2x3 Animal Style no tomato add hot peppers

Let's start with the fact that I don't eat fast food if I have a choice as to what I'm going to get! I traveled the USA and Canada for many years playing Sax with lots of bands (www.RickMetz.com) and the only choice I had was wherever the band vehicle stopped. Usually, we were under time constraints and we got the quickest thing available. I never liked it... But, if there was a little extra time available, I'd try to find a "real" restaurant in the vicinity to eat at. Didn't happen as often as I would've liked, but I made do. I've tried multitudes of fast food places because of those circumstances...nothing was really to my liking...especially the "major" fast food chains...you know which ones I'm referring to. Then I tried In N Out while touring through California!! OMG! I loved it! Smiling, friendly employees, clean establishments, great customer service...and still fast. (Pro tip: if the drive thru is jam packed? Park and go inside) Always made fresh and to order... Once I learned the "secret menu", that was the kicker for me! (https://www.in-n-out.com/menu/not-so-secret-menu) To be able to customize my burger in any way I wanted it at a "fast food" restaurant? Blew my mind! This is the ONLY "fast food" that I'll seek out... There's lots of debate as to their fries and their shakes. I like the shakes, but only get one once in a while...not a fan of the fries...but, I don't eat a lot of fries anyway... My go to? 2x3, Animal style, no pickles, no tomatoes, add hot peppers. Always delicious! Even though the price has increased over the years, I still feel that it's well worth it. You should try it to see what YOU think!

I came inside here to get some food while I waited for a meeting I had in an hour and a half. It had also been a long time since I've been to an In-N-Out! The inside was mostly clean aside from the floor in desperate need of a mop. The cashier was friendly and greeted me with a smile! I waited only about 10 minutes for my food. Not bad. A double cheeseburger with fries and a milkshake. The burger was okay. A very average burger with nothing special about it but nothing bad either. The fries were pretty mediocre, pretty small and a bit flat in taste. The milkshake was the same as the burger. Good but nothing special Overall this was a perfectly acceptable place with good food, but not much more. Especially the menu which is hilariously tiny. Burgers, fries and drinks, that's it.

The service was better than we've ever had before. The line moved swiftly and the parking lot wasn't as busy as it usually is. Our hamburgers and double doubles were good but there were a few strange looking fries in our meal that looked different than they've cooked them before.

I came here Saturday night around 7pm. The drive thru of course was crazy busy, so we went inside. We were able to find a small table for the two of us. Walked right up to the counter and waited about 15-20 minutes for our food. Honestly, for In N Out, that's impressive ! This spot is efficient and quick. The food itself, I mean, who can compete with their food? Simple and delicious. I love that their fries taste like actual potatoes ! I miss having this old school diner feel in restaurants. We don't have places like this anymore

Yummy food! We were there at about 4:15 and there was no line. A lot of cashiers waiting to fill and i think they were fully staffed. Our cashier was prompt and fast. I ordered #2 which consisted of the cheeseburger and i upgraded my fries to animal style which has caramelized onions on it and some sauce. My son had the buns toasty and it upgraded the taste of the whole meal. I also had the strawberry shake and it was light and not too sweet. We saw a staff cleaning tables and sweeping the floor making the place really clean each time a table is used. Overall, a great experience!

This location is always consistently so busy... and also very consistently delicious! The staff is on top of keeping it clean and helping you locate a table to sit which can be tough at such a busy spot with a family! The food is always so good and the staff is positive even during busy times! We loved how quick and kind they were during their free Veterans Day meal event today! So awesome that a double-double meal was free! They even gave out awesome stickers in celebration!

Quality/Quantity - Consistent. Got our usual cheeseburgers; one with raw onions, and one with grilled onions. But you already know that because you are following. Oh, when did you change from water to soda water...? See pictures. Anyways, I like it. Thank you. Atmosphere - Parking and drive thru might be a slight challenge. So either get in the "wrap around" line or park a little farther and walk in like me. If you park in the front of the In N Out, you can expect to be "blocked" with the wrap around drive thru line. And you will have to hope for a nice person/car to let you out. Open 7 days a week from 10:30am to 1am or 1:30am; see my pictures. Service - Good, especially for a dinner rush. The team moved fast. Price - Inexpensive. If you are following and read my recent two In N Out reviews, we have been paying $4.25 in CA for our cheeseburgers! You are still $3.85! Everything is less expensive in NV, thank you! Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1948 with your 400+ locations and still keeping it within the family!! Thanks for keeping it simple and good! And congrats on now in the following states: Arizona, CA, Colorado, Idaho, NV, Oregon, Texas, and Utah!

This is the closest In-N-Out to me, and it's the one I like best. The employees are always friendly and are hard at work at their jobs. The food is fresh and tasty. The bathrooms are clean. It's all the things you expect from In-N-Out! Four stars rather than five because the parking lot is relatively small and can be a zoo. Four stars also because it can sometimes be hard to find a place to sit to eat. I've never seen anyone abuse their table privileges by hanging out there too long, but you sometimes need to be a hawk to find a group that is ready to leave so that you can be ready to swoop in once it becomes free.

We stopped in on Friday night. Ouch! It must have been after a football game because the line was out the door. We were starving so we stayed. The line moved fast. The staff must be used to the long lines/crowds. Food was ready shortly after we sat down. Lesson: Don't give up. This location is great. Also, recommend double veggies, it's free.

    Location.

This location whether busy or like this day is always clean and tidy. The staff were very welcoming and professional. The food was quick for a double double meal. The fries are always hot and fresh. Be ready to self season. I'm not adding food pics because if you're reading this you already know. Thanks and enjoy.

So glad we finally tried this place!…read more Some friends of ours tried this place a few years ago, but honestly, I had never even heard of it until I recently saw a review pop up. I told my husband, "We've got to try this place!" We were going to be downtown anyway, walking along the river, so it seemed like the perfect time. I'm so glad we did! I have to say, this place is definitely hipster--and I mean that in the best possible way! It has such a cool, unique vibe. There are diner-style seats with limited space right up along the bar, outdoor seating, and even a bus that has been turned into dining space. The bus was super cute and quaint inside. Today was absolutely perfect for sitting outside, so we took advantage of the beautiful weather. Our waitress, Nicole, was absolutely adorable! She was friendly, welcoming, and made our experience even better. There was another gentleman helping serve us as well, and unfortunately I didn't catch his name, but he was also super nice and attentive. Now for the food! I ordered the Pastrami Pile Up, and boy, they weren't kidding--it was PILEDDD UP! There was a generous amount of really good pastrami, along with a 1/3 pound burger. The pastrami was delicious. For me, the burger could have used just a little more seasoning and I had asked for medium-well, but it came out more medium. I didn't want to complain, though, and overall it was still good. The tater tots were fantastic! They came out hot, crispy and perfectly cooked. Definitely the kind of tots you keep eating even when you know you've already had enough. My husband ordered the Nevadan Burger with Swiss cheese, and he said it was really good. He also got the fries, which were hot and very tasty. There was so much food that we ended up taking some of the fries and our burgers home to enjoy tomorrow. And then there were the Parmesan garlic wings. My husband said they were absolutely delicious and had just the right little bite to them. I'm not really a wings person, so I didn't try much, but he was definitely impressed! Overall, we had a wonderful experience and are so happy we finally gave this place a try. Between the fun atmosphere, unique seating options, friendly service and generous portions, there's definitely a lot to come back for. Next time, I think we're going to try something completely different--and I already have my eye on the fried Oreos with ice cream! So glad that random review popped up and convinced us to give this place a try. Sometimes you just have to follow the recommendation and go!

For starters, the food is decent…read more With that said, if you advertise Happy Hour prices, they should be honored. I went specifically for the Happy Hour wings, and when I received the check, the price didn't reflect the amount stated on the menu. I asked to speak with the owner, and instead of correcting it, she told me she gave me a quarter off and, with a smug smile, said, "Thank you very much." Sorry, lady, but your food isn't that great for you to be so confidently rude. In addition, this was my second visit this week. I only returned because my sister loves chicken wings, and because of the advertised "Happy Hour" price, I decided to give them another try. We also ordered a plain burger to go with just cheese, and when I got home, it was loaded with all the fixings, including sauce. I called several times to have the issue addressed, but no one answered. When I told the servers about the situation during this visit, instead of trying to make it right, they gave me a half-hearted apology. So yes, the food might be diner decent, but the owner's attitude and the poor service make the entire experience worse. I've worked in customer service for over 30 years, and not once have I treated a paying customer the way I was just treated. And if they want to respond to this review to justify their shitty service, great. Go for it. I was polite the entire time. All I asked was to be heard, for their advertised pricing to be honored, and for some basic appreciation for my business by simply making things right. Instead, the owner insultingly put two quarters on the table, as if 50 cents somehow made up for the $8-$9 difference we were being overcharged. It didn't. If anything, it made an already frustrating situation feel even more dismissive. And it really was an easy fix. If they couldn't adjust the Happy Hour pricing for whatever reason, she could have easily taken the $18 pastrami sandwich off the bill to make up for both the pricing discrepancy and the incorrect order we received during our previous visit just two days earlier. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I was asking for an owner to recognize that her restaurant had made mistakes on two separate visits and make a genuine effort to correct them. In a city full of burger options, she had an opportunity to turn a negative experience into a positive one and potentially make lasting customers out of my family and me. Instead, she chose to be dismissive, smug, and rude over something that could have been resolved in a matter of minutes. That tells me everything I need to know about how she values her customers.

While visiting Reno, I found this butcher shop/restaurant on another social media platform…read more Everything they had to eat looked good and they highly recommended it. So I decided to give it a try. My husband and I were there for lunch. Upon walking into the store it is just so light and bright and open. The presentation of meats and seafood are displayed so beautifully. The menu for fresh food cooked right off the grill was right next to the cash register. My husband went with the bison, barbecue burger, and a side of fries, and I had the original burger with my choice of cheeses. Everything was prepared and served hot and fresh! We were offered ranch to go with our fries. I had a house made thousands island type sauce (but way better) to go on my cheeseburger. It was delicious. I asked one of the employees (Sarah) what was in it. She was very pleasant to talk to and very knowledgeable about all of their house made sauces. I told her that I loved the garlic in the Thousands island style sauce so she gave me a sample of their garlic aioli sauce! If you are a garlicholic like me, this is a must try!! Chefs kiss, for sure! I cannot recommend this location enough! When in Reno, it's a must try! If you go, tell Sarah her perimenopause, Indiana, garlic loving friend said hello!

Been waiting a long time to try this place. It did not disappoint. Yes these are ~$20 burgers but…read moreyou get what you pay for. Top quality meat and different meat & cheese choices. (Their Classic in my photo is probably their least impressive looking burger.) I ordered medium rare like always at a high-quality joint but I accidentally got someone's medium-well, and after tasting both, I actually preferred the the medium-well as the grind on the rare part of the medium-rare was a little mushier than I'm used to. Probably because most places you order a medium-rare you actually get a medium. Not here. I'd go medium on a return visit. I like they don't overseason the burger with too much salt like a lot of other places. Eaters with palates desensitized to salt due to a lot of fast food/burger eating may find the need to add salt to satisfy their salt craving. The burger sauce is also served on the side and is a bit milder, and more homemade tasting compared to your average burger sauces. This is great because the meat is so good you really don't want to overshadow it with salty seasoning and overpowering sauces. If you're going to dump a bunch of salt and sauce on it, just go to In-n-Out. They also have sandwiches, tenders and chili. If you think about it, a butcher shop deciding to serve cooked food is taking a risk. If the food isn't that great it can affect their meat business. The shop atmosphere is very upscale with high prices to match it like the rest of Rancharra Village. Very limited indoor bar dining and some tables outside. Not sure if the really high prices for the meats and seafoods in the case are worth it, but the saying "you get what you pay for" at least applies to the burgers here. My only suggestion is take a sharpie and scribble the cook temp (medium, medium-rare, etc) on the paper in the burger basket so groups don't get their burgers mixed up. They verbally pointed it out but it's easy to forget by the time you get back to your table with 3, 4, or 6 burgers. Fry basket is a great value, easily enough for 2 people and probably some of the best thick cut fries I've ever tasted with sort of a very light seasoned crispy panko outer texture to them. Updated Reno Burger Rankings primarily on quality/taste but also value is factored in but to a lesser degree: #1 Armandos #2 Royce #3 Beefy's tied with The Parlor #4 Archies Giant #5 Juicy's

Everything was amazing The ribs were succulent, and fall off the bone, tender, and the barbecue sauce was rich and tangy. The hot link had a good flavor, and had just enough of a "zip" to it, that got my attention. There was a good amount of pork in the beans, and I'm not sure what was in the sauce, but it was rich and delicious. The coleslaw was nicely, dressed with a little bit of pepper in it. The cornbread had just a little bit of a "sweet" to it, which I really like. It was also very tender. It didn't need any butter, or anything. This amazing meal, they only charged me 20 bucks.
