I visited this outlet of Chic Filet on Veterans Day, just past , at the urging of a checkout person at the Home Depot behind the restaurant. She mentioned my Veterans hat and hyped the benefits for veterans at restaurants all over town. I picked Chic filet, one of my two favorite fast food places in town. I placed an order and asked for the Veterans discount and produced my VA card (disabled Vet). I was advised that CF only honored discounts for active duty members in uniform. I paid, went to the pick-up stop and asked for the manager. One met me, heard me out and said I should have received a credit of half my bill and said she would fix it. She went back inside. I was told to pull forward and wait, which I did until I was told to pull away, which I did. I received no adjustment or refund of part of my bill and upon arrival home I found that the bag contained an order of fries I had not ordered, and I noted the added charge of about $1.75 for the fries. I called to speak to the owner/manager/operator whose name appeared on my receipt. He took my third call, apologized and went to great length to explain how he insured his entire staff was thuroughly trained to recognize and extend discounts to Vets, Police, and all first responders. Thousands of dollars a year, he said. He had no excuse, except for the size of his staff, for the failure of any of his staff to be aware of the discount due curbside ordering Veterans, not only on this day, but every day. He did advised that there were no pre-opening instructions to crew on Veterans Day nor postings relating to any different treatment of patronizing Veterans to honor them for their service on Veterans Day. Nor was he aware of why I, who he had no way of knowing had been a frequent patron of this outlet, and who never leaves the house without a Veteran hat, had never been favored with any type of discount on the occasion of any prior visits. That despite a staff that always appear to be otherwise very well trained, always courteous and attentive but they just don't seem to be able to differentiate between a Veteran and someone in a cow suit. I accepted his apology but declined his offer of the return of the rebate due a Veteran and the overcharge for the unordered item, on one condition, as follows: Since he was in the restaurant, I asked him to pick out the next veteran through, uniform or not, and give him/her the credit I was due against his/her order, (if the now available Veterans Day discount did not cover their check) and provide me with a copy of the receipt showing that credit. I had planned no further follow up, including a return visit, but enough time has passed for a copy of a receipt to have reached me. Unless I am mistaken my contact information was left with someone that identified himself as a manager on my first call. I did give the owner the order # which appeared on my receipt which also contained notation of the overcharged item and my credit card info. Name, local bank, etc. This isn' t a complaint about food quality, nor sanitation, nor employee courtesy. All have been first rate on every prior visit. There was a problem. Neither the curbside wait staff, the pick-up door manager, nor the phone responding manager were knowledgeable enough to cure, despite the extensive training I was assured every employee receives. The Owner/Operator said a lot of nice things but the bottom line is that there has been no showing that anything was done. What would you do? It was only $10.00 or $12.00 bucks, to a Veteran, on Veterans Day! By a pair of claimed Vet owners no less! read more

I understand that Chickfila is busy a lot, considering that this is the only one around. I'm from Tennessee and i have more local Chickfilas around and my sister works at one, I've seen busier. The service was pretty respectful but a little slower than I expected. But I got 2 Chickfila sandwiches and they were probably the smallest breast I've ever had. Tried one of their new salads today, Yummy! We even had an employee come around and asked if we wanted some freshly ground pepper. The pepper mill must have been two feet long. The food is hot, tasty and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Nothing against anyone, but I had one issue that I want to mention: can you please tone it down with everyone having to say "have a blessed day"? We had an unfortunate experience with this Chick Fil A. We love the restaurant in our hometown of Gainesville but when in St Augustine on summer vacation, we tried the store on US 1. Since it was July 4th, a busy day, I decided to order online. I paid online as was required and received a confirmation email. When my husband picked it up, he was told that there was no record of the online order. He showed the email with confirmation, but they still had no clue. He then ordered on the spot and paid for it. When I later checked our credit card statement, I saw that they charged us for 2 orders. The one they had no record of and his on the spot order. I called to speak to a manager. A junior level manager took my number and said the manager would call me ASAP. It's been weeks and no word. read more

Wow, how does this have a 4 1/2 review. I ordered a 12 ct. Chicken nugget meal with large fry and Vanilla Iced coffee. First of all, they only gave me two packets of sauce for all my food, when I used up just one packet on half my fries. Second, they forgot to put sugar in my coffee so all it tastes like is coffee with milk. Last of all, they did not put ANY napkins in my bag, when I ordered finger food. Going to eat at Chick Fil-A, I was expecting very big things. The reviews here on Yelp were very good, I've heard all my friends brag about how great the chicken is, and EVERY time I've ever driven past the place, it is absolutely PACKED. One day I decided to stop in for lunch, and I have to say, although it didn't quite live up to expectations, it was very good. The drive-thru, like every other time I've been by the place, was wrapped around the building, and there were two young ladies outside taking orders to get everyone around. Since I didn't know the menu, I decided to park and go inside and order there. Thankfully, there was nobody ordering inside, and I hopped straight to the front. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and a small order of chicken tenders. The food was given to me in less than two minutes, so big ups on the quick service. The ladies behind the counter were also very, VERY courteous, so way to go on the awesome customer service. The chicken tenders were unbelievable. Tender and juicy, just enough breading, LOTS of chicken, and unlike every other fast food joint, I actually got enough dipping sauce to cover every single square inch of chicken tender. The spicy chicken sandwich was pretty good, although I have to say Wendy's is actually better. It tasted good, but didn't knock my socks off like I was expecting. Overall, I was pretty satisfied with this place. The tenders were awesome, chicken sandwich good, the restaurant was clean, service was top-notch, and the prices were pretty good. By far the best Chick-fil-A I've been to! The drive thru line at lunchtime wraps around the parking lot but the staff do an exception job at moving the line. There are multiple people coming up to your car before you even get to the window. You order and scan the rewards all outside and then drive up to pick up the food. Expensive fast food that just tastes OK, but not great. For the same price one go to a much nicer restaurant like chili's or outback. This company loves that the public thinks they are so healthy, when in reality they are close to the same calories per meal as McDonalds and burger king. They pressure cook there chicken in peanut oil instead of frying it. This is suppose to make them seem more healthy. But when something is submerged and cooked in its own oils, the fat never cooks out of it like it does when you fry something. That's why the product is always juicy, and the bottom of their nugget boxes are always soggy. read more

This is one of the best, if not the best fast food restaurants I've ever been to. The location is always clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the food is excellent. Service can be a little slow at peak hours but only due to the sheer volume of traffic and business that they do. Highly recommended for a lunch or quick dinner with the kids. read more

The employee who handed my drink to me was rude, didn't even speak to me even though I said hi to her. When she handed me my drink, she acted like I have leprosy. If it is lunch you better skip this one. Aweful parking lot. Your trapped if you park and if you are in line for drive through it does not move because of all the trapped cars trying to get out. Watched a family park at Home Depot and walk in, order, eat, leave while I was in line. read more
