Who doesn't love In-N-Out Burger? I remember anytime we drove to California, we had to stop in Auburn, no matter how long the line was just to get our burger fix. It was a must every single time. Now look at us, we've got three locations in Reno, one on the way, and even one in Sparks. Back then, we paid about $7.95 for two full meals. Now it's closer to $16--and we're sharing fries and a drink That said, the quality is still fantastic for fast food, and honestly, the price is still pretty reasonable. The staff really know what they're doing too. They've got a system to keep things moving, but let's be real, it's still usually a 20-30 minute wait in the drive-thru when it's busy. I always wonder... would it be faster to go inside? Honestly, I don't think so! Whether you're inside or outside, it's worth the wait the moment you take that first bite of a freshly made burger or those hand-cut fries. And don't forget the milkshakes-lthey're so good! I came inside here to get some food while I waited for a meeting I had in an hour and a half. It had also been a long time since I've been to an In-N-Out! The inside was mostly clean aside from the floor in desperate need of a mop. The cashier was friendly and greeted me with a smile! I waited only about 10 minutes for my food. Not bad. A double cheeseburger with fries and a milkshake. The burger was okay. A very average burger with nothing special about it but nothing bad either. The fries were pretty mediocre, pretty small and a bit flat in taste. The milkshake was the same as the burger. Good but nothing special Overall this was a perfectly acceptable place with good food, but not much more. Especially the menu which is hilariously tiny. It was lunch time. Fritzie W. had to run an errand. What does she on occasion crave for lunch? A burger. My first choice for many years now has always been In N Out. I want a simple burger, made easy, ideally fresh and with a service that's patient, courteous and human. Kiosk aren't bad, it's just I'm a people person and I like the know the vibes of the people who prepare and serve my food. It says a lot about if you really want to eat anything from a place. The cashier was patient. After Fritzie made our order she needed to follow up with an order for a gift card. They have gift cards! She almost wasn't sure what amount she wanted to get, but the young lady was patient, allowing Fritz to almost change her mind after settling on an amount. Lol The staff working in the kitchen were hustling to make those orders. Everyone knew their job and they executed it well. I don't think they've ever messed up an order whether dine-in or drive-thru. Finally, served with a smile. We asked for them to be made to go, then had them placed into separate bags, we requested some spread. Done. Eat. The burgers, predictably deliciously. We both got number two with grilled and plain onions and regular fries. We all know the extras one can get if wanted. Right? I don't usually eat their burger buns, I think burger buns can be over-whelming but I did today. Their protein style with the burger wrapped in lettuce is delicious by the way. Haven't had it? Do it! The fries tasted fresh, lightly salted and delicious. Their shakes are easily one of the best in town when--you're not trying to be on a sugar high for two hours only to feel the late afternoon crash. It may be just enough for your daily serving of sugar, but I haven't gone that deep into the nutrition facts to verify! All in all, a tried, true, tested and perfected experience when all the right variables are in play. I'm from well out of the area, so naturally visiting for work I was brought in to try the staple that is in n out. Animal style double cheeseburger. It's the typical fast food level disgusting, messy... plain and just another zero personality fast food burger. There was nothing that set it apart from any other chain I've had, it's just as awful. I came here Saturday night around 7pm. The drive thru of course was crazy busy, so we went inside. We were able to find a small table for the two of us. Yummy food! We were there at about 4:15 and there was no line. A lot of cashiers waiting to fill and i think they were fully staffed. Our cashier was prompt and fast. I ordered #2 which consisted of the cheeseburger and i upgraded my fries to animal style which has caramelized onions on it and some sauce. My son had the buns toasty and it upgraded the taste of the whole meal. I also had the strawberry shake and it was light and not too sweet. We saw a staff cleaning tables and sweeping the floor making the place really clean each time a table is used. Overall, a great experience! read more

So either get in the "wrap around" line or park a little farther and walk in like me. If you park in the front of the In N Out, you can expect to be "blocked" with the wrap around drive thru line. This location is always consistently so busy... and also very consistently delicious! The staff is on top of keeping it clean and helping you locate a table to sit which can be tough at such a busy spot with a family! The food is always so good and the staff is positive even during busy times! We loved how quick and kind they were during their free Veterans Day meal event today! This is the closest In-N-Out to me, and it's the one I like best. The employees are always friendly and are hard at work at their jobs. The food is fresh and tasty. The bathrooms are clean. It's all the things you expect from In-N-Out! Four stars rather than five because the parking lot is relatively small and can be a zoo. Four stars also because it can sometimes be hard to find a place to sit to eat. I've never seen anyone abuse their table privileges by hanging out there too long, but you sometimes need to be a hawk to find a group that is ready to leave so that you can be ready to swoop in once it becomes free. read more

It was a busy Sunday evening. I didn't go through the drive-thru. I parked next door at 7-11 and walked in. The line went pretty quickly, but the wait was 25 minutes. I waited 25 minutes for them to have gotten my order incorrect. It wasn't bagged to-go like I'd asked. They missed an extra hamburger and the girl was taking my entire order away. And then asked me to go stand in line and reorder. Wow! I don't think so. I simply asked her to forget it and just bag the food. Ridiculous. I even repeated my order to the girl who took the order. By the time I made it home, the fries weren't even good cold. I've had cold fries from other spots and they still taste good. It was a waste of money. The hamburgers are subpar. We recently had the pleasure of traveling out to the western part of our country, Nevada to be exact. One of the high points of our visit out west was finally going to a In-N-Out Burger restaurant! Let me tell you it was well worth the wait. We chose to go into the restaurant rather than through the extremely long, takeout window line, so we could experience the full experience of In-N-Out Burger. So we both ordered a double double meal. Allow me to construct the sandwich from the bottom up, roll base, special spread, tomato, lettuce, hamburger patty with cheese, large onion, hamburger patty with cheese, top of bun. The fries were straight cut fries served piping hot. For our beverage, we both decided on shakes. I had the strawberry shake, my bride chose a chocolate shake. So what is my take on this iconic Western United States burger joint? It was absolutely terrific, juicy burger with just the right amount of toppings, with that special sauce, made for a memorable burger. The fries were very good also. The shakes not bad. To be fair, I would have to say it's on par with a Culver's butter burger, which of course we have plenty of Culver's around Tampa Bay! read more

Did you know that all In-N-Out burgers do not have a freezer or microwaves installed at any of their locations? Yes, that's 100% true. The reason why is they believe in delivering only the fresh ingredients available. The company has a long standing policy of serving its food fresh. Therefore, all locations must be within a certain distance of one of their distribution facilities. I guess that's one reason why Hawaii doesn't have an In-N-Out Burger in our backyard... When craving burgers and it's almost midnight, looks like everyone's go-to is In-N-Out. We went through the drive thru and it took about an hour before we finally received our order of burgers and fries. I'm guessing the walk-in wait is similar because there were groups of people standing outside the entrance as well. We got 3 Double Doubles Cheeseburgers with 4 fries. I really wish the burgers were bigger because when I hear "Double Double" I imagine it taller and wider even though the difference is one more patty. However, they were really generous with the amount of fries we got. The fries tasted too soft like they were sitting out for a while.
