    There's a party going on
    Maria T.

A fun event was going on at this location: a daddy daughter dinner, complete with live music by my hubby, a cow princess, which was udderly adorbs, crowns and goodie bags for the youngsters, pink mocktails, photo sessions and chix nuggets all around. It was a cute party albeit a bit chaotic. Wow! So many people and kids! The place was packed. The lines for the drive through never got shorter and were nonstop. If you don't mind the excitement and deafening din, by all means come by for din din! We all know how good the food is at Chick-fil-A! But if you was some space and peace, you may want to try moooo-ving to one of their sister stores!

Family trip so we decided to grab a sandwich for the road. Normally I'd park and go in, but today we picked the drive through. They have two lines so we were thinking it wouldn't be too bad. I was wrong. We arrived shortly after 11 am thinking it wouldn't be crowded. There was already a decent line. We ordered our sandwiches and fries and then waited and waited and waited. We inched forward and then waited a little longer. After 20 minutes we made it to the window. For fast food Chick-fil-a is good...a little too salty but that's what msg does to food. If they would solve the drive through, I bet they'd seriously grow their business. I can't imagine being on your lunch hour and spending 20 minutes in line. I think I'll stick to parking and walking in for future visits.

Large fry that's not large at all!

I placed a curbside order today for 4 chicken strips, a large fry, small mango passion tea lemonade with light ice and a side salad. The food was brought to my car quickly which was a positive. Once I got home to eat any food, I pull out the fries and the container wasn't even full, it basically looked like a medium sized fry. I tasted my mango passion tea lemonade and there was no lemonade or mango and no ice. I called the restaurant to see if there was a way to get this resolved and the manager Jonah told me to either come up there to get it replaced or come again and mention the situation. I decided to go back tonight, so the situation was fresh in my mind and could get resolved now since I was hungry. I went back up to the location and went to the door since the drive-thru was very long. I was approached by an employee asking if I worked there and told her no and informed her of the situation. She sent a manager out and I was given a new large fry and a brownie and cookie to make up for the negative experience I just had.

    Spicy chicken / fries

So a few months ago it was my first time eating at a Chick Fil A. And all I can say is that it was chicky good. Long story short I eat only halal (similar to kosher), when I found out that my dietary restrictions are met at most VA locations, I got super excited. I knew while visiting my sister in Richmond, I have to stop at a CFA. The experience was good. Actually I'm craving a spicy chicken burger right now. Starting out with the bun of the burger, it really makes it or breaks it if the bun is not good. And boy, it was good, buttery, soft, mellow kind of good. The chicken was cooked just right with the hint of spice. The fries were the prefect way to get this. Waffle fries have always been my weakness and these just made me stronger for my future waffle fries weakness. The employees were very patient and polite because it was my first time and I took my time and asked questions. The sauces that you can take on the side are a must with the fries. And lemonade to drink with your meal and there you go, you get the CFA experience. I will be back Richmond VA for some halal Spicy chicken burger. ~

I had this place in my bookmark for some time now, and I was very pleased with almost everything! I was very satisfied with our meal overall, I would say the mac n cheese while well seasoned, was slightly over cooked, there were some hardened pieces of noodles in the mix. Now the customer service was great, I didn't catch the gentlemen's name who was working alone, but he was very friendly and attentive! Unfortunately the cleanliness can be better we had to wipe down our own sitting area and the floors were kinda sticky. Granted there was only one person working, so maybe that could be the reason? The meal which came with five tenders and I got the crinkle cut fries. For sauce, I got the honey mustard, mambo sauce, and the hot honey. The food came out hot. The chicken tenders were crispy and well seasoned. The fries were hot and crispy. Of the sauces, I liked the honey mustard the best, but that's usually my go to when I get chicken tenders. If I am ever in this area again, I will definitely stop by this location. Highly recommend.

This location has gender neutral restrooms. Our order: a SmokeShack burger with extra ShackSauce on the side, a plain hot dog, the free fries with a cup of cheese sauce, a s'mores shake, and a complimentary cup of water. The verdict: The burger was excellent -- very juicy with a crispy, proper smash-burger sear. The ShackSauce wasn't for us -- it has an unfamiliar tang we couldn't quite place (Dijon?), so you may want to taste it first before committing. Fries were fresh and crispy, but I still prefer fresh-cut fries elsewhere. The s'mores shake was delicious, but a suggestion: get wider shake straws! It's nearly impossible to pull the mix-ins through a regular straw. App feedback for management: The app needs cheese sauce and ShackSauce as add-on options for online ordering -- we had to request them in person. Menu suggestions: Hot dog topping options are also limited; relish should be a standard choice, and chili would be a great addition. And personally, we'd love shredded cheese as an alternative to cheese sauce on both the fries and hot dogs. Worth noting why the prices run premium: Shake Shack uses 100% all-natural Angus beef with no hormones or antibiotics ever, and their shakes are made with real frozen custard -- spun fresh with real sugar and dairy, not syrup mix. The "fine casual" approach means fast-food speed with better sourcing, and you can taste the difference in the burger especially. IMHO, we'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Only a couple of people in the dining area and about 5 employees behind the counter. When I went to find a seat, the third table I got to was clean, though there was trash on the floor under it. Lemonade was a cup FILLED with ice and topped up with what was a 24 ounce cup with probably 10 oz of lemonade for over $4. Fries were fresh, but the spicy seasoning was too heavy. The hamburger was sort of dry and not all that good. I know McDonalds makes a better burger for a LOT LESS money. At these prices, I was expecting a burger worth writing home about, but it was below McD's quality.

We dined in, and like most times we're here a manager walked around checking on guests and making sure everything was good. We were talking about how much we enjoy stopping at this location because of the food quality and how clean the restaurant is. Of course, they wanted to do the challenge and try the hottest level--the "Reaper." But baby...when I found out it required me to sign a waiver?! Yeah, that was a hard NO for me. So we played it safe--one got the medium, and the other went with the hot (or super hot--whatever is right under that Reaper level). Now for me--I kept it cute and went with the mild slider and fries. I only ordered one slider because I saw how big they were on someone else's plate, and I was right--it was HUGE! And let me tell you, it was actually really good. The chicken was flavorful, crispy, and cooked just right. And listen... I am not a coleslaw person at all, but theirs? Surprisingly good! The pickle added that perfect sweet and tangy kick that pulled everything together. The restaurant itself was clean and had some really cool, colorful artwork that gave it a fun vibe. And the service? Excellent! The cashier was friendly, patient, and really knowledgeable about the different heat levels and flavors, which made ordering super easy. Now, the only downside for me was the price. It felt a little high for what you get, (the meal did not include a drink) so I did take off a star for that. But overall, the food was good, the kids really enjoyed it, and it was a fun stop during our trip. If you're in the area, I'd definitely recommend checking it out! Rating: 4/5
