    Double ShackBurger
    Abi M.

Great burgers and shakes, love their commitment to quality sustainable meat. We enjoyed a fun night out for burgers fries and shakes with the whole family to try this location out. The inside is pretty nice with plenty of seating. It's expensive for fast food but i understand the quality differences. One star docked only because, call me old fashioned, but I dislike pushing my own buttons and leafing through a menu to figure out how yo choose certain options etc. I'd rathet speak to a person and have them take my order. But such is life in 2025...

French onion, soup, burger, and Parmesan truffle fries with aïoli dip

Went with family on a Saturday afternoon. The limited edition French onion soup burger was pretty tasty. Seemed kinda small but tasted great and the atmosphere is clean and pleasant. Family liked the Parmesan truffle fries- I thought they were just okay. Not a lot of truffle or Parmesan flavor for me especially compared to Red Salt's fries. Outdoor seating is available and there are several gender neutral single bathrooms. Parking is easy but no easy way to exit if you want to head east back down broad.

Food is exceptionaly delicious some of the best Korean chicken I've ever had in my life before there's so many options I had a hard time choosing HEHE but I'm sure all of it was good.

Burger should not be in the name. Where's the beef??

It was my first visit, and I was genuinely impressed with the ambiance, service, and overall quality of the meal. The menu offers a nice variety of food and cocktails. I ordered the espresso martini, which was smooth and well balanced, and my boyfriend had the Vieux Carré, which he really enjoyed. We started with the cast iron goat cheese, and it was rich, layered in flavor, and paired with bread that was delicious on it's own. For my entrée, I chose the margherita pizza, and it was one of the best I've had. The sauce was perfect, and the crust had an ideal texture and flavor. My boyfriend ordered the spicy sausage & black pepper honey pizza. While neither of us found it particularly spicy, it was still bold and very flavorful. Service was friendly and efficient throughout the evening. It was a wonderful experience overall, and I'm looking forward to returning.

When we first walked in, the place was pretty crowded, but we were able to grab a couple spots at the bar and figured we'd settle in for a good night. That's where things went sideways. The bartender appeared to be the only one working, and while I understand being busy, the attitude and behavior were honestly shocking. Every interaction felt aggressive. Remotes getting slammed around. Napkins and pens tossed onto the counter. Water being splashed onto the floor like a toddler throwing a tantrum. The entire atmosphere at the bar felt tense and uncomfortable. It got to the point where we almost felt awkward ordering anything because every request seemed like it was ruining their night. At one point another couple sat down next to us and almost immediately started looking around like, "is this really happening right now?" I actually ended up warning them that no, they weren't imagining it, and that it had been our experience the entire time too. That alone should tell you how uncomfortable the atmosphere was. Which is unfortunate because the kitchen actually did their part. The food was good. Really good. But good food only carries a place so far when the service makes you want to leave before the meal even arrives. I've worked in and around hospitality long enough to understand busy nights happen. But there's a huge difference between being overwhelmed and taking it out on customers. Tazza Kitchen has the food figured out. Now they just need the front of house experience to match it.

They have a very limited menu at lunch so you have a few appetizers to choose from, a few salads and sandwiches and burgers, so straight up American food. It does skew southern with crab cake sandwich, pimento cheese and fried chicken. For an appetizer we decided to try the wings. They were good and came with ranch drizzled over the wings. For entrees my husband got their farm & oak burger with Cole slaw and I got their wedge salad with fried chicken. Both were good. The salad was nice and cold and crisp, which was appreciated on such a hot day. It did have too much dressing so next time I might ask for less dressing or have it on the side. I enjoyed the food, service was good and it is a pretty restaurant. I'll probably come back for supper some time to try some of their more in-depth meals.

The waitress over heard me mentioned the temperature to table and proactively took the plate and said "I'll have them remake it for you" the manger returns with the plate in his hand and asked if I wanted the food reheated or recooked. In my opinion, after a plate has been walked back and forth several times and talked over it's not longer appetizing. Not to mention I order it medium, wouldn't that compromise the texture of the meat? I felt insulted by that question. I would like the 50.00 meal to feel worth it. Reheating food doesn't feel like the appropriate approach. UPDATE.. the lamb chops return over cooked. The entire meal was ruined. Four to two. I really wanted to like this place.
