This place consistently gets five stars for cleanliness and friendliness and quality and happiness. The joy of the Lord is evident in everyone who works here and everything about this eatery. The owner's Jessica and Matt Hughes have always been very generous in the community and they continue. Just spread vibes excellence wherever they're shopping is. They also have a restaurant in Sports Arena Midway District that is just as wonderful. This is a great location behind Trader Joe's and next to the rock and high-tech high schools. Their restroom is amazingly clean and it's just a pleasant experience altogether to go to in one of the nicest public restrooms I've ever seen. It takes a code to get in and it's well stocked and the best part is that the handwashing station has warm water. I received a mailer this month for three free items to use on three different visits. There was a free breakfast coupon a free lunch item and a free kids meal. How generous can you be? !! Today was the chicken biscuit breakfast sandwich. It was ready in two minutes and the biscuit is so light and fluffy and flavorful and the chicken is warm and right off of the fryer. I enjoy using the Chick-fil-A sauce, but it doesn't need a sauce because the biscuit is quite full of flavor. Thank you, Chick-fil-A and the Hughes family for spreading the joy and generosity of our Lord!

Love this spot! Great outdoor seating! Fresh and fast! Great addition to liberty station. Their tenders are good but a bit small! Fries are good! I love the cherry berry sprite. The breakfast sandwiches are my absolute favorite. Fluffy biscuits!

This is not your typical chick-fil-a and this chick-fil-a does not have a drive thru. I happen to be in the area and was starving after a nearby appointment I had. I came for breakfast, I've never had chick fil a breakfast before - I was not disappointed! About $10 for a decent meal - they also presented it very nicely. Staff were friendly. The place was not busy and was spotless. Service was quick. They do not have a full menu, so just be aware! Unsure what they have during lunch/dinner. Overall, I had a good experience and would come again.

Came here after a game to grab a frosted lemonade and of course it's a standard Chick-fil-A!! Clean, fast service. Smaller inside seating but with San Diego weather you can enjoy sitting outside. Food was fast, hot, and fresh. No complaints. I highly recommend this location at Liberty Station.

Some customers are always concerned about value vs. price, and, in this instance, the small Summer Breeze salad I had was "actually huge" and, their Top End Salad!! So for a high-end incredible salad under 17$ it is well worth it. I advise everyone in Ocean Beach to come here and enjoy their incredible salads! This is a review for the Ocean Beach location…read more Let's start with the positives first : the salad was pretty good. Now - let's get to the negatives - of which there are many. You would think one could get the salad served in a regular bowl if eating there - nope, they only have the "to go" plastic containers, even though their website shows salads served in an ACTUAL BOWL. So, great, I get to waste plastic, between the "to go" bowl, plastic fork, plastic cup for water, and plastic small cup for dressing. Second, they don't have ice?! WTF? We would like to have our Diet Coke with a cup of ice but they just....don't have any ice. Ok..... Next, let's talk about price. $16 for a salad isn't cheap, but then another $6 just to add some cubes of chicken? Really? For $22 I could go to an actual restaurant and not eat at one of these "fast casual" places. Over and over again we the public are told to "eat and spend local", but this is exactly why these places are going under. For $22 I get attitude from the 19 year old working the register, get to drink out of a can, get tons of plastic to dispose of, and get to sit in a bland, white cinder block eating area which has a beautiful view of the CVS parking lot. Learned my lesson - next time I'll go to an actual sit-down restaurant that charges the same price and is a much better experience.

The food has that made-from-scratch feel to it, and is always fresh and high quality. I've had breakfast and lunch here and haven't left a crumb behind either time. I loved the waffle with berries for breakfast, and the veggie sandwich at lunch time. I also LOVED the drink menu-- had the best matcha latte with housemade syrup (passionfruit I think?) and a really delicious old fashioned caramel latte. Some people might consider the downside of a place like this to be the small kitchen, as it can impact wait times and the kitchen's ability to accommodate specific requests. However!! I think this just makes the experience more special-- having to slow down and savor a dining experience instead of rushing from place to place is truly a treat. Although not always speedy necessarily, I've had amazing service every time I've visited here. On one occasion we had longer wait times for our food and were treated with a delicious cake at the end of our meal. On another, we had a very minor snafu happen where a server was adjusting an umbrella and accidentally knocked something over on the table next to us-- the staff comped all of our meals out of consideration which was just so generous and understanding. Overall I can't recommend this place enough! They have so many fun menus and specials. I can't wait to try their Peasant night in a few weeks. Grateful to have this spot in the neighborhood!

It actually is a very small cafe, so expect a bit of waiting, especially for peak dining times and weekends. There is seating both indoors and outdoors, and I chose to sit indoors. I was interested in their coffee menu, since they seemed to take craft in some of their creations. I enjoyed their Strawberry Cold Brew. It was light and sweet from the foam on top and had a nice balance of brew and strawberry flavor. For food, we kept it all veggie with their Black Bean Tacos and a Superfood bowl. It wasn't our first choice, though, as all of our selections were sold out for the afternoon. The food was bright and colorful, but did take a little longer to prepare. My bowl had plenty of red bell peppers and onions, which I did eventually get tired of eating. I loved the crispy kale and wish they included more of it or some seeds on top for more crunch! That day they were out of stock on everything we wanted, so I will have to give it another go if I ever get the chance to revisit. Overall, the service was very kind from the ladies and the coffee is notable!

Peace Pies is an absolute gem!…read more If you're looking for fresh, completely gluten-free food that actually tastes incredible, Peace Pies delivers on every level. Everything is raw, thoughtfully prepared, and you can truly taste the quality of the ingredients. The chef is hands-down amazing and somehow manages to turn healthy food into works of art. I ordered the buffalo wrap, which came with kale chips on the side. It definitely has a kick to it, but it's balanced by an entire rainbow of vegetables packed into the wrap. Every bite feels nourishing, full of vibrant ingredients that feed your body with different vitamins, minerals, and enzymes. I also ventured out and tried the freeze-dried durian. The texture immediately reminded me of a Lucky Charms marshmallow, although it's much less sweet. The flavor is incredibly difficult to describe--mild and subtle at first, with a fleeting savory note that quickly transforms into something almost tropical, like guava crossed with a nutty vanilla cream. It's unique, delicate, and unlike anything I've tasted before. For dessert, I sampled the Butterfinger and Twix. The Butterfinger filling has a green hue, which might surprise you at first, but don't let that fool you. The chef has somehow recreated the classic Butterfinger flavor in a raw, healthy version. It's not quite as sweet or crunchy as the original, but the flavor and texture are remarkably close and absolutely delicious, this is definitely a must try! The Twix was my personal favorite. The layers of caramel, cookie crunch, and chocolate come together perfectly. The balance of flavors is simply incredible. I've tried several items from Peace Pies over the years, and this place has never disappointed. The menu is creative, fun, and proof that healthy, raw, gluten-free food can be absolutely delicious. Highly recommend! Once in a while the workers are busy working in the back, prepping food and creating recipes- so you may have to get their attention... If they hear you come in, you're greeted immediately with helpful guidance to the menu. I came on prior occasions with my best friend who has many allergies and is of dark melanin- I state this because of a prior ill review regarding preferential treatment based on skin color. That has not been our experience. And I hope that review doesn't deter anyone from trying out this place.
