Cane's stepped up for us this year! A very nice intimate setting inside the Cane's dining room for yelpers to enjoy. I have to admit, I was a Cane's virgin until tonight, I've never been a big fast food fan but Cane's is changing my mind. I actually like the food being inexperienced with them. Another yelper had to school me in the "sauce", lol I had no idea what it was for. The chicken fingers was a new experience for me to try, they were not what I had expected from deep fried chicken, I was expecting dry overcooked chicken fingers, fooled me, this definitely a good change of pace for me. ONE LOVE! That seems to be their motto as seen in this Reno location. Raising Cane's where I live in SoCal has lines and lines and I was never interested in the super long waits to check it out. Inn Reno at 10:00AM it was just my hubby and I along with two other customers in the restaurant. Our cashier was so enthusiastic and professional. Yay for awesome service. I'm not much of a chicken eater to begin with but, my curiosity had me ordering the kids meal with a few chicken fingers, fries, and a drink. I like the Raising Cane's sauce, chicken fingers, and toast! Fries are were ok. My hubby also found both tasty as well. The walls had the cool framed posters of Chuck Norris and Muhammad Ali. Had to take pics of those. We will mostly likely not go to the SoCal ones with the super long lines and waits but, most definitely return to Raising Cane's if out of town at a not-so-busy location. I have come here MULTIPLE times. I always ask for my fries extra crispy. The receipt says extra crispy. The worker repeats it to me. And then I get it, and it's NOT extra crispy. I know that's true because the other order doesn't have extra crispy fries and they're always the exact same. I normally go drive thru, so I don't check them until I get home and it's not worth driving back. How the heck do I get my fries extra crispy!?!?!?!?!?!??????!????
