Chic fil a never disappoints, from their organized order taking to their Chic fil a culture of clean cut kids saying have a blessed day. Through the years, they have stuck to their beliefs and have offered delicious chicken and sides. Their soup cured my cold once! lol it's delicious. I love their sugar free lemonade too! I love this location and have never had a problem until this morning. I would highly recommend this place for lunch and dinner, but not for breakfast. I sat in the drive thru line for 10 minutes and I was nowhere near the window to get my food. I finally had to get out of my car, move the cones and get out of line. I always enjoy coming to this Chick-fil-A when I'm in Northern Florida. The way they cater to you to offer refills, more sauces, and bus your table -- it's like fine dining. The food was to brand standard with perfectly salted waffle fries, half sweet/half unsweet tea that tasted so good, and juicy chicken sandwiches. Stopped in line was incredibly long. Was waiting in the drive-thru line for over 15 min. I was bummed because none of the three kids meals that I ordered had books or whatever they usually add in to them. Drive thru line was pretty minimal - usually I go into places but I just got done making 2 hauls to my storage unit .. on a hot day. Pop in line, order taken .. then ... nothing. No movement for 15+ minutes. Sun beating in the car, people getting twitchy.. Finally I make it around the curve. 2 cars to go and I'm golden. Both cars literally asked the sweet gal who brought their food for a gazillion add-on's.. ok it's my turn .. I'm at the window and I say "wow, that wait was brutal ". The nice teenager reply's "we ran out of filets". Huh, chic-filet runs out of chick filets .. got it. Grab my bag, off I went. But... I got like only 4 fries that I guess paired great with my large cup of ICE that yielded 3-4 sips of lemonade. The caveat? My spicy chicken wrap was mainly lettuce. We eat Chick-Fil-A everywhere in the USA because of it's basic and "palatable" fare. We know of the politics of the owners and we hope they won't stop taking our order based on the recent SCOTUS ruling (we are poly-theists). Anyhow, this store is totally overwhelmed, almost all the time, but the facilities are clean and of course the staff is young, well groomed, and polite. Yet, no matter how many times we order Mac and Cheese we don't get any in the bag (which I should never have to check). This is not once, twice, or thrice. A dozen times is fair and accurate. They need to filter the water they use to mix in their soda, etc. It makes the drinks taste like a swamp. Service is great as is the food.

My wife and I stopped in for dinner and we were very impressed. The restaurant was very clean. Service at the counter was excellent - super nice staff - fast and efficient. The service here was AMAZING!!! A big shout to Berry and Johnny, they were on top of making sure we had the best service poss during our visit. They made sure our drinks were filled, that we were satisfied with our meals and also brought out free cookies!! This is by far the best chick fil a I have ever been to! The customer service at this location is absolutely horrible. The cashier ringing me up outside didn't offer a discount she provided for the others in my vehicle. I was eligible for the same discount. When I asked politely for the discount she rudely sighed and said I could get it next time. Well next time wasn't the right answer because I already had a discount available for next time, so it's not as if the next trip I could redeem it and make up for her error. I politely asked if she could fix it and she radioed in as they were going to fix it. An employee ran out to my car and asked for my card I paid with. I asked what for as no one made it clear how the overcharge would be fixed. I again thanked him once he explained what he was doing. He brought the card back and I thanked him again. However, days later I got a call from my boss asking me to come come see him as it was reported I screamed and demanded a discount at chick fil a. I never acted in this manner, and this whole situation was turned around and fabricated to be something entirely different than what occurred. I am truly disappointed and in shock how this restaurant conducted itself and the lack of customer service offered. A chick fil a employee made a complaint, told the manager and the Manager called my boss. As a result I was called in to my bosses office and was takes to. My concern is my side was never asked for and the restaurant manager bought what his employee said hook line and sinker. What he does t know is, he was lied to by the employee. I never acted unprofessionally. I have three witnesses to back this up. If a manager is going to call someone's boss to complain, why didn't the manager try to verify the details that occurred and obtain both sides of the story before calling my boss? We have to understand cause and effect as well as ramifications for all involved. That goes with any situation. I am so disappointed in this restaurant and institution that I will never eat here or at another chick fil a again in my life. I have shared this with friends and family and they too won't patronize chick fil a. The moral of the story is always ask for both sides of the story and before you run hook line and sinker with the employees story be careful of the ripple effects. Used to be my favorite place but since the remodel it is overwhelmed. I waited 20 minutes for breakfast on Friday and 15 today. Both were drive-thru orders. Today our order was wrong so we turned around. Once fixed we were at about 25 minutes for a drive-thru. And the hash browns were burned. We love this location, staff and ownership but St. Augustine has outgrown one CFA. As a result of long waits and poor quality I've become sad--we were regulars from 2003 til now. I was at the drive thru at Chick-fil-A in St. Augustine in the morning around 6:30 AM. The vehicle in front of me had dogs and three employees came out through the drive-through and started petting the dogs and letting them lick their faces. This Continued for approximately five minutes. I did not witness the employees wash their hands before returning to work. I asked the employee working the drive-through and she was dismissive about it. I called and spoke to the manager, and she states that this behavior happens all the time. She stated their employees are supposed to wash their hands before returning to work. I see this is a health risk. This is something that should be addressed to prevent disease spread and provide a higher level of cleanliness. read more

Why is it the customers responsibility to check your order to ensure it is correct? Do better. The carry out drive thru baggers need to check, recheck and check again. Too many times, my order is missing something. Then when you call to inform them of the mistake, they act like it is your fault. Why do you need employees who can't get their job done correctly? I've been going to this location for over 15 years and never once had a bad experience or interaction with an employee, until today. I went through drive through and pulled up to the employee who is supposed to take my order and was immediately demanded my window be rolled up because my dog was barking in the backseat. I asked again confused thinking I might have misheard her, and she responded with "I said roll your window up I'm not about to get bitten by your dog" (my dog would never hurt a fly he just gets excited when he sees new people and is very vocal about it, and had she have asked I would've told her that). After being demanded to roll my window up and refused service, I told her I'd like to be let out of line and she didn't even bother to move the cones, so I was forced to wait for the line to pass in order to get out, never able to order food. Let me start off by saying this one star does not represent the food! Chick-fil-A always surpasses expectations with food quality! Now, the reason for the one star review- since the renovation I've been here twice and both times the drive through line was outrageously slow. The first time I went I waited 45 minutes (dinner) in the line and the second was 35 (breakfast). The issue really is the way the line is set up- once you realize that is isn't moving AT ALL you're trapped in the line by cones and can't get out once you've committed to using the drive through so there goes an hour of your day. I definitely won't be back to this location as sad as I am to say. This is the only Chick-fil-A in the area but the new set up actually made it longer and harder to get your food. read more

Coming from NYC, all I could say was "wow" I mean seriously this place prides itself on customer service. They bring you food to your table?! They refill your drinks with a smile, "my pleasure"?! They give you mints and tell you to have a blessed day when leaving?! Seriously this type of treatment is foreign to me. Last time I went to a McDonalds in Manhattan the guy couldn't figure out how to use the automated machine to pour soda.
