We are in St Augustine for a couple days and Hurricane Grill and Wings is right across the street from the condo we are staying at , so we thought we would give them a try . What a great decision. We really had a good time at Hurricanes. The place was a fun bar/restaurant with a wide variety of food choices. The food was wonderful. The service was on point. Thanks Lucy for the attention. I would have given this five stats but we tried to sit outside and it was too noisy. Unfortunately, it is located on a main road and parking lot. My son said they were the best he has ever had! It came with two sides (we got the fries and Mexican corn). Fries were fresh, not sitting underneath a heat lamp, and the Mexican corn was excellent. We forget to stop here and each time we come, we tell ourselves we need to come more! There are plenty of places to sit, outside, the huge bar or in the dining area. Lots of locals stop in but many visitors eat here too! The menu is small but the food is consistently good no matter what you order. This very casual place is right on A1A South, and the outside seating is almost on the road and parking lot. They had a trio playing this evening, and they were quite good. We love hurricanes! My boyfriend and I have it on our regular rotation when we are too exhausted to cook. We've eaten there before and the food was good, but this time we got takeout and it was DISGUSTING!!! When my wife got there they said that it wasn't ready. My wife noticed a bag on the counter, after a few minutes another worker asked for her name and lo and behold it was there on the counter all the time. My wife ordered a burger with NO mayo and it was loaded with mayo. I ordered a Philly Cheese steak and it was decent . My wife asked for condiments (ketchup and hot sauce) and they said that they were in the bag. There were NO condiments in the bag . Also receipt was not in the bag either.
